Lyn smiled at her cousin as she used the wet wipe at the table to wash off her hands and face before starting to eat her potato.
She'd run to the bathroom before they left. For the moment her shrinking bladder was holding, and she'd like to keep it that way a little while longer.
"Well that's settled. I'll help you find a stable. Do you know what kind of riding she's interested in? Western or English? When's her birthday? As she listened to him, Lyn nodded.
Of course Lincoln was right. All these men had survived a long while with out her. They didn't need her. In fact recently it had seemed the other way around. With everything that had happened since she moved back Lincoln,
Dereck and the rest of the Reapers had been her steady point and her wall of protection. With a soft sigh, and smile at her cousin, Lyn excused her self from the table,
"Don't go ordering dessert now without me."

It was as Lyn was washing her hands in the sink that she heard the door of the room open followed by a definitive click of the lock turning. Knowing whoever it was was bad new, she didn't look up or stop her movements.
Pausing in them only when she heard a voice.Well, lass, it's nice to finally meet you. And I see congratulations are in order." Looking up her blue eyes met the man had joined her in the bathroom in the mirror. She didn't know him, but from his accent her guess would be he was from the IRA.
Leaving the water run she grabbed a towel to dry off her hands; ignoring him all but for her ticked off blue eyed stare in the mirror. He closed the distance between them and placed a hand on the one of her's that was in the motion of thrown the paper towel into the trash hole between the sinks, "Now I don't want to hurt you, so come along nice like. That boy of yours will surely come around to our way of thinking once he knows we have you in our custody."
"I'm not going anywhere with you." She hissed before ramming her closed fist as hard as she could into the man's nose, hearing a crack, and lifting her foot just a moment later to connect solidly with the pair between his legs. Lyn then quickly shoved the man back with all her strength. Running to the door, she quickly unlocked the bolt and threw it open.

As she made a quick dash back to the table where Lincoln still sat, Lyn gathered money out of her purse as she looked over her shoulder for the man. Practically throwing the $80 in cash on the table without caring what the actual bill was and giving the waiter one hell of a tip, she grabbed Lincoln pulling him out of the booth as she continued her dash to the door. Still throwing glances over her shoulder, and that was not to check if her cousin was there.
"We gotta go. We'll get dessert elsewhere." She told him still having a tight grip on his hand as they entered the parking lot where she finished the mad dash to his car. Opening her door, she sat and buckled quickly, looking back towards the doors of the restaurant to see the man from the bathroom now coming out."Step on it Linc. Let's get out of here."

Lincoln was surprised that his cousin had come waddling at him full speed. He frowned but hurried with her. He slipped into his car, started it up and bolted from the parking lot. His seat belt forgotten for the moment.
"Who are we running from? Do I need to call in my boys?" He glanced in his rearview mirror.
"I hate running. I rather just face whatever it is head on." He kept driving though. Lyn was pregnant, and her safety and the safety of her children what were important. Not his silly little male ego.
"Are you in trouble? Something you're not telling me?" He risked a quick look at her before his attention returned to the road.
"Heading to the Club." Of course he meant the Angels' place.

He didn't wait for her response. He didn't care what she had to say, his Club had guns, men and most importantly his back. In about 15 minutes they were walking through the door to his Club.
"Kong, where is everybody? Think some s**t is going to go down."
"s**t did go down. Somebody set Ryder's house on fire."
"s**t! The baby is okay?"
"Yeah. Moira was there. She is okay too."
"You will be safe here. I promise. This news doesn't change anything."

"Told ya you loved them."She responded with a smile to his agreement about the pancakes. Her green eyes watched as he took off his leather and jacket. It was good to see him getting comfortable and being relaxed. A he agreed to a movie, she smiled again, "Whatever do you mean, Killy? The Sweetest thing is a classic. As is any good chick flick." She told him in a teasing tone. The movie she had mentioned was a good classic chick flick in the comedic sense. One she may have to share with Lyv; in another 10 years or so when the girl was old enough to be thinking of that. Although romantic chick flicks like the Notebook were good, Di preferred the comedic ones. They left a good feeling, but didn't make you want to cry!

Diana took a seat on the couch next to Killian, picking up the remote to turn on the TV. Turning quickly to the on demand section, she rattled off some titles that she thought may be of interest. Unpacked were mostly Lyv's video's. If Di watched TV without the girl, she chose usually to just watch the shows there were on instead of buying or renting a movie of her own. And all the old ones she did have from her teen years were packed in the garage she thought.
Men in Black, Dark Knight, Deadpool, Inception, Jurassic World... What you feeling your the guest? She asked turning to look at him as he stated it felt good to have his boots off. Frowning she told him, "If your shoes are that uncomfortable, I think it's time we get you a new pair. You're not wearing them for fashion, no sense to suffer for it."

She was glad her cousin hadn't asked questions until they were in the car and speeding off. All she needed at this moment was for his bravado to kick in. As they turned the corner of another street,
Lyn let out a breath, closing her eyes as she let her pounding heart slow down. She shook her head at her cousin,
"No,
I think we should be good now. "
She looked over her shoulder out the window again, and not seeing anything she turned forward again, hearing him mention they were going to the Angel's Clubhouse. Well time to see if she truly would be welcome there! "I'm sorry for the scare. It's nothing;jitters I guess." She told him. As much as Lyn knew she should tell him about the IRA, that was Dereck's s**t that he was taking care of.

As they arrived at the house, Lyn followed Lincoln in. Her blue eyes glanced at the entrance to the parking lot once before following her cousin into the house. She listened, shocked, at the news they were greeted with. Orion's house had another fire? Horrible luck that man had. At least it sounded like everyone was safe this time. Her blue eyes looked to Lincoln frantic as it sounded like he was leaving her. No Dereck said to stay with him, plus she didn't know how many friends she had in this house. Reaching out she grabbed his forearm,
"You're not leaving me here. I'm going with you if you're leaving. What s**t are you guys into that your Prez's house is being lit on fire again?" She asked in a quiet tone, not really needing to be thought of at the needy, noisy woman that didn't belong here, but hell she was. And she wanted to ensure her cousin wasn't in some trouble too. Just then she felt a pain in her abdominal region. Her hand not holding onto Lincoln flew to her stomach as her eyes closed. All as if trying to stop or block out the sudden pain that only lasted for a minute or so. Slowly Lyn let go of her cousin and moved to a nearby chair taking in slow, deep breaths. She was way too early for labor. At the earliest that could start in about 11 weeks. .

"Men in Black. I like to laugh. As you know." He stretched out, spreading his arms along the back of the couch.
"They don't hurt. Just my feet are hot, and my boots are heavy." Killian glanced over at Diana and smiled.
"This is nice. Kid sleeping peacefully, puppy wandering about." He sipped his soda.
"Next time we can do this at my house. We can order Chinese, watch poorly dubbed Kung-Fu movies. You know how I love those!" The puppy walked over and plopped his head on Kill's lap. He chuckled and ruffled the pup's ears. The pup's eyes slowly closed as Killian continued to massage the pup's head.

Jasper looked up from his beer as Lincoln came barreling in asking where everyone was at. He himself had recently just got back to the clubhouse after picking Moira up and dropping the woman off at her house. Only at her behest did he leave her alone to return here to be with his brother's. Kong answered the question, and so he didn't have to as he raised the bottle to his lips. His blue eyes looked to the pregnant red head behind Lincoln. He briefly recognized the woman, but didn't really put much of thought or connection to as who she was. "Everyone's fine. Been taking care of until vengeance is due." He told his brother. Frowning he set his beer back on the bar top as the red head almost doubled over in pain, "She ok man?"
((Sorry a little lame here))

"Alrighty.."Di replied as she hit play and continued to make the purchase before setting the remote down as the movie began to play. She leaned back into the couch,
resting lightly against Killian.
"Suit yourself. Heavy is the head that wears the crown type thing, huh?" She asked in reference to his shoes. She understood he needed boots, and thus they would be hot. However she was sure not all man boots were heavy. But perhaps he liked them because they served as a metaphor for him with his work in the club. Diana smiled back at the man next to her, "Yes, I agree this is nice. Relaxing. Told you he missed you too." She agreed pointing as Tino set his head in Killian's lap. "We could certainly take the next sleep over at your place if you wish. Lyv would be excited for that. Loves that room you have for her." Di leaned over and let her lips lightly brush against his cheek. What was that for? Being a sweet man that he was. Pulling back she responded. "But I can't believe you still watch those horrible movies! They make little to no sense"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 15, 2017 7:57 pm

"Whoa! Relax! I am not going anywhere." Lincoln patted her hand reassuringly. "Promise." He glanced at Jasper then back to Kong.
"I wish Moira had come here. I just feel better when all our ladies are here where we can protect them. Then again...Moira is probably with Joshua..." Linc grew silent as he realized that his dislike for the main was evident from his tone. It wasn't personal, Linc just didn't trust the man. He after all the man had never been a father to his daughter, and she and her Mother endured many hardships because he hadn't simply manned up.
"Lyn?! Oh crap! Let's go! Hospital!" He moved toward his cousin and tried to help her to her feet. He looked concerned and looked back at Kong and Jasper. His eyes asking the question 'what do I do?!'. He hoped Kong would take charge. He knew about babies and labor. He was up to three kids now.

"I am really happy that she likes her room. That was a big project I undertook and went into blindly. I have no idea what little girls like. I just picked things that I knew I would never pick for my own room, and looked girly to me. The dollhouse was my favorite part really. I felt like that would be something really cool for her to have. No matter where you two go, you always have your home with you." He patted the pup's head one final time.
"Yeah, he missed me because I feed him all sorts of treats. Go lay down buddy. Late in your crate." The pup slowly walked off and laid down in his crate with his little blue blankie.
"I am crate training him. He got a bit of a shock when he was chewing some wires before I woke up on morning. He has days he accepts the crate and other days he won't have anything to do with it. I think being in the new setting has made him want to be in his crate right now. It is familiar, safe, and smells like home." He stretched out a bit more.
"They aren't horrible movies! They are awesome! Those guys are actual martial artists!" He playfully bumped her shoulder with his. He accepted her sweet kiss on the cheek without responding to it. He did not want to make her uncomfortable or feel pressured. He didn't want her to think he wanted a sexual relationship with her. The truth was he would be open to it, however he knew it was not that simple. There was Alyvia to consider, and very quickly it wouldn't only be about sex to him. He had feelings for this woman years ago, and he had buried them because he had too. He wasn't sure if he could keep them buried if things turned sexual.

He allowed his arm to slip down the back of the couch, and come to rest about her shoulders. He pulled her a bit closer to him. Pulling her against his side. He could smell her shampoo and realized it was a soothing scent to him.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

The music played as she laid across her bed on her back. Her eyes closed, and lips moving as she silently sang along with the music.
'Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am a shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all'

Music. The one constant therapy in her life. She wasn't sure she would be sa sane as she was without music. that was saying a lot because she knew she was not exactly sane. She knew it had been ages if ever since she had played with a full deck.

Her motto in life was always play the hand life has dealt you, even if that means you got to bullshit your way to a better hand. Play it to the very best you could. Make it work for you. She had never been one to simply accept anything. She challenged everything, fought everything. Losing battle or not, she would not, could not back down.

Hell that was probably why she was where she was. Broken. Her spirit nearly crushed, but still she was standing. She was alive. She had survived the very worst of what Ben and Black had thrown her way. Barely, but she was alive, free and still standing. That had to count for something.

She stretched out her hand and felt around for her phone that was ringing. Her music now interrupted by the phone call. She stared at the screen a moment. Just staring at the name and picture on the screen. Ethan. She sat up and answered.
"Hey Ethan..." Her heart skipped a beat. Ethan was the strong silent type. The authority in voice often made people follow his orders without question.
"I cancelled the show. I want your address. I am in town, and I am going to take you back. Take you away from this hell."
"Ethan..."
"You told me you didn't think you or your baby would ever be safe here. I am not going to take the chance. You have come to mean to much to me little girl." His tone was serious and firm.
"Killian will protect me. I will be okay. Ethan you know I can't. I was never going to stay anyway. I have to get away from this all. I need to protect her from this all."
"Killian can not do it alone. You said one of the Angels tried to kill you. Let that sink in. Your brother is the President of that MC and one of his men tried to kill you. He is losing control of his men. Killian can't go up against a whole MC alone. He is but one man." He ignored her protests. He was sure he could change her mind. Women were putty in his hands, he couldn't imagine Cadence would be any different. Cadence paused and allowed what Ethan had just said to sink in. She was endangering the man she owed her very life too. She would never allow any harm to befall him. She would die for him if need be.
"1412 Hawthorne Drive. Drive pass the house. I will meet you at the corner. My Mom might not like you being here."
"Okay. I will call you once I am there."

It was about twenty minutes later when Cadence received his call. She had changed and grabbed her larger purse. A side bag style that allowed her to pack some extra things. She quietly made her way downstairs, and out the front door. Her Mother and Archie were in the kitchen, she could hear them talking and her Mother laughing. She opened and closed the front door as silently as she could. Then she started down the street, she walked. Taking her time as not to drawn any attention to herself.

As she got closer she could see Ethan on his bike. For a moment it was like deja-vu. She remembered being a teenager and climbing out her bedroom window, and dropping down onto the lower roof that was over the kitchen. Next she would lower herself down the side and drop down. Once she was hanging down by her hands she was only about five feet above the grassy yard. So she would drop down, brush herself off and then creep along the side of the house and then run full speed down the street to meet Devil.

This time she had opted for the front door, seeing as how she was pregnant now. though in all fairness she had climbed out her window and dropped down into the yard while pregnant before. Only she had not realized she was pregnant at the time.

When she got closer to Ethan he tossed his half smoked cig away and handed her the spare helmet. She secured the helmet on her head, and then climbed on behind him.
"I don't want to leave here Ethan. I want us to go talk somewhere, and I want another lesson."
"Just tell me where we are going." Cadie slipped her hands around him. Her tiny hands splayed across her well defined abs. The man was extremely sexy and very much into her. It was too bad she had no sexual interest in the man. He was good looking, handy, witty, intelligent and sarcastic. All traits that she found endearing and appealing. She just had not interest in men currently.
"Shooting range. I will direct you."
"If you are staying...he needs to be dealt with." Ethan said in his deep voice.
"It's why I requested another lesson." She pressed her cheek against his back. The coolness of his leather immediately warming up against her flushed cheek. For a second she moved her hand across the fire and skull on the back of his leather before she moved her hands back around him. She gave him the directions and they were off.

The pair flew past her Father and Moira on her porch. Not long after they zipped right past the Angels' clubhouse and then the garage. She closed her eyes and willed all thoughts from her mind. She wanted only to live in the moment. Enjoy the ride. Feel the cold air on her face, and the vibrations of the bike under them, and of course Ethan against the front of her.

Ethan had become her replacement Killian. Somehow the pair had bonded and became friends. Unfortunately for her Ethan wanted a physical relationship with her. He understood why it wasn't currently possible, but it didn't stop him from wanting it.
"Let them come if they dare..." Ethan called back to her and then revved his bike. Ethan was not a man who feared anything. Fear just didn't register in his brain. He sped up and blew threw town. He wanted to lure out whoever wanted to hurt the fragile woman on his bike. Ethan would deal with them. As V.P. he knew he had plenty of men behind him. Men that he trusted and knew would do whatever he told them to do.

~Candie~

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Lyn shook her head as she continued to take steady breaths, "No, I think I'm ok. "Lyn sat holding out her hand to stop her cousin. She didn't want to rush to the hospital everytime something odd happened. Might be her first pregnancy, but she still wasn't found of those over clean places. And then it hit again. It was like her whole lower torso was seizing, nothing like when one or both of the twins was just punching or kicking out. Damn if this was a taste a labor, she might get kicked on her a**.

Reaching for Lincoln's hand to help pull herself up after the second wave hit, not lasting longer than the first. She could see Jasper holding his hands up at her cousin like he didn't know anything.
"Alright let's go check it out." She told him. Perhaps there was more going on. Although she really hoped there wasn't. Sure Grace's Thomas had been premature and he's fine now. But with two of them, Lyn was afraid one wouldn't make it. .

The woman smiled. "She loves them both. The room and the dollhouse. But just where do you think I'm going to move her now?" Di asked him. It was true if she wanted to keep her job she should be moving back to where they use to be. There was an office about three hours from Shadows Creek though that she could transfer too. Or she just ended that whole part of her life! Di wasn't too keen on moving Lyv again really. This was only the second move for the girl; the first having been when she was 2.

As Killian talked about crate training the dog, she watched the animal move back to lay in said crate.
"Probably a good idea then to give him such a comfort, and your piece of mind." As he bumped her shoulder and talked about the martial arts in the movies, Di smiled, "Oh yea they have as much real martial arts as Kung Fu Panda does. And that's a much more entertaining movie." Diana let Killian wrap his arm around her and pull him gently closer. She could feel his heat and smell the familiar smell of his leather, smoke, and soap. It was a comfort she had long forgotten about to have him so close.

"I will let you guys know what is going on." He said as he carefully ushered his cousin out the house. He glanced back once more at his friends. Silently pleading with them to go with him. He was afraid. He had no idea what to do when it came to birthing babies. He wasn't sure what questions to ask the doctors, or how to calm his cousin.
"You want to call Dereck on the way? Have him meet you at the hospital." He opened the car door and closed it behind her. Then he moved swiftly around to his side of the car.

He drove quickly to the hospital. Not bothering to put the music on. He took the most direct way to the hospital and lead her right in through the Emergency Room entrance. He walked her straight to the counter.
"Excuse me, my cousin is pregnant and I think she is in labor. It is too soon though. they aren't due for several more weeks." The nurses came out and immediately pushed her away in the wheelchair they had helped her into.

Killian looked over at Diana seriously. "Diana, I understand you only came here because of a case you were working.. Your career keeps you moving, going from place to place. There is nothing you can do about that. It's just the nature of the business you are in." He rubbed her arm lightly.
"I also know Shadow Creek is never where you wanted to be. You always wanted out of here. Wanted bigger and better things. You got them, and you are not about to trade it all back for the life you ran away from already." Killian pulled her arm away.
"I understand, and I am not taking it personally. You need to do what is best for you and her."

He shifted on the couch and reached for his drink. He had not meant to get into such a touchy conversation with her. In fact he had not wanted to have this conversation at all. He had hoped if they never discussed it, it would just never be a thing they had to face. Silly but that is what he had hoped for.
"Kung-Fu Panda..." He scoffed before sipping his soda. He was hoping to steer the conversation back into safer topics.

Lyn followed her cousin out of the clubhouse and back to his car. As she sat and waited for him to come around to the other side, she once again felt another 'contraction' although this one didn't seem as bad or as long as the last two. Maralyn shook her head as Lincoln mentioned calling Dereck. If it really was something, she'd have Linc call him from the hospital, but otherwise, Lyn felt it better he concentrate on what he was doing currently. Her cousin might be right that Dereck had survived without her and become President of his club on his own, and so didn't need her looking over his shoulder. However that also meant that he wouldn't need her calling him every 5 seconds with some emergency. Especially if it didn't turn out to be anything.

The ride to the hospital held another 'contraction' type, but once again it was less intense than the first two. She was about to tell Lincoln she didn't need to go into the ER, but Lyn knew it wasn't time to argue with him. He was probably right that this was where she should be and he was worried. Soon after the entered, nurses came with a wheel chair and pushed Lyn away from Lincoln.

About an hour later, Lyn was getting wheeled back out to her cousin with a cup of water in her hands. She smiled at her cousin,
"All good, cuz. These little buggers are staying in a while longer."She told him as the nurses left her chair near him. Standing slowly from the chair, she said,"I'm cleared to go if you're ready. Apparently I was having what they call here Braxton Hicks contractions. They are fake contractions since I was slightly dehydrated and had high anxiety. But look they are all fine."She told the man next to her showing him a picture from the ultrasound that had just been printed after making sure all was good. .
