HUBTNKI I found a pic I drew a while ago OO: Ah~ Memories~ ; W; But yah, I think i'll have Rei say a little hello before he's turned into an akuma xD )
A man peeked into the room, blinking a bit. He sighed, noticing the one he was looking for was not here either. With a frown he walked in and sat down, looking down at the small kappa doll in his hands sadly. Where could she be?

She ignored his comment in the tunnel, though frowned slightly while she was inspecting the cube. If he was going to be like that, then fine. She wasn't about to change, and if it was up to her it would be long while still until he was satisfied with her behaviour again. Though he looked like he would have been a lot of fun, she could easily find someone else to play with if he was too worked up about this whole Michiyo deal.
Having made up her mind, she focused her attention back on what was still interesting and exciting in the room, namely the cube, "Hm, no markings or whatever...," she muttered to herself as she circled it, running her hands over the surface. She gave it an experimental knock, and found it was hollow, "Hello~ Anyone... or anything... in there?"

Erin sighed a little when he didn't receive a response. He narrowed his eyes as he watched her, and an idea struck him. He certainly didn't like her prodding at the large cube, so he walked up to her. Grabbing her around the waist and pulling her backwards away from it, he held her a little close to himself. If she was going to act weird, maybe there was something he could do to knock her out of whatever strange mood she was in.
"Come away from there, we don't know what could be inside. If something jumps out suddenly you could be done for," he said gently.

((Chao: He's so handsome ;; ... I love that picture.
Lavi: Okay ;; *Grabby hands.* .... Sleep welllll.))
Sil wasn't wary when someone entered the room, still shuffling though the movement of her hands had lessened considerably. People came in and out of the room on a nearly constant basis, and although she usually tried to be friendly, she wasn't exactly in a cordial mood. As she glanced over at the form sitting near by however, the shock of the sight caused her to fumble and spill the cards all over the floor.
The man sitting there looked horrifyingly familiar, and as she remembered where from Sil felt like she had been doused by a bucket of ice water. The man looked exactly like the man she had seen in Chaoe's past memories, a terrifying experience the two had not spoke of since. She quickly bent down to scoop up the cards and right them, her eyes dropping as she decided quickly that she was being silly. Surely plenty of people in the world looked like each other, right?
"Hello," she finally said, trying to keep the previous terse terror from affecting friendliness in her voice. The sound was mostly steady, and she smiled a little as she looked up. "Are you okay? I don't think I've ever seen you around these parts. Can I help you out somehow?"

She looked up in surprise when she was suddenly grabbed and pulled away from the cube, but she wasn't about to complain... much. Perhaps he did want to play after all.
She twisted round from where he still held her, cheeky smile still untouched, "But isn't half the fun finding out?" she challenged, eyes shining, "That's the exciting thing about a box... It could be anything, anything at all."
After turning back away from him to face the cube again, she leaned back against him leisurely, surveying the iron square with a thoughtful look, with pursed lips and a finger tapped comically to her chin, before laying her head back in her neck to look up at his face as she asked, "If it could be anything at all... what would you want it to be?"

(Yaaaay~ Mission accomplished!
Seeya Lavi~)
The man looked up when Sil started talking to him, a warm smile made it's way onto his face, trying to be polite. "Ah, yes. I woke up in a hallway and I found this." He held up the kappa doll. "This, it belongs to my daughter. I'm trying to find her, she gets fairly upset when she's alone." He looked back down, holding the doll close to his chest. "I'm worried, my poor Yuuka, she must be so scared in such a big and empty place.."

(( Sils face when... xD))
Sil had more or less managed to keep her cook through the first part of the mans explanation. There were plenty of kids in the Order and it wasn't uncommon for parents to offer their skills to the Order once their children had become members of it. His explanation was perfectly explainable until he continued, adding new threads of detail to his soft, woe tinted explanation. By the time his sentence ended, the color had drained out of her face and her jaw became taut to hide the nervous swallow that felt as difficult as swallowing glass.
"No," Sil slipped for the couch and started to back up a little, her eyes trained on the man with slotted suspicion. Either someone was playing an elaborate joke or it was a shape morpher-- there was no other explanation. "Wrong body to choose, pal. That guy is long dead and I won't let you within a foot of that girl," her voice had an intense, dangerous edge to it despite its evenness. "Who are you really? Don't try to be cute or I'll cut you down where you sit."

[ I hope you know what's in the box because I don't have any ideas for what would be inside. sweatdrop ]
At that point, Erin started to reason with himself. He reasoned that he was doing this to knock Michiyo out of her strange mood, and for nothing else. When she leaned back against him, the breath he had been holding in slowly and quietly escaped his lips. Her clothes were already drying with the warmth of her body, and he could feel the heat from her back. It felt nice to be leaned on like that, to be that close to her, even just standing there together. He cleared his throat before answering.
"The way out of here," he said quietly.

[[ Lol, right now the cube in my mind just looks like the Pandorica from Doctor Who, and I don't think we can use what's in that one here XD ]]
"He~, I thought you would've gone for something a bit more dramatic," she quiped, giving him a slight nudge, "Besides, aren't you having fun?" Her beaming grin spoke volumes about the 'fun' she was having.
"But all joking aside, I think you might be on to something," she started, a more serious edge to her voice, even if it was microscopic, "I mean, there doesn't seem to be any way out through the bars..." She motioned around them, "Which must mean... it's in there!"
With another excited grin, she darted out of his arms and back up towards the cube. "Let's see what you got, huh?" From around her waist, Kusari unravelled, and she sent the sharpened end flying all around the cube, poking at various parts. Suddenly something clicked, and the edges started to glow, before falling away to the side - the girl barely had time to jump out of the way - throwing up dust as they landed. She coughed and waved a hand in front of her face, waiting for the dust to settle to see what was inside.
When she did see, she let out a elated gasp. On the bottom of the box, a large perch was fixed. On the perch sat a beautifully crafted iron songbird, with the most minute details etched away on it wings and beak. It sat perfectly still. Eyes wide and an amazed smile on her face, the girl edged closer, but froze when the bird suddenly moved. It opened it's beak, but instead of the singing that she expected, a loud and shrill sound started to wail through the cage. With a wince, she sank to her knees, the sound so piercing that her head ached and her eardrums feeling as if they might burst at any moment.

(xDD)
Rei made a worried face when Sil became pale and was about to ask her what was wrong. He flinched when she said something about him being dead. "W-what?" His eyes widened. "What are you talking about? You know where Yuuka is!?" He stood up, desperate. "Please! I need to see her-" He swallowed hard before sitting back down. "I'm sorry, but I don't..understand what it is you're trying to say. My name is Rei and I live with my daughter. Her mother passed away soon after she was born. Yurika meant the world to me and my daughter Yuuka is the same.." His bangs covered his eyes. "I-I need to see her. Take her home so I can protect her. She's only five.."
He looked up at Sil, "Miss, if you know where my daughter is..please.." He stood up again, got down on his knees and bowed, his forehead touching the ground.

"Yeah, of course," he nodded with a grin.
It was all he could say for the time being. He didn't know how to react to this attitude, or this version of her. To be honest, he wasn't sure that he liked it. She wasn't herself, and while she seemed to not mind a certain kind of attention, it wasn't what Erin was used to from her. She seemed to be far more confident than usual, which was definitely good, she needed to be more confident. She seemed nice enough as well, but there wasn't that sweetness that she usually had. Instead it was replaced with mischief and a coy, almost naughty nature. When she pulled away from him again he reached after her and then his arm dropped at his side. He jumped as Kusari started piercing at the box. He tried to tell her to stop, but it was too late. When the dust cleared and he saw the metal songbird, he frowned. He took a step closer, but when it opened its beak and the shrill noise filled the cage, he stopped in his tracks. Covering his ears with his hands, he grimaced. The wailing was so loud and piercing that he could hardly take it. He managed to trudge to the bird and he looked around frantically for some way to stop the noise.
