Crouching, eyes shut tight, her head felt like it was about split straight down the middle. It took all her effort to focus and try and shut the bird up. Squinting at the metal monstrosity belting away from its perch, she had a sudden flashback. She had done something like this before!
Closing her eyes again and taking a deep breath, she concentrated on Kusari, managing to send it straight towards the bird, winding itself around the bird's beak. With a sharp tug from the girl, Kusari began to constrict, closing the beak slowly until it was completely shut, exactly like she had dealt with the dragon's head, during the attack. The wailing could still be heard, but it was now muffled enough so she could actually function.
Still grimacing, she got back to her feet, Kusari firm in place, "I don't know what I was expecting," she grunted, rubbing her ears, "But that certainly was not it."

The series of emotions that Sil experienced could not easily be tracked, especially not by the expression on her face. Outside her features stayed hard and stoic as her suspicion deepend further. In light of recent events, whatever Benefit-of-the-doubt she had been willing to give to new individuals in their precious home had been violently reduced. That voice in her head screamed this could be a Noah or an Akuma even, but as of late their security had been beefed up so heavily that she doubted either of those options could get into the castle with their powers still intact at the end of it.
Regardless of the suspicion that's fought to keep hold of her, Sil softened at the grand gesture of humility the man folded into. Though she couldn't boast much knowledge of east Asian cultures, she did know from other members of the Order that bowing in such a way was nearly a form of begging. Her face heated up wondering if something evil could go through such a humble gesture.
"Okay, okay quit that," she said, approaching the man against her better judgement. "I know who... Yuuka is, but you have to understand that I care for that girl ver much and unless I know you are for real I won't let you see her. The Yuuka I know is ten, and her father passed away five years ago. I think you must be mistaken." Sil leaned down to touch the mans back, to get him out of that bow, prepared to strike with Innocence should the moment arise. She would not trust this man-- humor him for the moment? Yes. Believe him? No. "Have you drank anything weird lately? Touched anything... Been shot by any darts..."
If he were telling the truth that memory of Chaoe's would have been mistaken, and Sil did not trust for that to happen with such an intense and vivid vision. The only other options for honesty were... That the man was a spirit, which she believed even less. Chaoe's father would have even less of a reason to be haunting this place, for as far as she knew he had never set foot in the Order.

Rei looked up, eyes wide with worry. "You..you know her? But.." He looked back down, "How could that be? Yuuka only just turned five unless.."
He stood up after she touched his back, a look of grief on his face.
"No, I don't remember much but I know I was not hit by darts and I did not drink anything strange." His eyes widened, "Ah- but it was dark, and then this light hit me." He rubbed at his neck nervously, head racing.

He sighed and sat back down, looking up at Sil.
"Miss, could you please let me see her? She doesn't need to see me but I would love to see her..even once to make sure." His eyes softened, a painful smile made it's way onto his face.
