Ami placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed lightly, or at least he assumed he thought it was light but the woman had a vice like grip. Still he smiled and nodded at her, not having to say aloud what they were thinking. She wasn’t exactly good at expressing her feelings, she was better at beating them into submission. Etsuya decided to spare her so he changed the subject to the next technique he would be tested on. “I think that now I’d like to do the Substitution Technique, I know that I’ve don’t it a lot in the past and should have it mastered but I see no reason that I shouldn’t do it now for you just in case. You know, to make sure that I remembered all the training you hammered in.”

Ami laughed and nodded at him. Then they decided to get into their usual position to perform the technique. Ami had made this technique a bit harder on him than most teachers would. To be fair it didn’t start with kunai hurtling at Etsuya’s head, it was initially just sharp rocks. None the less they had always hurt if they impacted him directly between the eyes and Yutomi-sama proved to be an excellent shot every time. What Etsuya had to do was switch places with a stump or something around him just before the kunai or rock hit. If he didn’t push it as long as he could Ami could correct her throw and hit him in the new location; he had found that out the hard way.

Etsuya spread his feet out slightly as he looked at Ami standing roughly twenty feet from him. She twirled a kunai absentmindedly between her fingers as she waited for Etsuya. She was being patient, a rare change, likely because Etsuya hadn’t done this technique in a while and using a kunai could be dangerous. Still, he noted, she wasn’t being patient enough to start out with something other than a bladed weapon. But after a few seconds Etsuya looked her in the eyes and nodded firmly, ready to perform the technique.

Ami grinned wide and hurled the kunai at Etsuya. He kept his face calm as it flew at him, another thing he noticed, she wasn’t letting up at all this was about as fast as she could throw it. Etsuya decided he had no more time and he performed the hand symbols quickly before uttering the phrase that triggered the jutsu. The kunai impacted in his chest, he was knocked back, but then a sudden puff of smoke wrapped around him and the kunai was lodged in a log instead. Etsuya smiled up in a tree, turned out he hadn’t lost his flair for the dramatic. Then, probably just to show him up, Ami threw a kunai into the branch just beside his head, “Come on down now, we don’t have all day.”

Ami walked over to the tree where Etsuya was sitting and pulled her kunai from the branch. She then nodded for Etsuya to join her on the ground, so he hopped off the branch and walked over to her. Then she began instructing him as to the next part of his testing, “I believe that for good measure we should make sure you are comfortable with the Henge no Jutsu. It’s a simple one I know, one of the most basic, but it’s amazing how few people underestimate it because of that. As long as you know when to use it of course, for instance don’t copy someone’s best friend, copy some random person from their village and a mark will never know you are tracking them. In fact there’s a good question, why should you never copy someone’s best friend with the Henge no Jutsu?”

Etsuya considered this for a moment. Ami had at one time been in the Anbu, but she stepped down to Academy Instructor after some instance that she preferred not to talk about and Etsuya had never forced the issue. She enjoyed pushing these little hypothetical situations on him, asking him questions about situations he might run into but probably never would. He considered it for a moment and answered, “Because they would know more about their best friend. They’d be more likely to see small things wrong with the personality and appearance so you would put yourself in danger of being found out. Someone they didn’t know except maybe glances in the street, they’d never see anything out of place in.”

“That’s very good, more or less dead on. But the general knowledge is one thing, accomplishing the task set in front of you is quite another. So go ahead and copy me, I want it to be a good copy mind you I know what I look like,” Ami said.
Etsuya nodded and focused on Ami’s face, he knew what she looked like more or less. Training with the same person over years will do that, but it didn’t help to make sure you had the smallest touches down well. After a moment of concentration he performed the hand symbols, channeling his chakra and said the phrase. Smoke wrapped around his body and when it cleared another Ami was standing there.
“It’s not perfect, the eyes are a bit off but eyes are always the hardest thing to mask. Let that be a lesson to you. But all and all it’s a good copy. About time to move on though, what next?” Ami asked.

Etsuya considered for a moment, he ran through the list of jutsu and skills that he wanted to learn by the time he graduated from the Academy. They had already practiced them all really. He turned to Ami and said, “That’s all I really wanted to learn I think. I mean we’ve don’t Water Walking, Tree Climbing, Art of Substitution, Henge no Jutsu and I don’t want to do Bushin since I can make Cloud Clones already. So what else is there really left for me to practice at? You’re running this test Yutomi-sama, what do you propose we do next to finish up my test?” Ami thought about what he said for a moment before saying, “Yes I agree you are just about done but I have one more task in mind. Sparing with one of my Cloud Clones. Since its cloud it won’t be up to attacking you head on but you will be able to disperse it. Do so three times and you pass. Now, go!” Ami did a simple hand seal with one hand and a clone appeared to her side. Etsuya didn’t waste any time he charged at Ami as if he was going to attack her then swung his nodachi out of its sheath. Then just at the last moment he changed directions and sliced the clone in half. [1/3]- - - “Oh come on that is cheating! These aren’t the smartest clones after all Etsuya,” Ami half laughed as her clone reformed and she watched from the sidelines. She hadn’t actually moved when Etsuya charged at her, apparently not worried. “Didn’t you always tell me to cheat whenever possible Yutomi-sama?” Etsuya responded with a grin. All Ami could do was laugh and nod. Etsuya then focused on the newly reformed clone. He noticed a kunai lying by his foot and he reached down to pick it up. Before standing up he hurled it at the cloud clone. The clone easily dodged and stuck out its tongue but Etsuya just grinned. Then suddenly the kunai was on the ground where he had been. He had used the Art of Substitution to switch places with the kunai as it flew behind the clone’s back. He swung down and once again cut the clone in two. [2/3]- - - Etsuya smiled and ran to pick up the kunai as the clone started to reform itself. And as it did so he created two cloud clones of himself. Each one had a kunai in hand and he set them up on three sides, equidistance from Ami’s cloud clone. All through the kunai at the same time and used the same basic principles as before. The clone was somewhat prepared for what happened and it managed to dodge the first kunai and the clone’s sword that swung at it. The second kunai it also dodged with a bit more difficulty but the sword hit it; but the sword did nothing to it. This seemed to confuse it, and then it realized that the sword was that of one of Etsuya’s cloud clone and couldn’t hurt it. But the time it took to figure this out was all Etsuya needed to get behind the clone and impale it with his nodachi. “I’m quite proud of you; you were deceitful, used apparently overwhelming odds to trick your opponent. It’s a shame that you’re parents want you to be a diplomat. I still say you could do whatever you want. It was a pleasure to train you all these years Etsuya and I hope that you will visit me and tell me about the many great things you are sure to accomplish. From today on you are an Academy Graduate,” Ami said placing her hand on his shoulder. [3/3][Practice: Sparing]

Gin slumps in his chair waiting for class to end. He was sopposed to meet his brother,Yusuke at the ramen shop at 2:30 it was 3:00. his brother was going to kill him.he was thinkng so hard about the ramen shop he fazed out and didn't here iruka constant yelling,"Gin,Gin are you there?!" Gin fnnaly snapped out of the trace. when he agnolaged Iruka everyone was histerical laughing. Iruka was laughing also laughing he told Gin to come down to do the substituion jutsu. gin jumped all the stairs and landed gracefully trying to make up for trace. he breathed in and breathed out and made a sign saying substitution jutsu. he poofed appering into him self. Iruka snickered. gin glared and him bringing chakra around hm trying to threaten him. he made another hand sing and poofed turning into a log for a nanosecond turning back into himself.he sighed and looked up at eveyone staring at the girl he like smirking at her and said "ill do this justu or my name isn't Gin No Kaz!" he made a hand sign cheesing art of substituion! he didn't even poof. a student mummered i guess you are Gin No Kazi. Gin threw a kunai at him shut up now. bringing his head up with the sharigan in his eyes. a bunch of peoplke were laughing. i was dead silence for a while then gin poofed leaving a log. he was nowere to be seen. he ran.

Shado looks about the classroom, oh how he hated being here. People always misunderstood him in class and not only that they were annoying. The only person that he allowed to give input was the teacher.
"Alright class to the front." said the teacher.
Shado gave a smug look hitting his desk in frustration. He hated to work with others.
"Alright time to learn your first basic jutsu. Kawarimi no jutsu(substitution jutsu) is a jutsu that allows one to replace an object and by casting an image of yourself on that item to trick your enemies. This helps you take them by surprise giving you the advantage." said the teacher giving a bit of a grin as he showed the hand signs and replacing himself with a log that was conveniently placed in the room.

Shado's eyes widened in amazement, what an awesome jutsu. He watched eagerly taking note of the hand signs. Flashing them himself he tried using the jutsu, and of course failed. "This was only the first time..." he thought to himself, as if to reassure himself that he could get it on the next try. His eyes quickly shot back to the teacher to see where he may have messed up and correct the mistake. Where could it have been? he wondered, finally coming across the problem. He misjudged the amount of chakra needed and didn't put enough in.

Shado looked over the teachers actions once more studying him as if he were a text book. He watched everything from hand signs to the actual use of the jutsu. He watched the kids try and do it, yet again. He walked up again this time more eager than ever. He had his mind set on it. Giving a nod to his teacher he flashed the hand signs perfectly, but messed up on some of the basics, yet again he had failed, though this only bore more determination. He wasn't going to quit now, not ever.

"Alright class back to your seats... We'll try it again tomorrow." said the teacher to the class, with a look of disappointment.
Shado gave the teacher a shocked look. He wasn't ready to quit not yet at least. Shooting a gaze of determination he walked up to the log yet again "No... I'm not ready to quit." he said to the teacher flashing hand signs as the teacher gave a grin to him. "Alright here I go!" he said finishing the hand signs. Everything was perfect from the hand signs to the basics, such as how much chakra was needed. "Yes..." he said with a sigh.
"Way to go Shado." the teacher said giving a nod of approval, the class staring in amazement. Shado had finally succeeded.

Bushin no Jutsu
Shado walked into the room, taking his seat in his usual place. He couldn't wait, because today was the day he learned his favorite technique, Bunshin no jutsu. He trained hard all through the weak finally learning Kawarimi and mastering it. Now it was time for him to learn another jutsu to get him ready for life as a ninja. A big grin appeared on his face as the teacher finally walked into the room.
"Alright everyone we have a special technique being learned today. Bunshin no jutsu, or clone jutsu." the teacher said as he took role call quickly to get things underway. "Bunshin is a technique in which one makes clones of themselves to trick the enemy. Unlike most clone jutsu these ones can not attack, but they are dangerous when used correctly. So pay attention!" the teacher said looking at all the trouble makers in the class who seemed to sink into their chairs.

"Alright class, let us continue." the teacher said as he walked to the front of the room "Pay close attention to the hand signs." the teacher said giving off very few hand signs. Two clones appeared at his side looking exactly like him. Oohs and ahhs fills the room as the class stared in amazement. "Alright everyone to the front." the teacher ordered.
Shado quickly jumped out of his seat very eager. His eyes lit with inspiration. Coming up to the front where the teacher was he stopped to wait through the line of students. "Alright I can't wait!" he thought to himself as the line began to dwindle. All the kids were heading back to the line, meaning they had failed. Finally he reached the teacher. He quickly flashed the hand signs and focussed. A poof of smoke appeared and two pathetic clones appeared at Shado's sides. He had failed, but this didn't mean he was going to quit, he just wasn't ready for that. Instead he began to walk too the back of the line yet again.

Shado watched the line start to dwindle yet again some had finally passed, but most had failed yet again. This made Shado even more eager to get it right. He looked over what he did wrong and looked at ways to fix it as he reached the teacher. The kid before him had failed and walked back to the line.
"You ready this time Shado?" the teacher said giving him a look that said I know you can do it.
Shado gave the teacher a thumbs up as he made the hand signs and focussed. His close began to blow as he focussed his chakra to almost the point of perfection. "Alright her I go again!" he said as a poof of smoke appeared. Two perfect clones appeared at his sides and not only did he get his clones right, but Kuroi that was being held in his jacket was perfectly copied as well. Giving a satisfied grin he walked back to his seat. He had finally learned the jutsu.

Shado walked into what seemed to be a ninja gym class. How strange it was. Tons of equipment was laying everywhere from weights to medicine balls. This came as a bit of a shock to Shado. It was amazing to him. He knew nobody could leave this gym without feeling the burn and that is just how he liked it. A grin appeared as the teacher walked into the room.
The teacher, having finally come into the room looked about the group of kids and gave roll call. "Alright, listen here today you will be running laps and playing tag." he said, this of course made the kids excited. They get to play during this class sweet! "Yes you'll be playing games in this class, but!" said the teacher stopping to create a dramatic pause. "You'll be wearing these..." He said throwing a nearby student a pair of training weights which, in turn, cause the kid to topple over from the sheer weight. "God on strap up!" he said as the class began to put on the weights. "These weights will help make you faster than you opponents." the teacher said with a laugh as the kids began to groan.
Weight running (1/3)
Shado strapped on the weights quickly, man they were heavy he thought. Standing up he looked at the rest of the class. Even the stronger kids were having a hard time with the weights. Lifting his leg he found it slamming back into the ground almost immediately. How can you play tag in these!? he thought to himself, not being one to criticize the teacher. Standing at attention he waited for orders from the teacher.
"Outside you go." said the teacher as he pointed at the door "Give me five laps and then you'll play tag." he said, but suddenly yelled out "Oh and when you play tag I'm going to be part of it and Shado your it." he said.
Shado stopped dead in his tracks, which was only a mere to steps. Now worried thoughts raced through his mind. Will I be able to catch anybody? he thought to himself as he began to run off outside. Of course he was hardly at running pace, but still trudging along. The weights seemed to be getting lighter to him, but the others seemed to be a bit out of shape and having trouble. Faster and faster, lighter and lighter the weights became until he finally found himself almost running at his old speed. I'm going for the teacher... he thought to himself as he finished his fourth round and finally his fifth, in which he was about just as fast as when he began. Now it was time for the game.

"Alright, Shado you're it. Everyone else keep away from him or he will tag you." the teacher said giving a grin "Oh and don't forget I'm part of this game to and guess what? I'm not wearing weights." he said giving a laugh as he whistled as if to say let the games began.
Shado watched while everyone sped off, but he stayed in place looking for where the teacher was. "There you are..." he muttered as he sped off and most people know an Inuzuka's speed is fast as can be. Approaching the teacher little by little with a smug grin on his face.
The teacher gave a look of surprise seeing that Shado had finally become used to such heavy weights in such a little time "Amazing..." he said giving a bit of a chuckle as he notice Shado almost right on top of him. "I'm going to have to give him heavier weights than the others..." he said to himself trying to get out of Shado's grasp, but to no avail.
Shado noticed that he could catch him. His eyes glimmered a bit as that confidence showed. "Here I come sensei!" he yelled at the teachers as all the kids stopped in place. Quickly, in almost a split second, Shado had jumped actually over the teacher, tagging him on the back and landing in front of him.
The teacher laughed "Wow out sped by my own student. Way to go Shado and here." he said handing him a pair of weights that were twice as heavy as the others "Those are yours to keep." the teacher said giving him a thumbs up and a pat on the head.
Shado's eyes lit up as he was given the weights. Amazing he thought now I can finally push myself further than normal he thought to himself. Giving the teacher a grin Shado strapped them on, beginning to walk back into the academy, finally finished with his training.

Tree Climbing
Hisame Aisuame
Hidden rain
[1/6] Hisame walked into class and bowed to his sensei. She was wearing a long red cloak and an extremely wide brimmed hat, that cast a shadow over her whole face. Today's lesson was Tree Climbing. Run up a tree using only your legs and chakra. Easier said than done. They stepped outside and to the edge of a forest. An almost completely branchless tree was right in front of the boy. "Focus all of your chakra to the bottom of your feet," said his Sensei "and when they touch the tree, exert the chakra. Begin!"
[2/6] Hisame ran, full speed at the pine tree. Trying as hard as he could to plan out his moves carefully and still exert chakra. His foot hit the tree, and Hisame attempted to force out the chakra. The second foot on the tree, he forced out more chakra. He could almost feel his chakra trying to wrap itself around the tree, but he failed. The boy fell, just four feet from the ground, on his back. His teacher spoke up again. "Do not push so hard with your foot. You're basically pushing yourself away from the tree."
[3/6] With his sensei's words in mind, Hisame tried a second time. Running at the tree, instead of slamming his foot into the tree, he merely touched it and pushed down; scraping the sole of his shoe on the tree. His right leg came up now. And touched the tree in the same motion. Again he could feel his chakra wrapping around the tree, but again, he failed. Hisame slammed back to the ground, havign the wind knocked out of him. "Your posture is perfect. You need to focus on your chakra now," his teacher suggested.
[4/6] Hisame tried and tried again. each time falling on his back, knocking quite a bit of wind out of himself. He tried more chakra, less chakra, exerting chakra at a different time, and using more AND less chakra at different intervals. What more could there possibly be. By now he was incredibly tired out. Instead of attempting it himself, for a while he'd test it with other objects. Hisame pulled out some string, and wrapped it around the tree and tied it off; it slide down to the bottom. Obviously, his technique was getting him nowhere.
[5/6] Hisame tied knots and different points in the string, wrapped it around the tree several times, the whole nine yards. Nothing worked. The young boy pulled out a kunai and started playing with it, twirling it around on his finger. Suddenly, he had an epiphany! Hisame spun the knife once more, and stabbed it into the tree. And it stayed there. Hisame finally knew how he was going to do it!
[6/6] He started what he had hoped to be his last attempt. He ran top speed, at the tree. Same as before, scraping both feet along the tree. This time, instead of wrapping the chakra around the tree, he forced it into the tree. He felt totally at ease, running up the tree, stabbing it with chakra. Hi made it to the top, and grabbed hold of the single branch. He pulled out a kunai and shoved it deep into the tree. And there it stayed...

Yada left from his home village walking with his dragon it was to small to ride uppon although they were about the same size. Yada looked around as he absentmindedly looked around and tried to find something that wasn't very boring. Yada got to the docks of hidden heaven and took off from there to the academy. once he had gotten on the boat he took a seat as his dragon jumped onto the boat also. Yada was happy that he was able to go to the ninja academy now and especially because he got to bring his dragon with him, even if it is one of the things the clan does. Yada arrived at the ninja academy in high spirits as he was preparing to start his training which his family had already briefed him on what he would learn and what most of the techniques can do.

bushin no jutsu {1/3}
Carlos was doodling in his notes while Iruka Sensei was giving lectures about learning bushin no jutsu. Carlos had already mastered it and then Iruka walked up to me and said " Well since you seem to be overconfident of youself since you are doodling." Well "Carlos said, "I have trained with you a bunch of time and you know I learned it already. A bunch of kids behind me started to laugh and shouted "Teachers pet." Carlos turned and gave them a glare and then sighed "Well atleast I will be a official ninja soon while you guys remain little academy students."
bushin no jutsu {2/3}
Sensei pointed at those students to report to the front and made me sit back down. The three students had to do bishin no jutsu. The first one followed Iruka's hand seals but Iruka's clone came out perfect while te first kids came out like a discombobulated(sorry misspelled) clone. The second boy gave it a try and his was even worse it looked like a dead cow. Finally the third one gave it a try and well it was not very pretty at all. Iruka shook his head and said " If you guys appliad your self like Carlos you would loose the goggles and move on to ninja head bands. Although since you guys like to fool around then go ahead lose your privilage of being Konoha shinobi."
bushin no jutsu {3/3}
Carlos walked up to Iruka after the lousy attempt to do Kage bushin and asked "Let me show these baffons how it is done ok." Iruka nodded and said, "Well it would be nice for the class to see a fellow class member who has mastered Bushin no Jutsu so quickly." Carlos nodded and said " Well my uncle did ssay I was a child progidy." Iruka shook and said "just do the jutsu." Carlos was doing the hand seals when Anbu walked into the room and saw Carlos's wicked technique and applauded. The Anbu started talking to Iruka and while Carlos stared in disbeleif that he was actually noticed by an Anbu. From that moment on he decided he would join Anbu one day as the greatest member ever.

The class gasped in awe as they watched their Sensei walking up the tree.. Without using any hands. All he used was his feet. "Now class." Iruka started to explain, "All I just did was transfer my chakra to my feet. This is one of the most basic skills you will need to know in order to become a ninja. Chakra control." He smiles at the class. "In order to control your chakra, you have to concentrate." Groans and moans filled the air; Iruka knew that the word 'concentrate' was too hard on their ears. "Quiet class!" Iruka said trying to calm them down, "Concentration is really important. With out concentration, you will fail in a mission, or even lose your life. But thats only half of what you need in order to become good ninjas."
4/6 Tree Climbing
Ruikia's mind filled up with determination. She wanted it badly; to become a ninja. To prove to herself and to everyone else in her clan that she can be the best, even if she was blind. "Okay." Iruka's voice intruded into Ruikia's thoughts. "Now you try it, all you have to do is concentrate your chakra into your feet, then get a running start towards the tree. I dont expect you guys to get it on the first try." Ruikia nods her head and starts heading towards a tree. Even though she was blind, she felt like she could see. Ruikia knew a tree was only a few feet in front of her. "Concentrate my chakra." Ruikia said to herself, "Concentrate." She felt all the chackra goining towards her feet and started to dash for the tree. Ruikia felt the tree hit the bottom of her feet and continued to climb. Suddenly the bark under her feet cracked, forcing Ruikia to flip backwards and land gracefully on her feet. "Nice one Ruikia." Iruka said, "Your doing well, keep it up." Ruikia smiled a little bit. "I'm not giving up." She dashed for the tree once more.

Henge No Jutsu
Carlos was doodling in his books yet again. He peered over to the front of class and saw the class slacker. He was tied up in front of the class and Iruka made the whole class come to the front. Iruka shouted " Everyone has to do Henge No Jutsu again until this slacker gets it right.I was the last one. The first one were 3 slackers. He sighed since it was abvious that they would fail.
part 2
Just as Carlos exepected the first one couldn't even copy Iruka for their lives. The next one made Iruka look like a freakin' pig. As the line continued to shrink yet no one still did not get it right.Iruka's face was getting filled with anger. All the girls who were in the back sitting were staring at Carlos with amazement like Carlos was their idol. He just continued to advance on line.
part 3
It was Carlos's turn. He was so mad that they made him go last. He made a grin and made the hand signs. There was a huge puff of smoke all over the room and everyone waited until the smoke cleared away. When the smoke cleared no one could tell who was Iruka. The reason was because the perfect execution of Henge No Jutsu. Iruka congratulated me and said " Atleast someone got it right."
