Too easy, Keegan thought, frowning a bit as his hand had closed around Helios' Pokeball.. Instead, he reached for Loki's Pokeball, releasing the Ekans. He slithered around a bit, tasting the air with his tongue, and hissing at the Paras.
The girl took a few steps back, looking a little scared herself, but the Paras didn't flinch. "Scratch it," she said softly, and her little Pokemon scuttled forward, ready to rake his claws across Loki's elongated body.
Keegan winced a little, shaking his head. "Uh, Leer," he said calmly, almost unsure of what to do. Loki lunged forward, his eyes glowing bright yellow as he froze the Paras in its tracks.
"Ekkansss!" it hissed sharply.
"Paras! I said scratch it!" the girl said, her voice climbing several octaves. The Paras shook itself off, and reached forward, delivering a sharp scratch to the end of Loki's nose. The Ekans cried out in pain, the victim of a rather well-timed critical hit.

"The kitten has claws," he commented, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "Alright Loki, let's show them yours. Poison Sting!" His voice became much firmer, and a grin had spread across his face. That familiar fiery feeling he felt in his gut began to simmer.
The Ekans reared back, opening his mouth and firing dozens of tiny pin-like needles towards the Paras, each striking their target. It cried out in pain, its trainer giving the same sort of cry. "Scratch again!" the girl cried, a bit of fear in her eyes as her Pokemon swiped at the Ekans again, a red mark much like the one across his snout appearing on his belly.

"That wasn't your fault!" Nina said. "You were completely brainwashed; there was nothing that you could have done!" She looked off to the side for a moment. "Giovanni needs to be permanently put out of comission so that he can never manipulate anyone like he has done to you, ever again."

Keegan's grin continued to grow as his Pokemon took the hit. "Let's try out that Sludge Bomb you just learned," he said, pointing a finger. "Go!"
Loki moved forward a few feet, looking as though he may be sick as he coughed up a massive wad of sludge, covering the little Paras completely with goo. It fainted almost instantly, the girl trainer crying out in fear. "Oh no! Come back Paras," she said sadly, looking at its Pokeball woefully. "Don't let him get away with that! Go Poliwag!" she called, releasing the tadpole. "Use your Hypnosis Water Gun Combo!" she cried, pointing at Loki.
"Poli!" The Poliwag cried, the swirl on its stomach moving in a hypnotic pattern. Loki was drawn to it, his eyes half closed in drowsiness before he was hit in the face by a forceful Water Gun attack. He flew back several feet, landing in front of Keegan who shook his head.
"Nice work," he nodded, recalling the Ekans in a flash of red. "It's your turn, Themis!"

"You honestly think I'm afraid of you? By yourself, you're nothing but a bug that needs to be crushed." Giovanni growled.
He slammed his fists into the mud. "That's not the point, Nina!" Kilik's eyes reflected the ground, then tears began to fall slowly. "It's not that I was brainwashed...It's that I was too weak to do anything about it." His fingers twitched, "And I let you get hurt. When I promised that I wouldn't!"

(The rain stopped awhile ago. X3)
"I never got hurt," Nina replied. "Look at me! I'm fine! I'm unharmed and I did what I came to do-- I got my friend back!" She looked around to Sabrina, Mike, Kasiya, Mitsu, and all the Pokemon that were still out. "And I wouldn't have been able to do that if it wasn't for them."

The girl before him gave a sort of 'What is that?' look as the Electrike appeared before them, a bit of static coursing over his body as he readied himself for battle.
“Quick Attack!” called Keegan as the girl had also asked for another Hypnosis/Water Gun combo, but Themis charged right up, slamming into the Poliwag with his head and sending it back a few feet, its Hypnosis failing although the Water Gun hit its mark. A bit of static seemed to flow over the Poliwag as paralysis took effect from the Electrike's Static ability, and Keegan grinned. This battle is mine.

Mike crossed his arms, looking over at Kilik. "Don't bother feeling sorry for yourself. You didn't do anything wrong, no need to add more stress."
Nitro decided that it was time for another flight as he took off, some grass and flowers getting blown away as the mighty Pokemon took to the air.

He looked up at Mike, then to Nina. "But...those Rockets...and the one that I shot..." Kilik pulled himself out of the mud, his knees covered in the filth, along with the tail of his coat. "You're sure they didn't hurt you?" he asked the girl.

”Poliwag! Hypnosis!” the girl trainer called, as Keegan took a step forward, a scary sort of grin spreading across his face as he ordered Themis to end the battle with a mighty Thunderbolt. The Electrike blasted out the burst of electricity, causing the Poliwag to collapse. Its trainer quickly called it back, holding her Pokeballs close to her. “You're a monster!” she screeched at him, and she turned and fled, sobbing as she made her way to the Pokemon Center.
“You wanted to battle me,” he shrugged, as the victorious Electrike pranced up to him, his stout tail wagging happily.

"Kilik, I promise you that I'm fine. Look here." after Nina finished speaking, she twirled around a couple of times like a spinning top, trying to lighten the mood. Kasiya would look funny doing this in that dress of hers, she thought to herself with a chuckle. "See?" she said after she stopped spinning. "Not a scratch on me." Looking over to her Pokemon that she still had out, she recalled them all, except for Sakura, who came running over to her. Nina picked her Pokemon up when it was close enough to her, and scratched its head.

Flareon and Koffing let themselves free from their Pokeballs. The two looked at their trainer, giving little barks and coughs to cheer him up. "Flareon! Flare Flare! Eon! Eon! Flare!"
"Koffing! Koffing Koff Koff Ing Ing Ing!"
Kilik looked at his partners and smiled slightly, rubbing his eyes with his sleeve.

Kasiya walked over to her friends, and held her hand out to Kilik. "It's good to have you back," she said, smiling at him. Ariel seemed estatic to see Flareon again, the Vaporeon circled him several times, her fin-like tail waving back and forth to show her excitement. Kasiya sighed, looking down at her dress with disdain. "I must have been really intimidating," she laughed, wiping the soil from her hands and knees.

Flareon jumped about happily upon seeing the Vaporeon. He chased the female Pokemon about, pawing at her gently. "Flareon!" it barked, waving his tail as well.
"They look really happy together," Kilik laughed, looking at Kasiya and smiling a little more.

Mitsu felt a bit off with everyone there knowing the boy but her. Karri turned to her and cocked her head to the side a bit. She gave a rather sheepish grin to Karri. Sorry, I don't know what's really going on Karri. I don't know the guy.
