Kiah had stuttered her way through cards, relying on Sil to win all of the games for them. She'd been uncomfortable then entire time they'd been playing, partially because she had no clue what she was doing, but mostly because the man next to her had kept leering at her. She was glad when it was all over and Sil had pulled her out of the pub, watching in amusement at the young woman's excitement. "I guess it wasn't so bad... I could probably hold my own in a game now, though." Shrugging a bit, she followed the girl back down the alleyway when the large man suddenly appeared in front of them, causing Kiah's hand to inch toward her holster slowly.
When the four ended up surrounding them, Kiah got back to back with Sil, preparing for the worst and keeping her gun hidden for the moment while staring down the two thugs on her side. She figured that since it was four on two, they really wouldn't stop at just taking their money and letting them go free. "What kind of gentlemen shake down a couple of ladies for extra cash, hmm? Or are you too stupid to take on someone your own size?" Her baiting worked as planned when the 'gent' on the right started rushing toward her, causing her to draw her gun and quickly shoot him in the leg. He collapsed in a groaning heap while his partners were wide eyed with surprise. They snapped out of it when they heard Kiah pull back her pistol to get another shot ready, dragging out their own guns in the process.
