I once saw an 8x16 foot blank canvas (it was painted solid white) in an art gallery. All sorts of prats were going off on how it represented existential this or null entropy that. I said, "They hung it upside down..." Of course, since they were too literal and stuck up, they believed it.

People often don't get my sense of humor; I'll say something in a completely serious tone that is just ludicrous but since I don't have a huge smile on my face or laugh immediately afterwards they'll take it to heart. Which is interesting because I never knew calling someone a slutmuffin could really hurt their feelings. I suppose it all leads back to people taking themselves too seriously; which in turn makes anyone who is not constantly serious immature but now I'm rambling haha sorry.

Camwen Thanks for the update Kiara. I hope Erin can get her connection sorted out soon. She must be having terrible online withdrawal. Thanks again Kiara for filling the guild in for me.. Truth be told the modem issue is not yet sorted out.. it is 2pm my time and I've already rebooted the fr*C^en modem a half dozen times.. I need a new one badly at the moment am unsure of how that will happen due to finances.. I really need to call the telephone company though and see if they have any advice as they are the ones who sold me this one five years ago.. And Camwen? You are extremely correct about my frustrations and intermahnets withdrawl.. the only thing keeping me together is that Noch got me the Sims3 expansion for christmas lol.. but all the adventuring in egypt won't cure my need for gaia or facebook. As for right now though my internet is up and running so I'm gonna head over and try to get some work done on the newsletter.. we'll see how that goes... *hugs to all*
