Elliot watched the woman aim the thing at Ipo making him feel very uncomfortable, especially if it was a small cannon. Opening his mouth to say something the small weapon roared, hurting his ears which flattened against his skull leaving silence. He couldn't hear nothing except a high pitched ringing. He stook there, Guinevere suddenly in the air before the silver eyes turned to Ipo who was holding his shoulder, Kashi beside him and looking at the wound in a panic.

The president smiled. "Who do you think gave it to Reta?" she asked, "But they were doing things not on the plan, very bad things. We saw it coming but gave them the benefit of the doubt. When they went along with their plants we destroyed them all along with any means of creating them. Would you not prefer Nalaenir to have this weapon instead of Reta?"

"You'll be okay, brother." Kashi said softly. "it went all the way through, you just need to stop the bleeding." and took off his scarf, pressing it against the wound. "We'll get you to a healer later."

Annabelle turned to Nix as she stood up. "N-No wait! We can't leave during class!" and followed after her, her sister's following.

"But what was that? Was it a cannon?" Martha asked.

Emily shook her head. "I don't know, but it was scary. Scary and loud, like the gods were punishing us."

"First thing is first, we need to find Leo and brother." Annabelle ordered.

Alvaro jumped at the noise, looking around just as shocked as Lewis before holding the man close. "I don't know. I don't know, Lewis. She has brought us a demon, no doubt."

The ringing in Elliot's ears was finally ebbing away, mind able to refocus before looking at Leo, walking to him quickly and falling onto the ground beside him. Ipo was bleeding too much, Tsume had the president by the neck. "Leo," he whispered, pressing his cold hands to his face. "Leo look at me. Are you all right? What's wrong?" he asked, forcing the Falian to look at Elliot who was just as pale.

Guinevere smiled at the wolf. "It's all a game, wolf. Don't hate me, just the game." she could feel him shaking and she reached out, resting her free hand on his arm. "Because, I have opened a country which was isolated and have them allied with the most powerful country in the north. I am playing with civilization, I have made this country go from a small farmers town to a super-power. "If you kill me, my nation will set fire to the country which has given you a new life, and you can not put out heaven's flame." Her other hand raised, aiming the gun at his head. "So tell me, then, who is faster?"

"Thank you, brother." Ipo murmured, pressing the scarf to his shoulder before looking up. "President,"
"President Guinevere! Please don't aim that at him!" Kashi said, paling. "Please, please don't hurt him. And Tsume, please put our president down!"

Annoyance flashed across her face before it returned to the smile. "What have you done to my hare, mongrel? He never speaks out of turn." and slid her finger over the trigger.

Elliot didn't know what to say, he didn't understand, and that sound, that terrible, awful sound. It was war, death, that is all it sounded like to him. A god of war. "It'll be okay, Leo." he said softly, clinging close to the man. "It'll be okay. We'll be fine. They're on our side." he could not return the gift, that was not part of the game. "They're on our side." and found himself trembling in fear, thankful that Nix came, his sisters trailing behind.

"Brother!"

"Tsume! "

"Mr. Ipo!"

Annabelle ran toward the Ipo while the Martha stared at Tsume and Guinevere, locked with murder in their eyes. It was Emily who ran toward her brother, clinging to him, feeling his fear. "Brother what was that noise?"

"Tsume don't let anyone die! Put her down!" Martha yelled. It was scary, it was too scary. What was wrong with the world?

"Mr. Ipo, we need to take you to a healer."

"I'm sorry, Anna," he gave a painful smile. "I am not allowed to leave until I am dismissed."

Alvaro stroked the pink-tinted hair on his lover's head. "No one does, my love. No one does. A false god is more frightening then a true god."

Guinevere smiled, pulling back the hammer. Nothing around her really made her take notice until her hand refused to pull the trigger. "Oh, Oh this is so glorious." she said, laughing as her hand opened on it's own. "Those heirs will be so powerful. What a good seer you are, Kashi. Oh your mind is so beautiful to see these things." her smile faltered. "Your mind is awful, Kashi." she said, wings opening to help her catch a millisecond of air, giving her enough time to land on her feet. She smiled, flexing her hand before adjusting the bed sheets on her being. "You look powerful, Falian prince. You're frightening your already shocked husband. It's hard to be accepting when the brain is in shock." she said. "And I'll leave, but I can still talk to your husband without you being around. I'll be gone tonight, I need to talk to my hares. Thank you for healing him, I suspected you would. I saw what you did when the prince went to check on the drought. You're very easy to manipulate. You should get those emotions in check like your husband." and turned away. "Come along, boys. We've some discussing to do."

The triplets backed away from Guinevere, Annabelle turning to check on her brother who clung close to her before holding her in his lap. "Brother?" she whispered, touching his face. "Brother you're freezing."

Martha moved closer to the thing being held by ice. "Is this what made the noise?" and gently touched it. "What is it?" because whatever it was it frightened her.

"This isn't magic, then?" she asked, tracing the shape. And it killed a lot of people. How many? Leo had spoken to the winged woman and said friends, family, lots of bloodshed, all because of one little weapon?

"Leo," Annabelle said as she looked up. "Leo, Brother's really cold."

"His nails are turning blue." Emily said, "that's not good. Elliot, Elliot we need to get inside.

The prince allowed his sisters to help him up, not looking at Leo. "Yea, the babies need rest. The twins." and nodded, rubbing his face befre the back of his neck, unaware of the cold but his body was moving a bit slower, wanting to retain its warmth. "I'll walk you inside."

"Oh, it's so warm in here!" Kashi, I'm cold."

"Yes ma'am." and took off his jacket, allowing her to wear it. "Have you been sleeping well?"

"Oh, the Kaspian meeting room." She murmured, looking around the place which was colored with shades of shades of white and gray. "Our own little embassy in the capitol of a country." and smiled before leaning against the desk. "So you saw yourself die? How?"

Ipo tensed from where he stood, ears raising. "I hear a guest."

"Well then let's wait until he's here. Both of you are allowed to sit." And opened the door, peeking out before spotting the puppy. "Come here, doggy. You have been invited into my embassy."

"Good. Kashi, this is your friend, correct?"

The hare nodded weakly, black ears as limp as a wet rag, jawline tense and brown eye on the floor.

"Spledid. I always loved a good game." and looked at Tsume with glittering eyes. "I'm surprised he ever got any, Ipo has always overhshadowed him like a good hare." and stroked Ipo's hair loviingly, though he did tense as her fingers brushed aside his bangs and touched the bandages. "So tell me, wolf. What do you know about my hares? What has our dear sweet Kashi told you?"

Elliot stayed close to Leo, brain wrapping around the current events before realizing he was in his room without Leo and just the girls. "Where's--"

"Brother she went to rest in silence. Plus you're cold to the touch." Emily nodded. "I'll go get some coffee."

"I'll tell the chef to make hot food." and Annabelle followed after Emily leaving Martha who stood there awkwardly.

"I'll um, do something." and exited, though after a quick look around the tomboy actually went to Nix's room to check on Leo. 'Mr. Leo?" she asked, walking in and closing the door. "Are you all right? He doesn't hate you. He's probably just really scared. Elliot always said you shouldn't be alone when you're scared. You should go back to the room."

"Oh but then that's no fun. Fine then. I'm sure you know that Kashi is the original and Ipo here is nothing more then a doll, though a rather well made one. He bleeds just like you do, eats like you but he is a copy of our hare right there. Take off your bandages, Kashi."

The hare glanced up before moving his bangs behind his ear and removing the bloodied bandages, letting them fall onto his lap to reveal a red eye socket, no longer bleeding but having dried blood all along the inside and where he'd cried.

"As you know, my country is far, far ahead of this world's technology, and our magic is quite powerful. We control the skies. But Kashi saw the downfall of my utopia so we punished him by removing his vision. It wasn't hard. just pop a finger in and pull out a prize." and smiled, watching the hare almost tremble at the memory of the pain, the white-hot pain. "But while he was being healed I realized it'd be such a waste of a seer's eye, so we created Ipo from magic and science, fixed the eye and popped it right back in." she moved Ipo's bangs. "White magic has many loopholes, dark magic takes advantages of those." and removed Ipo's bandages, where his second eye should be was nothing but skin embedded with a magic circle. "A literal mirror image of the other, but he's a doll in a sense. Just a copy. So." her fingers ran over the spell, Ipo now visibly nervous before crying out as she ran her nails over it, braeking the skin and making him bleed. "You saw yourself die."

Kashi gave a while, holding his empty eye socket which was bleeding again, tears rolling out from the other one.

"So then, one cannot live while the other survives. Which hare is the better hare. Ipo is much more clever, but Kashi has a friend to hide behind." and smiled. "Ipo saw himself die, and while I am trying to change Kasp's fate, Kashi has never been wrong." she stood up, removing the sheets and properly stretching her wings. "I don't know how long it will take the spell to wear off, so I'd try to kill the other as soon as possible. Ta-ta, darlings." and exited the room.

Ipo held his face before turning a rage filled eye toward his brother. "YOU BROUGHT THIS UPON ME!" he roared, grabbing a nearby lamp and raising it to beat Kashi with.

Elliot stumbled onto the bed and grabbed the blankets. Did he look that cold? Nix was quick to jump on his lap and curl against him. "I don't know what I feel." he admitted. "Frightened for the most part. That weapon was is the rage of the gods and I cannot return the technology. I am afraid because my children, leo's children, will be born in an era with... with that." and silently stared at the glass cieling before suddenly sitting up. "What was in the other box? Guinevere allowed me to have another box because I'd need it." and removed the blankets, putting his shoes back on. "I need to find out what is in that other box.

"You can cry, Mr. Leo. It's okay." and the small hand reached out to hold his, looking up at him sadly. "Hey, you shouldn't worry about it. I mean, he loves you, right? And you love him? You guys should be together. I don't think Mom and Dad loved each other at all which is why Mom is gone, and I don't want either one of you to disappear. It's like when Annabelle and Emily get into a fight they're so different, and it makes me sad."

Kashi closed his eyes and turned himself away from the lamp as it started to fall on him, but Tsume stopped Ipo mid swing.

"I have no reason to hate her! The only one I need to hate is him because he didn't die when he was supposed to! I could have been the only one if he died when he was supposed to!" he yelled angrily." he yelled. "Had he the choice he would still be in his pretty little prison blindly giving people their fortune like the cheap fortune teller he is! That or sleeping with the president! The only two uses he's got!"

"I slept with her to keep my head on my shoulders! After predicting the fall of the Kaspian empire I was to be sentenced to death for treason!"

"Then I wouldn't have been created if you didn't have that vision, then!" he gave a type of growl before leaving the room, slamming the door shut behind him.

"I-I'm sorry, about him." Kashi murmured, ears still as limp as they were when the wolf entered.

"I'm still wearing my jacket. I'll be fine. Come on, Nix." and exited the room quickly, mind speeding through the awful possibilities of what could be in that box. He practically ran down the steps before running around the building toward the back. There was Guinevere, tapping the box she had chosen for him. "Missing something?"

"what is in that box?"

"You need to come closer and find out."

The prince frowned but moved closer, opening the box to find nothing but paper. "What is this?" and snatched it before the president could respond. "All that's written on here is Cesarean Section. What is that?"

"It is a new way to give birth if the first way fails. I shall be sending my men to teach your doctors this procedure, and others to help you create guns. It was a pleasure seeing you. You've grown so much." and turned, walking away with a hum.

Martha's eyes widened as she was pulled into a hug, half tempted to shove him away but didn't. Leo needed this, didn't he? Instead the triplet hugged back tightly. "It's okay. It's okay, Mr. Leo." and looked up when the hug ended. "Crying is good, but don't do it a lot, okay? Your eyes get all puffy." and smiled. "I like you better when you're not crying because then your blue eyes get more sad then they already are."
