"Okay, I guess the public will always find a way to supress its mass hysteria. Oh, just wanted to make sure, you guys aren`t putting anything I did under mind control against me?" He felt so used that someone could control him so easily, it took away his dignity and his sense of self value, he felt like a tool to be used by either the hunters or the vampires.

"We can't stop them from being corrupt. That's impossible. It's human..." He corrected himself. "Well... It's sentient nature. Anything that is capable of free thought will be capable of corruption." He turned to face Kuro. "Maybe we will, maybe we wont..." He said with an evil grin.

Amnity felt her heart wrench a bit at Mephlius' words, but she quickly disguised it with a roll of her eyes. She looked back over at Kuro, replying to his question. "I'm pretty sure it's just to give you back your control, Tokeru would have told you if it were anything else." She shrugged. "But hell, I could be wrong." The last part she said with extreme sarcasm.

"Okay, just wanted to make sure." He looked at the katana on a nearby table, wanting to just grab it and run out. "Um, can one of you get me a blood packet, it would speed up recovery."

Amnity saw the look he gave his katana, the same look she had when she was planning to make a break for it. "...Sure Kuro...I'll get you a blood packet." She sent a look over to Mephlius before getting off her chair and out the door. The keep an eye on him look, if it was possible. Heading over to a cooler close by, she measured the blood packets, taking the one that was nicely filled back to Kuro's room.

Mephlius would have gotten the blood packet for him, but Amnity beat him to the punch. He thought of stopping her, but decided against it. He sat down in a nearby chair, but didn't take Amnity's. Mephlius thought for a second, realizing he hadn't eaten in over 24 hours. To a human, that was bad. To a Lycan, that was horrible. He gripped his stomach lightly, then put his hand back down, not wanting to interrupt the moment.

"I personally enjoy O-, in medical terms its the only blood type that can be transfered to anyone without harmful effects. Funny little fact I picked up along the way.So, whats your favorite food?"

Mephlius resisted from groaning when he talked about food. "Uhh..." He thought over the food, and it was almost torture. He diverted his thoughts, and took a deep sigh. "Ooh, that's a tough question. I'm not sure..."

Amnity slumped back on the chair, running her fingers through her hair. "...I don't know...I'm more of a steak person. Set a 20 ounce medium rare sirloin infront of me, and it would be gone by the time you look back." She was still debating though. "And also potato stew...The one that Jacob makes..."

Mephlius closed his eyes and took a deep breath once Amnity started talking about steaks. Damnit... His stomach groaned once, and Mephlius tried anything to distract himself.

Kuro looked as Meph groaned. "There a kitchen near here? I`m a pretty good cook, i`ll make Meph something to eat, and you if your hungry." He slowly stood up, taking another look at his katana but forgot it as he walked to the door.

Mephlius shot up from his seat. "Yeah, that sounds good..." He walked briskly, following Kuro to the door. He walked through, and headed to the Kitchen and Mess hall area.
