((Well see our dude doesn't really do anything... xD He comes in and eats some cat food and hangs out for a bit at night, then goes back out into the wild suburbs. My cats don't even mind him. It's really weird. They just sit there like it's not even weird there's a giant raccoon eating their food. >___>;; The first time I saw that I was like "OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE USELESS DB" ))

@Sil: It's not doing anything because it's a sneaky little devil. It keeps coming back because you're not doing anything to drive it away and it'll soon become too comfortable. Eventually it'll start digging through your trash and will might even try to break into your house. By that time, your cats will try to attack it, but raccoons are tough bastards and there's no telling what kinds of diseases that thing might carry.))

((Nah... he's been around two or three years now... and I've chucked bottles at him (only plastic so the noise scares him when it hits the pavement), so he knows I don't take s**t. He might rummage through other houses garbage but he's never done anything at our house ever. xD It may be because the cats ARE there. One of our cats is rather large. Like... about the size of the raccoon and he seems to like... supervise the raccoon. I'm starting to think they're friends or something :I It really is just some weird animal kingdom ******** in my backyard.

((@Sil: That's...the first time I've ever heard of a friendly raccoon... Seriously, all of the raccoons that I've encountered were horrible little monsters that liked to ruin lives. Guess this one is special if he hasn't bothered you for three years now.))

((Yep... and the possum is even less bothersome... and kinda cute... he or she is like a giant rat. eue;; I don't know why I find that cute... I think the weirdest things are cute wtf. We apparently have demure foragers. ))
