Lt. Brookman
I want them badly, for those feckers I'd jump right back into 40k, I wanted a Krieg army for a long time now. Damn it, I hope that they come with some really good custom heavy weapon platforms, as their standard lasguns are of the primitive stamp, it would only be fitting for them to sport primitive support weapons as well.

Dare I say, squad based heavy stubber teams! whee

Krieg was my optimal guard army.
Sadly, they didn't have the models, so I didn't do them, turned to Chaos, who were my next favourite. Guard were just cheaper.

Depending on what degree of "ridiculously expensive" they are, my Traitors might become Death Korps.

32 quid for 10.
That's about 5 dollars per man.
Mind you, them mixed with the new Renegade Militia, you might be onto something.
32 for the Krieg, 9 for the Militia.

Would look very nice.

The Death Korp? Fecking amazing. I mean it.

I should of gotten those today instead of a Venerable Dreader...

Btw. Games Day was fun.

Death Riders will ride cybernetic horses with gasmasks and large Bretonnian like tabbards to protect them from harmful airborn agents. The death rirders are basic Krieg troops with nifty hunting lances.

I want to know what the grenadiers will look like. I'm pining for the crude plate armour outfits as worn by sturmtruppen of WWI.

Tallarn, both on Mukaali and horses and the Atillans on horses, who wear fur hats. Get glasses. emo

Okay, fuzzy sombreros. Happy? rolleyes

But anyway, is there a more cadian-style cavalry unit available, or will I have to chop up some models?

Cadians don't have cavalry as a standard, which means that you will have to convert. Dirt bikes come to mind.

Ophi converted some Cadian Roughriders I believe, you could ask her for ideas.

Alrighty. I'm thinking of taking some horses from the LotR range, and converting some Cadians, then.

NO! I remember when someone else did that. Don't buy the Lord of the Rings horses, they are too small. LotR has a diffirent scale to 40k. *whew* Just in time. sweatdrop

Go with WHFB, LotR is a slighty different scale, more realistic and not as "all's fair, Mr 7 Foot Marine."
Plus there's more horse heads for special characters etc.
