I am so critical in order to quash as much of my natural arrogance as I can. Were I to let myself agree (and I only do so when even I cannot disagree) I would make it much easier for my arrogance to surface. It's not like I have much reason to NOT be arrogant, but I do not feel like it is a nice thing to do....plus, if I keep reminding myself of my flaws, I therefor remember I am not always the best.
I know that I am probably pretty, etc. but I am rather afraid of being lied to and taken advantage of that I refuse to accept such compliments. I do not read people and their intent too well (I have aspergers) and I am very conscious of how unintentionally charismatic I can be...

I am highly confident....generally too confident...but my fear of being used, plus all my truly annoying adhd, aspergers, other learning/mental disabilities (some I don't even know I have), etc....make how I talk about ntself seem highly un-confident. I just can't risk getting used, as I know it would probably tear me to pieces. As it stands, even when I give much of my,care and love to a boyfriend and I feel like they've used/abused it....I am quite the mess, depending on how attached I got...after it ended.

So I shall sell myself however I wish, so long as that selling never involves me selling my body like a prostitute or member of a similar profession.

Chaos? My whole mind is chaos. Even when asleep, my dreams are chaotic messes more befitting of a drug trip than a dream....at least what I imagine a drug trip would be like...

(I know....I just......It is far safer to be like this for me. My personal history has taught me this. I do think I am pretty, that I don't look like I had my,face "rearranged"...but....I'd rather deny than accept, just to keep myself safer....and whomever manages to fully win my trust (boyfriend person; it's hard for me to trust everyone else because of other history...) I'll know won't use me and leave....in fact, they'll probably be my fiancee or have married me... *is waiting til marriage, not a religiously motivated decision, but my own choice (also will weed people out)* I just have little trust, depending on what it's in... I fake being fine really well, until someone starts being really nice to me or they compliment me.)

I know, but that is just feels unfair to me....
And I prefer to think that we create our hell on earth and the only way left after death is up. So I doubt I'd actually go to hell...but I still feel throwing someone to the wolves is not fair...

Whatever he had been about to say was cut off when a female with long slate gray hair and warm brown eyes suddenly dropped down from the rafters and attempted to give Amu a big hug. emotion_hug (or maybe a glomp)

"Ke, Chaos," the girl giggled as the small silver bell attached to the silver collar around her neck chimed softly.

If it wasn't apparent before, her speaking up would make it clear that this was Bel in human form. She currently wore a long sleeved, black, dress like top that had a strange Mark on the front in a bright red color. She had a pair of dark blue pants on, with a headbow to match, and a pair of pale red shoes on her feet.

Oh I see. Ya know, You might be able to manage stuff like that with Gimp.. it can do layers, transparencies, and make Gifs, and it's free. :] But if that isn't gonna work for you, Paint Tool Sai Also allows for Layers and stuff, but I don't know about animation sort of things. But, it's only $67, and I love it. Otherwise you really ought to look into flash. Cus making art is awesome. ^^

A tasmanian devil would be interesting. XD Glad I helped inspire ideas. :3

Oh, so they're the supporting cast. I follow now. An you're trying to develope them and their boss. Sorta like how there's a 'b' team of meisters in the Anime Soul Eater, or how in D.Gray-Man Kanda and Mari are an important team and such, but they aren't the main one so you don't follow them all the time... I see.
Anyways, I actually have a couple ideas for this boss lady of yours. I would say go with making her have a book store, and a vast knowledge. If you make her team animals like a ballooning spider, a mouse, or a raccoon, they could be spies quite easily, and she could be the sort of character who manipulates the story from the shadows; perhaps even turning out to be the villain, in spite of the fact that I'm pretty sure your Seth character is based on The Egyptian god of Chaos. ;D

Yeah, as far as I could see Flash costs $700 for the full version, though I could probably get a trial version for free... which I'd have to pay for later. sweatdrop Might see about doing GIMP, I've heard about it, but never used it before so I don't know how well I'd do with it artwise.

Was kidding about the ballooning spider bit. razz I like the knowledge idea since my spider technomage/mad scientist like character can easily gather electronic data. Not to mention her animal form would make it easy to bug... or rather spider, a place personally. xd The mech pilot[giant robot!] has her snake form to help her spy, and can be considered one of the two 'heavys' so to speak. Or meat shield that happens to be smart. razz The literal gun bunny can do a bit of spying in her rabbit form and like the mech pilot she can be the other heavy. She's got serious access to firepower, not counting the extra stuff that the spider girl could make for her, so she'd not be a joke. And the ninja fox doubles as a spy and a heavy as well, because she's a ninja .

As much as I loved the idea of a tasmanian devil, I decided to go with a macaw animal form to give the team an eye in the sky that's not a mechanical one. Of course she's still going to be a pirate, I just need to figure out a name for her. biggrin And I am using the tasmanian devil for one of the other harem ritual members, but it'll be someone who sadly never regained their humanity. crying So never even a secondary character.

Yeah, Seth's a slight mix of the two Chaos themed Egyptian deities, more the first one than the snake one, and Kei's based on the Chaos themed Norse deity. >.> Considering how orderly I see Athena being[bordering on a lawful or neutral good alignment], not to mention her connection to spiders in general[her children fear spiders in the Percy Jackson series], I can't really see her being the type to hang out with those two fellows. Was leaning more toward Nyx if I went with Greek deities[considering she was born from Chaos]. Might look into the other one you mentioned, and if I go with that one, then maybe my macaw pirate will take her name from that sort of language.

Does some information research... Hmm, actually Kali might be a better fit seeing that my research indicates Shiva is a male deity with Kali or Kālikā as his consort. O.o

No I mean the Percy Jackson has Athena's children, demigods in this case, afraid of spiders because said spiders are more than upset about the whole Arachne thing. Probably not explaining that properly =/ if you read the Lightning Thief book I think that explains it better. Or else it was something in that series that explained why Anabeth was afraid of spiders. >.>

And yeah, Greek deities have a habit of doing some pretty dark stuff, let's not forget one story tells that Athena made Medusa into the horrific snake haired lady because said woman got raped/had sex with Poseidon in one of Athena's temples. Talk about ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time. eek

Anyway, even with that dark side, I still couldn't see someone based on her hanging out with Seth and Kei, so Kali it is!

sweatdrop sweatdrop And apparently I did decide on Kali for the boss lady's initial base a while back. xd But I put my research to some use and now have a rough idea for what my pirate's name and general appearance will be.

Okoto Yemayá Olokun will be dark skinned[a pretty far contrast since I think the others are all more fair skinned] with either white hair and blue eyes or blue hair and silver eyes. Gonna start looking for some good images, or maybe see about tekteking her. ^_^
