Apollo glances at the picture once more and winces. It was obvious that he had reacted the same way every other time he even glanced at it. There it was, plain to see that he had been caught with a minor. He chews his bottom lip for a moment before finally saying in a soft voice, "We never meant for that to happen.... Endymion and I have always been very physical and affectionate in our love.... After having nearly lost him then finding out I would have to wait for atleast six more years before he and I could-... well... It was a rough wait, even for the two weeks that we couldn't be together...."
He sighs and looks down to the floor with a sad smile, "It's so good to have him back now.... He does look so different as a child, but his eyes are the same.... I felt so bad, he still had all of his memories and experience but he was stuck in such a small body....... But Rubius...." He swallows hard, "I really am sorry for how I treated you.... Knowing that you saw this, I-.... I would have reacted the same way, had I been in your position."

Apollo smiles a little, "I know we can work this all out without a court having to get involved... I'm happy that Adel still has family left..... trustworthy family.... We love him like he was our own son and he is a joy to have around, but you are the one he should be looking up to.... Whatever we work out, I think its best if primary custody went to you... He deserves to have a normal family and a mother figure in his life, it's something that we can't provide him..."
He leads Rubius downstairs as they wait for Dymion and Adel to return, "Would you like anything to drink or a meal before you leave?... I'm sorry we had to keep you asleep for so long, you must be starving...."

Apollo nods and goes to sit down, feeling almost surreal. Things had changed so much in one day. Twenty-four hours ago, he didn't even know Rubius existed, but now Adel was about to go spend the night with his new family, which were nothing like the boy's grandfather, and Endymion was back to his normal body. That thought made him smile. They hadn't had time to enjoy it yet, but he was sure there would be quite a bit of celebration on their parts very soon.

Apollo swallows hard as he watches them leave. he had gotten so used to Adel being there that this almost felt like a precursor to all the times when Adel would be gone for much longer. He wraps his arms casually around Endymion, kissing his temple, saying softly, "Me too.... They are a better family than we could ever provide for him.... But I guess that doesn't make parting with him easier..."
He rubs Endymion's arms, trying to change the subject, "So how does it feel to be back in your own body again?"

Apollo sighs, the kiss still tingling on his lips as he follows his lover. He felt absolutely starved. Actually, come to think of it, he hadn't eaten anything all day. They had been so busy and things were so stressful that eating had never crossed his mind.
He slips into the kitchen and sighs in relief to see a couple of plates ful of a luscious dinner, just waiting to be heated up and eaten. He moans in relief and goes to one of the plates, and puts it in the microwave, purring to Endymion, "Do you want me to heat you up a plate as well??"

Apollo smiles back at his lover before heating up both the plates of food quickly. The meal smelled wonderful once it came out of the microwave, steaming and sizzling deliciously. He walks over to the table, putting a plate down in front of Endymion and handing him a few napkins and utensils before sitting down himself.
Looking across into Endymion's eyes, he found he couldn't stop himself as he took this moment to lean forward and taste his lover's sweet lips before even thinking about picking up his fork. He whispers a soft prayer, "My sweet god.... oh how I've missed you...."

Apollo eats as well, almost ravenous with hunger as he scarfed down the food. It tasted so good on his tongue, as if everything had tasted like ashes up to this point. He soon joins Endymion, putting his own plate in the sink and stretching with a soft groan of content fullness.

Apollo smiles and steps close into the hug, holding his sweet lover tightly. It had been so long, but it had felt even longer. This was what he lived for. The sex was great, but these displays of affection hooked his heart. He kisses Endymion's neck lightly, feeling relief wash over them, but soon a sudden pleasure shot through him at the prayer, however short. He lets out something between a moan and a sigh, praying back deep confessions of his unending love.
