/lame explanation as to why Sil has barely been around in forfreakingever.

With a gentle hum, Sil shrugged into a darkly colored maroon jacket; a civilian one instead of her normal Exorcists jacket. The last few weeks had been littered with her doing a whole hell of a lot of continent jumping now that she was back on her feet and in the Exorcist game again, and though she was happy to be home again she quickly became antsy.
Though the snow was starting to melt and the weather becoming more agreeable, it was still quite chilly outside especially at night. Having left her gloves drying by the fire in the common room to dry and warm, Sil quietly made her way into the room to fetch them from the lip of the fire place. At first she thought the room was empty, but as she glanced to the familiar couches she spotted the familiar form of their resident paper bunny. "Hey Kiah, good book?"

Kiah had heard someone come in for once, and wasn't surprised in the least when Sil spoke up from beside the fire place, causing her to shut her book and peak over the top of the couch. "Hey Sil! It's pretty good, yes." Throwing the book on the table, Kiah sat up on the couch to better see the other girl. "So how have you been? Oh, are you going out?" she questioned, noticing Sil was wearing warmer clothes.

Sil easily scooped the gloves she had been seeking, the warmth of the fire seeping from the soft fabric into the skin of her sensitive bare hands. The nice feeling warmed her from head to toe and she started to tug them onto her exposed fingers before the warmth could escape its woven prison. "Oh you know, running all over God's green Earth fighting the good fight, so not too bad," she smiled a little, glad to see that home had stayed more or less normal while she had been away. "How have you been?"
She brushed her gloved hands along her trousers, guessing that was how Kiah had guessed that she was going out for the evening. "Yeah, I quit smoking for lent, so I'm going to go partake in some of my other vices to make up for it," her voice was light, and mostly amused, though in her current state she didn't feel too amused about the situation. The addicted part of Sil wanted to punch her in the mouth for even mentioning the word smoking. Oh God she missed it, and it was God who was getting her to quit at the moment. "The pubs around here are breeding grounds for suckers waiting to lose their money, and of course a good drink. You want to come?"
