Peppermint Elf Seems they won't actually release him until the landlord puts in a wheelchair ramp and gets it certified. We applied all over for grants and funds to get a wheelchair ramp put in. HOWEVER! Oneida Indian Nation called today and said "Hey... we have a TOWNHOUSE with a wheelchair ramp. You can move in next month." eek

though I'd also get severely lost... but as long as I still have both legs and at least one arm, 'm good.
RaeRae: It's pretty easy to get there. Just hop on I-90 and it goes straight into Boston. 3nodding However, actually FINDING the convention center took me a whole hour. emo

Nabs-mom was crying. heart Actually, if you guys are coming the same day as us, you can park for 5 bucks a day in Alewife and ride the T in. Not only will you not have to drive in or navigate Boston, but you'll pay less to park for all weekend than you would pay for one day's parking in Boston itself.

Not only will you not have to drive in or navigate Boston, but you'll pay less to park for all weekend than you would pay for one day's parking in Boston itself. Yeah, the first time I ever went to Anime Boston was in 2004 with one of my friends. We rented a car, had a cheapie hotel room (not the con hotel, but it was right down the road) because her mother has worked for the Marriott for, like, 20 years, and we even had a little spending money for stuff in the Dealer's Room. And then we got to Boston and found out how much parking cost. My friend was on the phone with her mother, crying and begging her to put some money in her checking account. her mom told us to put the parking on the hotel bill, and to order room service if we needed to, and we could pay her back later. Otherwise we had a blast.
