And another thing, there is really nothing about the gates that tells of a speed increase. 1st and third gates you gain stamina and chakra, 2nd is healing, fourth you don't feel pain, fifth stronger (maybe an argument for faster), 6th vision upgrade and seventh increased ability (possibly another argument for speed)

you have to remember that rock lee is insanely fast to begin with. i just skimmed through the manga pages that deal with the gaara rock lee battle. You don't even notice him open the 1st gate, the change is so small. third through fifth he does not move. the fifth he does get stronger, but people are still able to keep see his movements there is also the part that opening the seventh gate alone would has no cons, personally because of that, i don't believe that it should make you skills increase that much.

i would say that even opening the first seven gates, a fully mastered byakkugan and sharingan might keep up with its movements, but their bodies would not be able to move fast enough to block their hits, since sasuke was not able to block rock lee's techniques before the genin exam even when rock lee was not using the gates

I would say that the fully mastered kikuta gaze because it grants superhuman abilities may be able to react and block and dodge attack from the first seven being open, though they would not be able to see it, though blocking a hit from seven gates would probably cause broken bones, from the increased speed and strength, and a blow back effect and would have to use a sensory technique like chakra aura, nakagawa style, or feelings of ki to sense the technique.

And Nibi the speed demon and techniques that move faster than nibi may be able to move as fast or even possibly faster than than the technique since you have to remember that a demon is a powerful thing.

of course thats just me putting in my two cents but i think its fair, especially since rock lee was exausted after using the gates for a few moments to use a single technique and you can keep them many of them open for five turns here without feeling any strain.

With Gold's 48 hour time period of death from the chunnin exams do I have to wait 48 from the time that I post in the after life, or did I just have to wait 2 days and then post there and come back that same day?
