It was Raquel's turn to squirm. She laughed, fighting him to stop, though losing terribly. "Damian- ...!" She shouted, though her voice was laced with laughter. She ended up using the only way to get herself free from his grasp. She grabbed his shoulders, pulling herself ontop of him, practically tackling him to the bed, kissing him passionately.
Richard smiled at her comment, holding her closely as they simply laid there. "Does it? I was begining to think that I was blending into the house's paint!" he laughed, nuzzling her nose.

As he looked up at her from his position, Damian thought there was no better way to lose such a battle.
"You were always a cheater," he said. "And to a poor man who just got his casts removed..." He dramatically sighed and sent her his look again to say he was joking.
Lorey crinkled her nose and laughed. "Then it will be that much harder for me to find you before the wedding if you have cold feet. You'd have to be a bit bare to really blend in, though."
Which might help in giving her incentive to find him even more, she thought with a roguish grin.

"You didn't seem that poor or feeble on the way in the door..." She retorted with a smirk, cocking one of her eyebrows. She propped herself up on her elbows, letting her hair drape over them like a vail, somehting she always loved doing, because it felt as if they had an extra layer of privacy. She thought about it for a moment, pullng the thin sheet up over the top of both of them, much like Damian did the night she was so scared of the storm.
"Though I must say I didn't mind..." She smiled, though much more innocently, a slight blush on her cheeks.
Richard too was bluxhing bright red at the thought, thinking about it. "Hm... I suppose... Though I hardly doubt I'll get cold feet. If anythng, I'm sitting here fighting the urge to sweep you off your feet, elope somewhere, then just disappear into our little home... but then we wouldn't get to have the beautiful wedding, that you deserve..."

"Or through the hallway, or in this room," he admitted. The smell of her hair was all around him in an intoxicating way. Then the sheet, and they had their own little wall of privacy that no one but them could penetrate.
"Or right now..." he added, and planted a light kiss upon her lips. "Beautiful Raquel."
"That I deserve?" Lorey repeated. "I never thought I'd even get one. Just some quiet ceremony. Not what we're planning..." She cupped his face in her hand, and just rubbed it with her thumb. He had a few bristles here and there, and still looked a little tired. They had a few days before they left, though.
"Not what we're going to do in another world."

She just looked down at him, mesmerized. Damian always had this magic over her, and still did as she merely looked down at him in the dimmed light the sheet gave them.
"Damian...?" She looked down at him, though tried to behave jstu a little. "When we move, can we have a house thats not as...white?" She asked thoughtfully. It seemed like a odd request, ecspecially at a time like this, but it had just popped into her mind. "I mean...I adore this house...its just...things are too... clean? I mean, it feels almsot sterile sometimes... I want something more...us..." She looked down, a thoughtful smirk playing on her lips.
Richard just smiled at her. He loved that he was giving her something so amazing, while getting the woman he'd spend forever with as well. "I love you Mrs. soon to be Lorey Mentaro-" He cooed to her, as he brought her a little closer.

"I agree. Maybe... green. Or blue. Or some other color for the place that won't make my eyes burn."
He entwined their fingers together. Talking about paint as she sat on him under a sheet... Why the hell not? he thought. "Do you think richard and Lorey are wondering where we are at all, or do you think they're content with us just being lechers for a bit?"
"And I love you, Richard." Lorey snuggled close and breathed him in. She could still smell his shampoo and other scents he used. This was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, without any doubt at all.

Raquel laughed a little, thinking about it. "its been pretty quiet, I'm guessing they dont mind having some time alone either..." She shrugged, looking down at him with a kind smile. "If anything...I bet they're talking about the same thing..." She smiled even brighter. That was one thing Raquel adored. She had always loved the thought of talking silly details with someone you loved. She and Nat used to sit around and talk about how they were going to pair up, and travel the galaxy as musicians and lovers. They would talk about which planet they'd go to to preform for, and sometimes they'd even go as far as what species they'd run into, where they'd be resting between shows, writing music while overlooking the universe's most alluring and rarest beauties.
But Nat was her past... and besides... he had never really put the thought that they'd be together 'forever' in her head anyhow. Just a simple passionate fling that was simply fun.
Damian, was her future. Her bright and shining one at that.
Richard smiled, nuzzling her head with his nose before planting a soft kiss on her lips. "Thank you... for saving me... my angel..." He whispered, fighting off sleep, though kept his eyes open, giving her a look. He realized as soon as he said it,she might try to reference back to Rose, but he wasn't. "I think... Rose is watching me somewhere... and she's been watching and protecting me for a long time..." He closed his eyes a moment, a distant smile on his face. "And you know what else I think...?" He opened one eye. "I think she led me to you..."

"You know, I like our alone time. Very, very much." Damian had his grin on his face, and the look like he was preparing for being smacked.
"We should always make plans for alone time. Or maybe I should just get beat up more often. Or sing kareoke."
Lorey wasn't sure if that was possible, or if it was really was Richard thought it was. But what was the harm in him believing his past wife had led him to her, a woman who would save him by simply being herself?
"Richard... I was just in the right place at the right time. You're the one who followed. Maybe you're the one who had the extra help while I was on my own."
It still stung to think that he should have been with Rose, but there was little to do about that. They'd already tearfully talked that whole situation out after the first time Richard thought he had lost her.

Raquel sighed, giving him a sarcastic look. "Well, we could start now? How bout I beat the crap out of you now. Then once you stop bleeding, come find me and we'll have more 'alone time'." She smirked, an eyebrow raised in a sexy manner as she looked down at him.
"Whatever the case was..." He cu short, not wanting to bring up any sore subjects. "You're now eternally mine... and I'm eternally yours..." He kissed her forhead sweetly, holding her a bit tighter.

If that didn't earn him some kind of reprimand, Damian felt she was being too kind. Maybe she knew that he was just being a rogue, though, and let him live.
"I like this idea..." Lorey enjoyed this quiet time. Having him back after weeks on and off of being gone. Now they were together in a much more permanent way, and both were agreeing with this idea of marriage regardless of complications.
"There's just one thing, though." Lorey picked her head up a bit, though she was under his chin more and couldn't quite see him.
"Promise me that we'll go dancing in the cafe just one more time before we leave?"

Raquel couldn't hide the smirkish smile if she had wanted to...which she did. "Its hard to be angry at you when your being so dashing..." She blushed though still tried to hold an annoyed look about her. "I'd be nice to me fi I were you... I mean... if we are to be wed... I could just say I'm starting to feel a bit more... grown up? That there will be no more 'alone time' until after we're married...?" She had a sort of snobbish look to her as she held up her nose, though glanced down at him.
Richard chuckled a little. "Of course. I'll make sure we make a date out of it! One last awkward go around before we seal the deal no?" He joked. He really wasn't that bad of a dancer, it was just how nervous Lorey had made him sometimes that made it awkward. He'd stumble or trip, though Lorey never seemed to notice, he'd sit and reprimand himself for behaving so foolishly.

"But what could be more grown-up than having it? A woman like you, in her prime, should be responsible and take every chance she can get to have a good time before her bones grow old and her hair is grey, and her stamina is next to none."
He almost seemed serious about it, save for the glitter in his eye that could be seen even under the sheet. He wondered what they must look like from outside.
Lorey beamed. She loved it when they went out places, like the time she wore her dress to the fancy restaurant and became the envy of many a lady. That was a night to remember, but she could never forget the first night Richard took her out and made her feel beautiful again.
"You know... that night, when we first met? You did everything for me, didn't you? Protected me from that man, got terribly beat up. I can still remember that awful black eye and swollen face you had." She even sounded like she could still see it, thinking of the poor thing.

"In other words before I become unattractive??" She asked with a faux insulted tilt of her head. "Ah- I see where your priorities lie Mr. Centurion..." She stuck up her nose again, this time sitting up a bit more, crossing her arms.
"Darling, I'd take a pummeling for you...." He smiled and shook his head, though paused. Thats exactly what Damian had done for Raquel wasn't it? That made him think, as his face grew serious. "...He must really honest to God love her huh?" He noted thoughtfully, knowing Lorey would know who he meant.

"You will always be my Raquel. There are just some things you'll never lose." Damian sat up under the covers and caught her around the waist before she could fall backwards. "You may become shriveled like a prune and I may grow fat and bald, but we'll still have it when we're aged. We'll be like wine, better with age."
Lorey had to catch up to him in thoughts to understand what he meant, but once she did, she nodded.
"Yes. The story as I heard it from him was that he saw her being taken away. If he killed the woman, the man would have killed Raquel in revenge. He might have hit her if he shot the man, and so... the deal was made. It worked, and he says that's all that matters. They won't take her again."
He had made it sound so simple. Lorey wondered if Richard would do the same for her, and immediately knew he would. He would die for her.

Raquel had to smile at that. She crossed her legs, looking at him under the covers, managing to make out his lovely bare torso. It was hard to imagine him growing fat at all. But she had to laugh at the thought. "I think you're right...We'll be the old couple that acts like they're 40 years younger... in more ways than one..." She smirked, her eyes softening as she looked to him.
Richard was silent for a moment, taking it all in. "He's really grown huh? Since I've first met him definitely, but ... He's just ... not the Damian Centurion I loathed from the beginning..." He sighed, shaking his head a little with a small smile. "Love does wonders for people no?" He tilted h is head so he could try to look down at her.
