Well that kinda sucks. So you only get to play as Zero Suit Samus on the offchance that you get the Smash Ball? What if she's really awful? Then will Samus players dodge getting the Smash Ball and take the pain the other player gives to them?

Meta_Fish Well that kinda sucks. So you only get to play as Zero Suit Samus on the offchance that you get the Smash Ball? What if she's really awful? Then will Samus players dodge getting the Smash Ball and take the pain the other player gives to them? Maybe Samus's smash is way more powerful than all the others to balance it all out.

Awesome. Don't tell me some of ya'll thought they just put it in the trailer for no reason. Just about everything in the trailer means something that incorporates into gameplay.
I'm pretty sure that's not the only way to become ZSS though. It should be just a separate way in case you need some help or Full Suit Samus isn't working for you. They wouldn't just shovel in a character for luck of draw gameplay. Nintendo showed ZSS in the first trailer, the very first trailer. She was known to be in the game for longer than the veterans were. Whenever Sakurai makes an update, he laves things out, just to leave us on the edge. The only other final smash for Samus I could think of would have something to do with Samus's Corruption mode.
I do understand the worrying of people avoiding this final smash, not wanting to turn into ZSS, but hopefu the smash ball will limit it's numbers in battle to a few and we already know you will have the option to turn them off. Zero Suit Samus will be selectable and if she isn't, I will give everyone in the last 5 pages 500 gold. Srsly
It would be cool if you could somehow vary the intensity of a final mash by holding 'A' or tapping it quickly and repeatedly to make it powerful or tapping it slowly or pressing it softly to make it weak-If if were a direct or projectile attack that is-that way you wouldn't have to lose the suit.....Hey, I can dream can't I?

Sounds interesting. o_o Makes it sound like that blast is that much worth it.
Maybe good if you're about to die anyway? =O Assuming she'll have her armor back on when she respawns.. I just hope that ZSS will be fun to play as.

i beat if you just want to use zero suit samus all you would have to do is hold start when you pick her.
much like if you want to start off as sheik if you use zelda.
anyway if that is so, i wonder what zero suit samus's final smash would be
