He remembered his first day of class and how he was chasing after a rabbit before he had gotten to the academy. He didn't catch it but one day he would.
He smirked at the thought as he took a second look at the seal. He placed his hands together to form the seal. He placed both of his hands in fist and then placed them together horizontally so that his knuckles touched. He then turned his right fist 90 degrees so that his nails were facing his chest. On his left hand he extended his pink while at the same time on his right hand he extended his pointer finger and erected his thumb. He then slid his pinky between the two and compared his seal to that in the book. He was pleased to see he had correctly made and seal. This made him feel one step closer to reaching his goal of catching that rabbit.

He looked at it and realized that it was one of the coolest looking seals. He placed his hands together making sure to interlock his fingers. He then erected his thumbs and keeping them together and touching, and then lowered his little fingers making sure they stayed together and touching. He then compared his seal he made to that of the one in the book and although it wasn't the best it go the job done.

He was suprised to see that it was just the dragon seal with all of his fingers interlocking. With that he combined his hands, interlocked his fingers, and instead of the the knuckles pointing away from his chest they were now pointed up at his chin. He looked that the page one last time to confirm and after noting he had did the seal correct he released the seal.

He looked at the sign, horse, and wondered who came up with it. He wondered who came up with all of the seals. He figured he would ask once he was finished.
He placed his hands together so that instead of like with the dragon and snake seals, fingers on the outside of the fist, they were now on the inside of the fist. He then slightly pulled them apart so that the joints, after the knuckles on the fingers, were aligned. He then took his two pointer fingers and maked a triangle with them. He placed his thumbs, bent, on the lower sides of his pointer fingers before he compared the seals. He had made the seal perfectly.

He looked at the ram seal and then placed his hands together so that his ring and pinky finger on his right hand were covering the pointer and middle fingers on his left hand. He then erected the thumb, pointer, and middle finger on his right hand so as to finish the seal. He compared it to the seal in the book and noticed it was good. He was almost finished.

He glanced over the seal quickly not taking in the details and tried to make the hand seal. He placed on hand on top of the other so that the palms met. He then compared the seals and realized that he had gotten it wrong. He knew his luck would be up soon but he didn't think it would be this soon. He sighed and looked up to see how the other guy was doing before going back to his own work.

He placed his palms together horizonally again and again felt as though he had done it wrong. He really was getting frustrated with the seal. He wished to be finished with the seals as soon as possible but by the looks of it that wasn't going to happen. He sighed as he took his hands apart and prepared to try again.

This time he paid attention to the details and immediately noticed what he had done wrong. He didn't see that his pinky and thumb were suppose to intersect. He slapped his hand to his forehead and the let it slide down before trying the seal again. He slid his palms together horizontally this time letting his pinky on his right hand slide under his thumb on his left hand. He compared the seals once more and was happy to finally be past the monkey seal.

He knew he would have trouble with this seal. If he remembered correctly this was one of the seals that got him last time. He placed his hands together and tried to form the seal. Without taking a second look at the book he knew it was wrong. He dropped his hands and sighed lightly.

This seal had a lot going on with it and he had completely missed the mark last time. He tried the seal again. He started with the same base as when he did the horse seal with his fingers interlocked in his palms instead of on the back of his hands. He then shifted his hands so that his knuckles pointed towards his chin. Afterward he loosened the grip so that he could manuever his middle and little fingers on both hands to stand erect and then come together at the tips. Finally he placed his thumbs together.
He then looked at the book so that he could compare his seal to the one on the page. After looking it over he was happy to see he had did the seal correctly and was ready to go on to the next one. Hopefully the last two would go off without a hitch.

He looked at it and simply thought of the game paper, scissors, rock, with paper covering rock. He placed his right hand on the back of his balled up left fist. He compared the seal he made to the one in the book and it was perfect. "Only one more to go," he said quietly. With him nearing the end of the task he wondered what the teacher was going to teach next.

He smirked at having made it to the last page a lot quicker than he did last time. He looked at the seal and realized how simple it was. He balled up both his hands into fist and put them together so that the bottom of his palms touched along with the middle parts of his fingers. He then shifted his fingers so that instead of the middle parts touching his nails on each finger touched. He then rested his thumbs along the sides. He compared his seal to the one in the book and was finally glad to be finished.
After letting out a big sigh of relief he closed the book and raised his hand. "Finished," he said as he looked at the teacher.

When Masanori finally got the seventh handseal inprinted in his muscle memory - the joy of it all was overwhelming. But when acting like the smooth and cool person, he rewarded himself by growing a big grin on his lips while slowly flipping the page. Reaviling the hitsuji seal.

The hitsuji seal(ram) was looking as even of a more challenge than the horse, it's fingers was crossed and interviened in such a way that he knew, from the start, that this one was going to take som7e time. He moved his hands together and let them to slowly achive the posture that the book expected from him. He reapted it, but each time increaseing the speed of going from his hands by his side to the actual seal.

The reapting of the move didn't seem to end. Minutes passed and all he could do was to slowly moved his fingers to the wished posistion, but the pace was so slow that no jutsu could be preformed while doing it. And it bugged him. He had noticed that the other student, that had just entered, way at the same seal that he was, but he fixed in such a smooth matter that Masanori had to let his jaw drop alittle.

"10 minutes?! I've been sitting with this seal in 10 minutes straight?!" his eyes rested upon the clock on the wall, this one handseal had been taken up more time than any other seal. "Oh.. One day I will burn this very book from the shelf of the library.."

15 minutes passed and he was still at page 8, looking at the same picture over and over. It seemed as if tough his fingers couldn't really get into the posistion that they needed to be. It was something that blocked the way. "The thumb? No it's there... The pinky?.. No..."

"Finally," he said outloud when the pace, of completeing the seal, had risen. "I can feel that it just needs a bit more of practecing". He placed the fingers in the correct posistion, and said the name of the seal. But the seal wasn't fully completed in his mind. Just a few more minutes.

"And there!" his accomplishment was grande when he successfully timed the execution of the hitsuji seal and the announcement for the title of it. "Yes yes! Next page, next page!" the page slowly sifted it's weight and in a graceful fall landed softly on the other side, reaviling the...

Saru(monkey) seal. By the extreme level of difficulty of the last seal, Masanori's fingers had gained much more finess and movement controll. Making this move to be relatively easy. In a few tries he completed the seal while saying the name saru at an timed matter.

The next seal was tori(bird.) It was a pretty seal, his favorite one yet. His fingers was connected as they should be in the picture but still, the problem of doing it correctly was the same when he finished the hitsujin seal. He didn't do it quickly enough. Still he continued practicing it.

"Aha so here is where the ringfinger goes. Easy!" his happiness was cut to short since the boy a few seats next to him had just yelled "Finished" outloud in the classroom. It killed Masanori's spirit somewhat, still his training continued. Having no grudge at the person whatsoever, he doubted his own skills in learning matters. "Something I'll have to work on I guess"

"Inu. Secound to last. Just stay focus Masanori.." his selfmotivation speech helpt somewhat. The moved was easy, just placing a clenched fist under a open palm above it while saying "dog/inu" at the same time. A seal which he mastered in a matter of secounds.

The instant he flipped the page, he knew that he had to take a break. He had been sitting for more than thirty minutes just looking at people's hand gestures in a tiny book. He went to the same window he went to last time and took a breather, just trying to get some sense of peace before he continued.
