'Nah, that's not what I meant, Mads. Aizel's a great guy, but he's not all that smart. If he gave Tenshi a boner and then said "I don't swing that way" -' she snorted at the mental image '- then he'd be smart enough to ask if Tenshi enjoyed it.'

Tenshi looked blank for a minute, trying to remember where he'd heard that name before he paled. When he was searching for his sister, Karestra was one of the many places he had done research into."... The labs? I didn't think they took on humans..."

'Y'know, even if there was just a way to communicate with him for a few seconds, just long enough to see how he is, it'd be such a big weight off my mind,' Evangeline sighed, resting her head in one hand. 'It's not knowing for definite how he is that's doing me in the most.'
She raised her view and looked over at Tenshi.
'They don't - usually. Karestra were only interested in Aizel and myself because we're not "ordinary" humans.'
