Michiyo shuffled into the Common Room, only briefly stopping by the door as she checked whether there wasn't another party going on that she hadn't been informed of and was now grossly under- or overdressed for, depending on the theme.
To her relief, there wasn't, but there was a nice big fire crackling in the hearth, so she headed over to the couch, snuggled up in a corner near the roaring flames and opened the book she had brought at the bookmark, almost immediately engrossed in the story.

sweatdrop Chobits are Persocoms or personal computers that are built to look like humans. They can walk and talk just like a robot. But they are so sophisticated that sometimes they can be mistaken for humans. The anime Chobits is about a Persocom that this guy finds in the trash. There is something wrong with her system at first and the only word she says is "Chii" so he calls her that. ]
