((Sil: I get all my box sets off of amazon-a LOT cheeper than at wallmart, or anywhere else i've found. Most if not all my Bleach cost 20 bucks less on there than walmart))

((Ohhhh right... I did buy my ex-boyfriend an entire set of Naruto DVDs once... but it was off of e-bay, and probably burned onto disks... but it was super cheap so. : D Haha... I'm a terrible person apparently. *Hasn't actually bought anime or manga in a very long time.* ))

Kiah looked at Sil with an expression of horror, nearly dropping her drink in surprise. "No way! That's Wisconsin, which is totally different! We're the ones with all the wooded areas." She ended up grumbling a bit at the young woman's lack of knowledge, but knew that it really wasn't that hard to believe that her state wasn't well-known. Sil's next question kind of stung, but she decided to just answer and not dwell on it. "Well, we still have schools and libraries like everyone else. There's always sledding in the winter- which lasts a lot longer than here- horseback riding, and hiking or biking through the woods. Though we also have a lot of farms, so most of our times goes to taking care of those."
(( Hick Minnesota: Drink beer and shoot random things for fun. Maybe tip a cow at some point. OTZ ))

Star: I do own the first disk set of DGM, first set of Trigun... but that's because my friends gave them to me. >.>;; Admittedly I don't watch much anime anymore though, so that's why I don't own much.

Sil almost snorted her drink in laughter at Kiah's utter outrage at her image of what Minnesota must have been like, which ended in her blinking back tears as her nose burned. "I'm sorry! I really don't know much about the middle states. I always lived in huge cities where we didn't have things like that... Honestly it sounds like a whole hell of a lot of fun to do those things... well, except the farm animals," she made a slight repulsed at the thought of having to deal with livestock up close and personal, something she had avoided for most of her life. "Back where I lived we just... bought what we needed. It must be interesting to actually have a hand in making it, in one way or another. Did you go to school, too? I never went to school with other kids," her question was asked in keen interest, seeming rather fascinated by Kiah's alternate American lifestyle.

Sil: Ah. I mostly watch anime nowadays which is why i buy them as often as possible. I swear, I'm addicted to amazon XD))

Kiah sent a glare Sil's way when she started laughing into her drink, though after a few seconds she couldn't help but crack a smile at her overreaction. "No, I'm sorry. We're really not visited too much, so it's not really that much of a surprise." She took another sip of her drink before continuing. "Taking care of animals really isn't too hard when you were raised on a farm."
"Yeah, our parents had al-both of us go to school until we were sixteen. I studied more afterward to get into the Black Order. What do you mean, you never went to school with other kids?" she questioned, trying to cover up her barely noticeable slip.

With the illusion of drinking, it was easy for Sil to dismiss Kiah's slip of the tongue as the alcohol taking effect. Had she noticed it, she would have been quite interested in pursing the details of it, but for now she was having an impossibly good time talking about things that seemed... well... normal.
"Wow," she stated, honestly surprised that Kiah had wanted to join the Order so badly that she had actually studied for it. "I didn't really know people trained specifically to join the Order... That's... dedication. Is the job you have now the one you wanted?"
At the questioning of her own unorthodox education, Sil became a little flustered wondering if she should have kept it to herself. "Uhm... well... I had private tutors... until I was about eleven... after that..." her slender shoulders arched in a shrug, a change in her life that meant more to her than needed to be openly displayed, "I... learned from life and my mother mostly," a ghost of a smile touched her lips, though she covered it by lifting the glass to them. She remembered what it was like to sit in her mothers lap and have her explain the world to her through the words of books and images, even though by the end of it her mother had little books left to show her. It was odd to think that something so bountiful before had become a luxury in that part of her life. "Around twelve, I ended up at the Order and picked up what I needed to pushing papers for the Science Division, and they trained me up from there."
