Hi all. I'm new to the guild, figured if I said "hi" here, it'd work out better.
Anyway, I'll get a full profile for my character written up over the next few days and post it. Meantime, I can toss up some of the very basics. And, I've got a bit of a question as far as IC posting goes. I'm planning on running a foreign exchange student, so would anyone want to play host family?

And as for your question....I think it might work out best if you NPC'ed your own host family. Like, have them be there without them really being there at the same time, ya know? Think like in That 70s show, how Fez had his foreign exchange family, but you only saw them when/if needed. Also, keep in mind that your character is the star of the RP, not her host family. All NPC's should be used sparingly for best results....
Unless, you were planning on having your character side with either the X-Men or the Brotherhood later down the line, in which case Xavier or Mystique and crew would become your host family.
Am I making any sense? It's Friday...of course not. If ya need any help with working this out, feel free to PM me. I don't mind.

Yeah, that actually is the simplest way to manage things. I was more thinking of a way to conveniently set up a simple connection to one of the other PCs, but I guess it is a bit silly. Chances are, I will just NPC them.
Eventually, She'll probably side with one group or the other, assuming she's invited to look around and agrees with the respective ideology well enough.
Yeah, I understand you quite well.
Now...to figure out a way to introduce the poor kid IC. Let's see...I've read back enough to know the mall and a good area nearby is burning, and some other stuff going on somewhere.

Ok I’m trying to write my own book and I can’t think up names for my characters.
Ones a slightly emo-ish guy,
And the other is a smart-mouthed girl.
I can get the generic names easy; but help me please!

you're james a.k.a. logan a.k.a wolverine! you're tough, rough, & buff! lol. you can heal yourself instantly after any injury & can produce metal claws from your hands. on the outside, you may seem like a loner, but everyone knows you are a very caring person deep inside I got Xavuewr the second time.
