Michiyo, squinting at the floor by the little light provided by the entrance of the tunnel, had shuffled slowly forwards, feeling her way across the floor and discovering that some of the stones lay a little higher than others, and avoiding those. Soon enough, the light from the entrance had faded, and she had little else to go on but touch as she moved slowly towards the small speck of light that she prayed was the end of the tunnel.
She had heard another stone sliding open behind her, but figured it was Erin entering the tunnel as well, so she moved on without a backwards glance. By this time it wouldn't have helped anyway, as the tunnel was pitch black. She was lucky she already had her hands on the ground as she fumbled along, so that when Erin - she knew it was him from his colourful commentary, and not something new and horrible - hit her from behind she didn't have to brace herself much to avoid slamming face-first into the floor. She felt the body fall over her shoulders and heard it hit the floor in front of her, where something ominously clicked beneath his weight.
"Stay down," she hissed, as already somewhere above their heads stones were grinding inwards to make way for something deadly and disturbing. She herself pressed herself closer to the floor, hoping it would not be aimed that low.

"What the hell were you doing on the floor!?" he yelled a bit angrily as he rubbed an elbow.
He couldn't help but laugh at the same time, even if it was painful. He had obviously hit his funny bone on the hard floor, but he quickly stifled his laughter at the sound of the traps above them. He didn't enjoy being on the filthy floor, and he sighed as he started to crawl forwards. At least he was ahead of Michiyo now, which made him grin. Whatever it was that had been released in the fall, luckily missed them. Erin didn't feel entirely at ease as he continued, though. Komui had to suspect that people would try to crawl...
It seemed they had gotten of scott free though, as they were nearing the end of the tunnel. Erin desperately wanted to make a run for it, as he stared at the light. Not paying attention to where he rested his arm as he was still crawling, he pressed down one of the trap stones. The floor started to shudder beneath them both and Erin's eyes widened. As bricks here and there began falling underneath them, Erin realized the floor was slowly caving. He scrambled away from the center and pressed himself against the wall of the tunnel, getting up on his feet again but remaining crouched.
"The floor!" he looked behind him to see if Michiyo had made it to the edge of the tunnel alright.
All that was left of the floor until the edge of the tunnel was a small ledge on one side. Erin shrugged a little and carefully straightened his legs as he stood fully upright. He spread his arms flat against the wall.
"At least all the trap stones are gone?" he laughed a little weakly.

"I was trying to avoid hitting any of the boobytraps!" she replied in a hushed tone, as if sound could also trigger something, "The only way to do that was to feel which ones were rigged!"
After the noise above their heads had stopped, they moved towards the light again, and for a while everything went swimmingly, even if she was slightly miffed about losing her head start because he was stumbling around in the dark. The light from the end helped her to at least being able to distinguish shapes, which became clearer by the second as more light pooled in. When in front of her, something once again clicked and Erin froze, Michiyo stifled the curse that was fighting to pass her lips. She waited patiently at first for the stones above her head to move, but when the ones beneath her started to quiver, she shot upright. In the light in front, she saw Erin stuck close to the wall and quickly followed his example before the entire floor had gone. All that was left before her - slightly shaking - feet was a gaping black hole, with seemingly no bottom.
She only scowled at his joke, as this made things a lot harder, and instead started to shuffle forwards, her arms plastered to the wall and following its every groove. Around her waist, Kusari stirred, but she didn't want to use her before she really needed to. Once outside in the light, she breathed a sigh of relief as her feet found stable support again. She was also glad to find she hadn't fallen far behind, as the shuffling had slowed them both down. Blinking rapidly to adjust her vision to the sudden brightness, her mouth fell open as she saw the next obstacle.

Soma watched their progress. He made mental notes of anything useful. When the two had fallen out of his sight, he took time to look at the diagram he rushed past earlier. He eyed the picture, matching up the display with what he could see from his position. The course looked formidable. Would be nice to make use of this. he thought longingly.

Spread out in front of them was a vast pool of water. Jutting up from the water in various places were posts, just big enough to balance on with one foot. The water churned on and off in places, which made Erin curious. He moved to the edge of the pool and looked into the water, noticing fish. He was a little surprised to see them swimming around so docile, and he looked around for something to toss into the water. He picked a stone up from the ground and tossed it into the pool. Within an instant, the fish turned vicious and darted in the direction of the disturbance. Erin immediately took a step back from the edge and looked back at Michiyo.
"Don't....touch the water."
His mouth didn't fall open like Michiyo's, but he was still surprised. Thinking about it, he really shouldn't have been entirely surprised, as it was Komui's doing after all. He vaguely wondered if Komui was trying to kill off all the Exorcists in an attempt to keep Lenalee to himself. It was obvious that the course had been designed with malicious intent.

i get a spring break but nothing for easter. Are you going to scranton for parade weekend?? I am trying to get a group together to go to the parade. I think brenton and his gf might be coming ^_^))
