Actually yes and sometimes twice a week if someone's birthday in the family occurs during the week. We went out for Japanese food. On Wednesday were going out for my birthday dinner even though my birthday is on Tuesday because of my mom's work schedule
We don't go out to dinner nearly that often. My parents have a lot of money in stocks, and we bought a house for my grandma here while she was dying and my eldest sister her son and my brother-in-law lived there too and took care of her and we supported them financially, and now the real estate market is way down and we're trying to sell the place because the taxes on it and maintenance is incredibly expensive and nobody's even living there now, and the stock market has taken quite a hit as well, we aren't going bankrupt or anything, but we are being more money conscious and scaling back on some of the needless expenses.
Even if eating out often wasn't rather expensive, not to mention the horrendous amount of calories restaurant food has, my parents would pretty much never let us go out on a weekday because of school except maybe for a special occasion.
