Kari closed her eyes tight, she had a feeling he would say that.
"They're going to kill you tomorrow, Ushio.." She hugged him close. "I can't lose you too, I wouldn't be able to handle it..." She ran a hand through his hair. "Please ushio... these people, your friends, are going to kill you... please.."

Ushio looked up at her with his pale white eyes, it showed he was scared of dying. "I know...Akunchi gave me a deal this morning after the bodies were brought back...I-I'm going to accept it..." it was a deal to be metsu's personal errand boy, it was the hardest job and he couldn't imagine going back to the star.

Kari began to cry loudly.
"Please, I need you Ushio! I have no one else!" She held him close. "P-Please... I-I was gonna bring Kaname bacck... b-but I'm to weak, I don't have enough energy..."
Kaname was watching from behind a tree.

Ushio got wide eyed at her and smiled softly. "Then can we bring tsunya? He's my best friend." he hugged her tight.

Kari nodded.
"Y-Yeah... o-of course.... a-as long as you come home.." She finally let go and wiped away her tears, sniffling a little.
Tsunya was messaging his temples, hearing some girl yapping on about something, at the current moment he just wished she would shut the hell up. He was worried about Ushio, he was his friend after all.
"Yeah... mhm.."

Ushio smiled and let go, standing up. "I'll meet you at home, I'm going to get tsunya." he helped her up before running off to get tsunya.

Kari nodded and then looked at the water, waiting.
Tsunya shook his head at the girl and walked off, putting his hands in his pockets.

Ushio came up by tsunya and grabbed his arm to pull him. "Tsunya! We're both leaving this place!" he tried to hurry him.

Tsunya blinked and let Ushio pull him a bit before he started running next to him, a confused look on his face.
"Where are we going?"

Ushio was running fast, surprised tsunya could keep up with him. "We are going to the star village to live there with my friend Kari and kaname will be back later." he got to the forest and stopped to take a breath.

Tsunya stopped beside him and put his hands on his knees then his eyes went wide.
"Kari? You know KARI? Wait! Was that her in the camp earlier?!"
Kari was pacing back and forth, she had been living with the bandits when she was young then found out they were trying to control her. So she left, killing a few people and turning in Akunichi.

Ushio looked up at Tsunya and nodded. "I knew her for a couple years...she is like a second mother to me.." He kept a lookout, Tsunya still had his earring so he was afraid Metsu would try to control him.

Tsunya sighed and took the earing out, crushing it.
"Well, I'm betraying the clan and living with two betrayers.. how interesting..." He smiled. "This is going to be so fun!"

Ushio smiled big and laughed before running ahead. "Well come on then! We can live better as betrayers!" He laughed and kept running.
