So I'm at my parents' until Friday, then I'm picking Hiro up from the airport on Saturday. He'll be around for three weeks. I'm SO excited. whee heart

I hope I don't bomb it lol. It's worth 20% of our grade. Then I'm off to Japanese level 3 next quarter, and then 4, 5 and 6 next year. Applying to grad school in the midst of all that and getting ready to take the GRE (again)...fun times ahead. *sigh*

hilaroma TweedleKeys AzurePaleSky Earlier today I finally watched My Neighbor Totoro, but I fell asleep and Studio Ghibli's films were in my dreams.... I dreamt that Porco Rocco was rated R and showing in drive-ins! I must see that one too... I just finished the rest of Totoro, and it was full of love. I want a Totoro or Cat Bus plushie! But... what was with the mom? I guess she had some disease? I was hoping for mental illness, since they had to ease her back into life with them. But the movie seemed to span at least a month or more, which makes me wonder....Oh well! I loved the expressions and movements. As always, Miyazaki is heart Some kids have race car beds. I want a catbus bed... or at least that really really big catbus 'plushie' at the Ghibli Museum. I was so sad when I saw that thing and realized that only kids are allowed to play in it. My dreams....ruined! crying Yeah... though the soot in the playroom made up for it a bit... if only they sold those at the shop.

Half way thru, I fell asleep. I woke up as it was ending and OMG... TOO DAMN WARM! gonk But the pain is gone at least. sweatdrop You know, maybe it was something about the episode. I lasted all through part 1 with the library, but after that I started to doze off and ended up not waking up until the next show was starting. I wasn't even that tired! gonk hila loev Ghost Hunters. I wish I had tv at school so I could watch it more often... crying

Is...it just me, or has the V-Day item not been chosen yet? I..don't recall an announcement coming out about it at all and when I go to the voting thing it says the contest is set to private. I suppose that's understandable being the voting ended a while ago or should have but...I don't see anything for the V-Day winner in the forum.

I love Ghost Hunters. biggrin heart I love that show, too. I got my co-worker into watching Paranormal State with me, too...which is really amusing because I'm pretty sure our program is haunted. And...countdown to Anime Boston!!!! Stream may plan to wipe out Tokyo on a regular basis, but Luna wishes for Boston to sink into the Atlantic Ocean.

I'll BACKLOG when I get home this evening, but I was reminded of something that I have yet to offer my AGers.
I'm going to the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) at the end of this month. This is a HUEG event where many, many companies will be sampling lots of stuff, so ... my fellow AGers ... Is there anything you guys want me to keep my eyes open for?
Event products?
Certain cosplayers?
Certain ZOMG AWESOME stuff?
Certain companies' boothes?
Please let me know here or via PM. :3

Streamjumper Shoujo Phoenix LunaInverse Shoujo Phoenix A little past 11:30 last night, we heard a big BOOOOM outside. It wasn't anything like a car backfiring or even a gunshot. It sounded like an explosion. Then we saw a helicopter circling not too far from here.
I woke up at 5:30am and heard a hoard of helicopters in the air over there. So I turned on the news until I could find what it was. Apparently, someone got on the freeway the wrong way and was driving East on the West-bound side. He ran head-on into a semi truck...and like, two other cars were involved and blew up somehow. The only fatality was the guy driving the wrong way. But wtf...drunk maybe?

I think I might have still been in high school, or recently graduated, when this drunk got onto the highway, going the wrong way, and derailed a tractor-trailer. Though that's probably too much to ask for because of Takeuchi taking the rights away from places. I've got all the seasons and movies..merchandise..well, not so much of it which I don't need much of anyway. I'm not really sure which my favorite anime is besides that though. I mean, I like a lot of them.. Damn, I don't know. But if there was some Sailor Moon merchandise there I'd heart you. xd

I can safely say that it certainly wasn't a mental illness since they were concerned with her passing away. Oh yeah... hmm how sad.
