(( Sil - Yeah, I think that's how this is gonna end up going down. Hopefully, it'll keep me interested until Diablo III comes out..Or until Mass Effect 3 comes out.))

Crouching, eyes shut tight, her head felt like it was about split straight down the middle. It took all her effort to focus and try and shut the bird up. Squinting at the metal monstrosity belting away from its perch, she had a sudden flashback. She had done something like this before!

Still grimacing, she got back to her feet, Kusari firm in place, "I don't know what I was expecting," she grunted, rubbing her ears, "But that certainly was not it."

From his current position, informative observations couldn't be made. He weighed the idea of closing the distance with his subjects. The cacophony of the machines would conceal his approach. It seemed the only risk was being seen. That and distancing himself from the sole exit he knew of. The rewards won over the risks. The two seemed to be consumed with the course to notice any spying. Soma lay his faith in no others entering to test their mettle, and ventured nearer.
Standing at the edge of a body of water of unknown depth, their heads hung at an angle that conveyed something was in the water. Rather than speculate at the pool's contents, Soma focused on what he could see, posts broke the surface of the water, spaced randomly. A master of this course would be quite formidable... He paused to indulge in the idea. The gears in his mind were interrupted by the boys actions. A projectile was launched into the water, and the surface became frosted white. An eyebrow raised with intrigue.
Soma watched them traverse the pond with due effort. It seemed the girl's concentration was broken and resulted in her plunging beneath the crystallized surface. An appendage breached the water, clasping a nearby post. This was undoubtedly tethered to the submerged girl. She was launched from the water and landed purposefully on the other side. Her ability was revealed.
He carefully watched the girl's movements after she recovered. She had a different air about her now. Her motions seemed foreign to her nature. They had become fluidly methodical, absent viscosity. This new body language exuding confidence. An appealing one. Each step seemed to revel in her uncanny power. Soma could not deny the fact that he was impressed.
