Rook was walking safely through the Flame village. The space crabs didn’t bother him, as he didn’t bother with them. He was one individual and had no power against them. He was fresh out of the academy, and was well on his way to learn many more jutsus. The one thing he just learned was his clan’s one jutsu. He was from a clan who didn’t have more than one jutsu, but this jutsu could be powerful enough to wipe out an entire village. He breath out, his hands in his pockets. He was looking ahead, seeing a space crab, and soon his usual smirk was wiped off his face. He simply stared at it, and with the staring, the crab sensed someone was looking at it and quickly turned around. The crab made eye contact with Rook, and soon his red eyes were piercing into its’ soul, and the crab became intimidated. Rook smirked, as the crab began to shift uneasy. The dark aura that Rook carried around quickly took effect on the one fearful crab. The young Ryuujin took a step towards the creature, which resulted in it turning and walking away. Rook laughed before his smirk turned into a smile. He felt powerful and loved the feeling. He continued his way to the training grounds, scaring crabs as he went, and saw they had yet to invade the training area. Rook took his hands out of his pocket, his shaggy black hair waving in the wind. His red streak turned to fire when the sun hit it at just the right angle. The newly graduated shinobi made some hand signs and quickly, his image was copied and appeared in a puff of smoke. The smoke cleared and another Rook stepped out. His hands were in his pockets, his cloak was long and filled with the usual chains, his hair swayed in the wind. He just looked the exact same as the original. The two smirked at each other, before the clone pointed to a piece of hair that stood out on top of Rook’s head. Rook’s smirk changed to a look of confusion, before he raised an eyebrow. The clone laughed, and shook his head.
"Your hair looks stupid today." The clone said. The thing about Rook’s clone is that they seemed to think they were en entirely different person and acted as if they were. But they still held the properties of the clone jutsu, as well as having their own personality. Some people found it strange, but Rook found it great that the clones were able to find themselves another identity than just stealing his. Rook looked at his clone, before lifting up his right hand and pointing to the clone’s face.
"Your face looks stupid today." The original said back to the clone. The clone frowned, before the usual taunting smirk was back on his face. He took a step back, and raised his fist to the original. He looked ready for battle, and let of this deadly vibe. Rook smirked, before throwing out his arms, his long jacket flowing with the movement, and leaned back a bit.
"Come at me, bro!"Rook exclaimed while the clone began to laugh his a** off, and Rook couldn’t help but chuckle. He just insulted his clone and happily took an insult from him. The young Ryuujin looked at his clone before moving to the side of the clearing that was also known as the training grounds. The two face each other, their laughter dying down, and the usual smirk was plastered on their faces. Their hands rested at their sides, and Rook was going through a list of jutsus that were open for him to try and learn, and there was a lot. Rook smirked and went on to the first one he thought would be fun and easy to learn and could be useful all in one. Then a jutsu came to mind. He smirked and began to preform hand signs yet again. He was only using the hand signs he could guess that meant the jutsu he wanted to learn. He only hoped he got the jutsu right. Sure enough, he was dead wrong. A bit of flamed began to accumulate under his right foot. The flames suddenly shot Rook forward and into a tree. Rook’s chin met the rough bark and he bit his tongue. A awful sound of something cracking was heard when Rook met the tree, and sure enough, the impact knocked a branch loose and slammed down on Rook. The poor young male layed limp under the fair big sized branch, and he continued to lay there. The flames under hi foot was burned out instantly, and his jutsu failed. He sighed, before rolling both the branch and him over. His clone could be heard laughing in the background. Rook finally got the branch off him and he sat up and quickly glared at his clone. The clone was holding onto his stomach, laughing his guts out while trying so desperately to stay standing on his feet. He gasped for breath and wiped away a tear. The original was making his way back to the clone, and finally stood next to him. Rook held a dark and rather evil looking smirk. The clone’s laughter was dying down, but the occasional chuckles were heard. Rook grabbed onto the clone’s hands, and began to make hand signs with it. On instinct, the clone began to concentrate on the hand signs, and soon, a red glow was seen under the clone’s left foot. Rook channeled his chakra into the clone to preform the jutsu, and soon enough, the same flames were seen under. The clone frowned when it saw what Rook was doing. It wasn’t log till the clone was sent shooting across the field and into a bush. The clone let out a howl of pain, before a puff of smoke was scene. Rook doubled over, holding onto his stomach and trying to grasp breath. His lungs burned with the lack of oxygen, his clothing was getting dirty, and he was growing weaker from all the laughing. After a few minutes, the laughing Ryuujin calmed down, and sat on the ground smiling from ear to ear. He stood up and brushed himself off, before conjuring another clone. The clone didn’t look too happy. Rook smiled at it, before raising a hand.
"What happened back there? Did the bush attack you?" He asked in the usual I-don’t-care tone. The clone had his arms crossed, in the deadly red eyed glare, his hair covering his face, and finally the intimidating dark aura. Rook waited patiently for an answer, and let the clone glare his head off. The clone breathed a sigh before looking at his creator.
"The bush didn’t ‘Attack’" he added air quotes with his fingers "It was more like ‘Oh, look. Someone who’s gonna fall on me. Let’s magically grow thorns just so I can stab him in the butt.’ sort of thing." The clone said sarcastically, making his voice sound overly sweet when imitating the bush’s voice. Rook on the other hand, smiled when he heard this. The clone raised an eyebrow.
"What? No apology?" It asked. Rook smirked.
"Why should I apologized for something you deserved?" He answered back. The clone wasn’t mused in the least. "At least we know what not to do." Rook said, looking on the bright side. The clone sighed, knowing getting Rook to apologize was a lost argument. The clone sighed again, before getting Rook’s attention back to the task at hand. The two quickly were back on track, looking at one another, and preforming the hand signs they could remember. Rook quietly muttered the names of the hand signs, as the clone copied him completely. The young Ryuujin sighed as he felt his inner most heat began to boil up to the surface of his skin, and quickly begin to spread throughout his body. He grinned as the clone let out a sigh. Rook closed his eyes and began to picture the flames burning across a field, making everything turn black with sickness and death. He smirked as he knew he was going to get this jutsu down. Rook opened his eyes, and saw his clone was dong the same. The clone was concentrating on his inner fire, and wasn’t doing so well. Rook looked down, before forcing the burning sensation down to his feet, and soon his feet were glowing the intensity of the fire. His clone watched him, and mirrored his moves, and quickly grasped the concept of it. Rook waited till his clone’s feet glowed, and smiled when they did. They looked at each other and grinned, before placing their right hands on their hips.
"Flame glide, complete!" They both exclaimed while walking towards each other. But Rook and the clone, not knowing the actual background and intentions of the jutsu, shot forward and both let out a yelp of surprise. After a few seconds of panic and terror, they collided and went tumbling to the ground. Their limbs were tangled and they rolled on the ground. They both groaned while trying to untangle themselves. Rook placed his hand on his forehead, from where their heads met. The clone let out a laugh, before Rook ruptured into a fit of laughter. After the two calmed down from the laughter, Rook quickly undid the jutsu and the clone disappeared in a puff of white smoke. Rook propped himself up on his hands, and looked at the sky. The sun filtered down and began to warm him, the sun’s rays made him light skin glow. His body began to take in the warmth of the sun and hid it deep in his body. Once the kid was up on his feet, he looked himself over, and brushed off all the dirt and other things that clung to his clothing. Once again, he walked to the side of the clearing he was one before, and got back into a the ready position. His hands danced into the form of the hand signs again. His body began to heat up again, and soon his feet began to glow again. He laughed as he felt the nice warm tingle of his familiar element. His feet glowed, and he smiled to himself. Rook crouched down, and pushed off with his foot. He went shooting into the clearing, as if on roller blades, and began to preform tricks. He jumped onto a tree, before skidding to a stop on the highest branch, only to twist in a 360, and began to plummet down to the ground. He smirked as he saw the ground was coming to meet him head on. Once he was close enough, he placed his hand on the ground, tucked in and rolled into a somersault He got right back up and went on with his game of playing around. He laughed as he felt the win in his hair, and smirked when he performed tricks. He just finished a trick, and was simply skating around. He wasn’t paying attention to where he was going, and his front met the hard bark of a big tree dead on. He let out a puff of breath, and quickly slid down it’s trunk. The young Ryuujin wasn’t happy about getting shown up by a tree, so he stood up, glared at the tree, placed his hands in his pockets, and began to pace back to his original position on the other side of the clearing. Normally people would forgive the tree and go on with whatever it was they were doing, but not this Ryuujin. Rook walked to the side of the clearing, and stared at the tree. He wasn’t an idiot, he just preferred to get revenge on anything in his way or made him look like a fool. His stare turned to a glare, and soon he turned away. He began to go down the list of jutsus be could use against this tree to show it who was boss. Rook could remember a jutsu he could learn from a scroll he had at home. Something to do with flames going into the ground to create pillars of fire? He smirked, and turned back. His hands slowly raised into the hand sign for fire, and his hands slowly formed other, into an array of smooth movement. Once all the hand signs were made, the young boy felt his chest begin to warm, he felt the burning begin to wield up and slowly began to gather into a small point in his body. It gathered above his heart, and somewhat burned his lungs. He inhaled a deep breath, then quickly began to disperse it towards the ground. The flames were then spread over the ground around him, as it looked like he was basking in flames, and the flames died down, and soon they seemed to be sucked into the ground. The boy smiled, before looking at the tree that seemed to be taunting him. His red eyes were narrowed into a glare and he couldn’t help but want to beat the crap out of it for making a fool of him. But he guess the tree couldn’t help it if he was an easy target. He lifted up his hand slowly, his cloak flowing out with the movement. The clearing got warm all of a sudden, and soon it shook slightly. The young Ryuujin felt in power and totally at peace as the ground was ripped apart and the glowing red, oranges and yellows ruptured into the clearing, forming large flame looking pillars. Rook raised the other, as the flame pillars began to slowly begin to come closer and closer to the tree that pissed off the angry teen. The ground below was becoming more and more unstable with all the fire ripping it apart, the tree was becoming more and more of a target. Rook smirked evilly, as he stopped and let his hands drop to his side, everything went quiet. The wind blew lightly, and the sun shone brightly. Rook continued to leer at the tree, before raising both his hands at once. Soon enough, more pillars full of flames reached up around the tree, dragging it out of the ground, burning it's roots, and completely burning it. The tree was lifted up into the air, it's leaves burning in no time flat, the dirt was becoming nothing, while the branches were aglow, and were slowly loosing their length. The tree was a big mass of fire, and Rook felt wonderful about lighting it on fire. He sighed as the tree landed on the ground, part of it flying everywhere and scattering along the ripped up earth. He smirked and continued to look around at all the other trees. It was clear this tree was out of commission. Rook smirked and was satisfied that his revenge had been successful and was even more impressed that he was able to learn yet another jutsu. The young Pyro turned on his heels, his cloak swaying dramatically behind him, and soon was making his way back into town. He was a bit tired from the small training session, but he was also hungry. He smirked as he saw something was going on ahead. It seemed like a lot of people were gathered around a single point. There was lots of shouting and lots of rushing around. There was something in the middle, looking a lot like a fight. Rook always enjoyed a good fight, and enjoyed watching it even more. He silently strolled up to the crowded people, and walked around, before pushing his way past people to see what was going on. Inside the circle of people, he saw two men were fighting. One looked small and frail, while the other guy was well over 200 pounds. Rook was sort of impressed that the little guy actually decided fight, let alone was winning. He crossed his arms as he felt more people press against his back. He growled in annoyance as some of the people backed off from him, disturbed by his aura. He smirked at them over his shoulder, as they back off even more. The smaller man dodged a punch from the much larger man, and Rook began to calculate the chances of this small man being victorious. Rook sighed, seeing no other way then breaking some rules and bringing weapons into the fight. He watched them wrestle and beat the crap out of each other, while people around him scream out instructions, insulted them, screamed in excitement. Rook normally would have though that standing around watching other duke it out was lame, or even selfish, but he was doing that. He was about to turn and go to a shop he knew had good service and had the best food in town. He knew the owner and occasionally was given free food. He frowned as he saw the bigger man bring out a kunai and a chain with a heavy looking spike ball out of what seemed to be his butt. Rook raised an eyebrow, before seeing people around the circle back away. He stood where he was, as it seemed he had joined the fight. The smaller man looked rather scared and feared for his life. The young boy didn't like to play dirty, but he also didn't like to be defeated in battle. His frown soon turned into a smirk. The bigger man began to swirl the spike ball around, Rook hearing small gasps as people began to back away. He clenched onto his cloak's sleeve, wanting to jump in a kick some tail. A scream could be heard as he looked to the side, seeing some more of the space crabs began to tear at the area everyone was in. What stupid, inconsiderate creatures they were, not even allowing for the fight to come to a close. Rook quickly came to the conclusion that the smaller man would be the one to die first, and the bigger man would defiantly come out victorious. But Rook could also get involved and help the more frail of the two. The crabs began to lash out at people, sending them flying in all directions, their pincers were clamping down on people, instantly cutting them in half. As much as Rook liked to see useless people fall, he also felt they didn't have to die. He glared at any crab that so much as glanced in his direction, and quickly went back to the two men fighting. They didn't seemed fazed by the sudden assault against the village, and were more focused on each other. Rook quietly walked around their range of attack, and watched with a slight thinking face. The fat guy swung the large spike ball and the smaller man quickly dodged to the left, just barely being missed. Rook almost laughed at how pathetic it all seemed. Here were two large men who seemed to be getting along great, but then something happened and they were at each other's throat. Rook quickly jumped into action and grabbed onto the chain of the spike ball, and pulled on it. The big man let out a yelp of surprise, as he flopped back on his back. He looked up at Rook, before glaring at him. Rook narrowed his menacing red eyes, and his dark smirk slowly shone on his face. The smaller man took this as a sign to run, and quickly took off. But like Rook had predicted, he was fast, he was down the street before the fatter man could look up. Once the man had taken in all that had happen, he looked up at the younger male, obviously furious.
"Hey, dip! You let him get away! This is my fight and my fight only!" The man screeched out loudly, before jerking himself onto his feet. The man turned towards Rook, before taking a step closer to the male. He tightened his grip on the chain, and pulled outwards making the chain make this snapping noise. Rook's smirk grew as he knew he was in for a good fight. The man glared, and lunged forward. "But you JUST DRAGGED YOURSELF INTO THIS!!!" The man howled loud enough for even the space crabs to stop in their tracks of killing people and turned to take in the scene before them. Rook on the other hand, didn't so much as weaver as the man was charging at him. The young boy waited for the last moment to dodge to the left, and stuck out his foot, tripping the man flat on his face. A few chuckles and squeaks could be heard from the crowd of people and crabs. Rook looked around to see even the crabs had gathered around to observe them. The red striped boy simply blew them off, before looking down at the man who was struggling to get back up. Rook lifted his foot and clamped it down on the man's back, making his face meet the ground again. A wail of pain could be heard by the man, and Rook didn't care at all. The man rolled over, grabbing onto Rook's foot. The man ripped the boy's foot out from under him and wrestled him to the ground. The man slammed down on the boy's chest, causing the wind to be knocked out of the poor boy who was getting crushed. The boy gasped and heaved as his lungs began to burn for air, and struggled against the weight that was on him. Rook let out a battle cry, before reaching out to his inner fire, and began to focus all he could on the surface of his skin. He huffed and quickly soon became aware of what was happening to him. He could feel the heat, and soon enough, so could the man on top of him. Rook opened his eyes to see his whole body was on fire, the red, oranges and yellows were dancing upon his body, gracing on the man. The man quickly realized his mistake and quickly rolled off Rook. The boy stood up, the flames still dancing around him. He looked at the man, before smirking. The flames died down, as Rook simply waved his arm and the flames went out completely. The man glared more, before clutching onto his arm. It would seem that Rook had injured the poor man, but something inside Rook felt great about hurting this man. The pyro stood tall and proud, waiting for the man to make his next move. Rook crossed his arms, his smirk not once leaving his face. The Ryuujin laughed as someone yelled out to finish him off. The man got up, and glared a hateful glare at Rook, this on encouraged the pyro to hurt him even more. The man grabbed the chain, snapped it threateningly, and began to slowly walk over to the boy before him. Rook was calm and cool as a pickle, while the man was furious and couldn't hold the anger ff his face. The man began to swing the spike ball over his head, and soon the chain and ball made a whooshing sound. Rook continued with his calm, taunting manner. The man finally ripped the spike ball and chain down on Rook's head, only to have Rook dodge to the left. He smirked and continued with his counter attack. The chain just missed Rook, and was being held just above his shoulder. The young Ryuujin lifted his hand up and gripped onto the chain, before focusing his chakra into the chain. He focused some more, but didn't notice the man had snuck up behind him and wrapped a bit of the chain around his neck. Rook gasped and brought his free hand up to the chain, trying to get it loose enough to breath. The man smirked and began to whisper things into Rook's ear. But the young boy had a different idea in mind. He divided his focus into two area. His right hand that was placed on the chain, and his foot. His foot began to glow, much like before and the Flame Glide technique, but this time, it was soldering hot. The man noticed something was wrong when Rook didn't struggle much. He blinked and opened his mouth to ask the young boy why he was so quiet, but soon got his answer as Rook brought the hot foot down onto the man's foot. The man gasped at the heated foot met his, for he was wearing sandals. Not the best foot wear, but it seemed the man didn't care most of the time. The man's foot was then mounted to the ground for a short amount of time. The man let out a loud scream of pain, as the crowd of people and crabs cringed. The man began to cry out for help, or something to help him ease the pain, but Rook wasn't even done yet. He focused the rest of his attention to his hand, and not before long, the chain began to turn red. The chain was dropped to the ground by the man, and Rook picked it up where it had turned red. The dark individual grabbed it, before looking at it. He smirked again, and turned to the man.
"Maybe next time you should pick on people your own size. It's sort of pathetic to pull a b***h move like that." Rook said throwing the chain in the air and catching it again. He did this a few more times, and hear a few girls from the crowd swoon and sigh, as if they were in a fairytale. The boy didn't pay much attention to them, and continued at the task at hand. He held out both his hand in fists, both sides of the fist touched, as the chain was clenched between his fists. The dark aura around him began to intensify, soon everyone would feel a bit on edge. Rook laughed before pulling his fists apart and running them along the chain. As the chain slipped through his fists, The chain quickly began to turn red, and soon enough, it was glowing a bright shade of orange. Rook began to spin it over his head, and watched as the man began to struggle against the ground, trying so hard to get his foot out of the hold. Rook laughed, and quickly brought the chain down. It acted much like a whip, lashing out at the man, making a sizzle noise as it hit his flesh. The man let out wails of pain and screams of agony. Rook lashed him a few more times, before letting the chain fall to Rook's side.
"Have we learned our lesson yet?" He asked in a dark tone. He smiled evilly at the man, who quickly got on his knees and began to apologize for his actions and began to babble about not wanting to die. The boy simply looked down at him, and smiled a bit. He couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Rook dropped the chain by the man's knees, which burned him a bit, and turned away from him, his smirk still present on his face. The young boy laughed as he looked over his shoulder.
"Make sure you remember it. Or else I might need to give some...reeducation." He said and winked. There were gasps and more swooning from the crowd, and the man began to thank Rook for his generosity. But the boy was beind far from fair. He was letting this man live, who would more or less hurt more people for his own gain, kill simply because he felt like, make people fear him so no one would appose him. Rook smirked, knowing he was the exact same way. But he didn't really need to try and scare people, he just developed a strange dark aura that told people to keep their distance. He didn't mind it at all, he thought people were both stupid and desirable at the same time. He was lucky to be one of the few people who weren't trapped in their webs of distortion. The boy walked past girls who drooled over him, men who glared because of jealousy, crabs who feared they too might end up like him. He smirked, putting his hands into his pockets, and continuing to walk away. He began to head for a stop in a tree, where he would sit and think about the world. But before he did that, he began to venture off to his favorite restaurant. He soon came to a curry stand, and ordered a small bite to eat. He waited for his order to be finished, and laughed when the man said it wouldn't be ready for a few minutes. Rook reassured the man he was OK to wait, and was hardly the person that would attack for something so small. The man nodded and went back to making the curry. After waiting a few moments, Rook felt something bump into his back, and upon looking over his shoulder, he saw a girl who had watched him fight had tripped and used him as support. He smirked at her, while she looked up at him. Upon seeing he was her support, she quickly let go, blushed and began to stutter an apology. Rook reassured her it wasn't worth the apology, and turned to her fully. She nodded, before asking him why he stepped in. Rook didn't falter at the question, but looked at the man as he held out a package of curry. He thanked the man, and paid him. Soon, Rook began walking down the path. Without knowing it, the girl began to follow him. He ventured down the streets of the Flame village, and greeted villagers as they spoke of his great fire wielding skills, and commented on the man he had left half dead. He stopped and looked over his shoulder, looking at a tree.
"You can come out now." Rook said. His right hand in his pocket, his left hand carrying the package of curry. The girl blushed and walked around the tree. Rook tilted his head, before giving her a cute confused look. "So what is it you want? Oh, I know. You want my auto-graph. That's sweet, but I don't do the paparazzi thing, sorry honey." He said in a rather flirtatious voice. The girl's blush deepened, as she shook her head. Rook placed his right hand on his hip and waited for her to say something. The girl shuffled uncomfortably, and continued to stay silent. The boy was beginning to become bored and rather annoyed with the hesitation. The girl finally took a step towards his, despite the fear she held for Rook's dark aura and manner.
"U-Ummmmm...I just wanted to...ask something." The girl stuttered. Rook raised an eyebrow, before turned to walk away, The girl took another step, and then jogged to his side. The young boy continued to walk, and didn't pay much attention to her. The girl walked next to him, and stumbled a bit when Rook took a sharp turn into the forest. She looked at him, watching him begin to fade in the darkness of the forest. She followed, and looked around, clearly on high alert. Rook walked to a tree, before reaching and grabbing onto a low branch, he threw himself into the air, before grabbing onto a branch higher up and slowly made his way up to the top of the tree. The girl watched and gasped as he kept getting higher and higher. She stayed near the bottom of the tree, and simply watched as the dangerous looking male got near the top. He layed back on a branch, and put his arms behind his head and closed his eyes. The sun beamed down on his perfectly, and his body was beginning to warm with the familiar tingling sensation. He didn't open his eyes as he addressed the girl.
"Go ahead and ask." He said in a monotone voice. The girl looked up and became timid again, before wondering if she should really ask. She sighed, before looking up at Rook with round fearful eyes.
"What's your out take on the world?" She asked as if it was the most important thing in the world. Rook didn't so much as blink. He sighed, and opened his eyes, looking at the sky. He laughed at her questions, while she flinched, thinking she must have been stupid for asking such a thing. Rook thought the same. He let out a low growl, before rolling over and looking at the girl. He placed his hand on the side of his head, and rested his arm against the branch. His red eyes looked her over, before piercing into her soul. She gasped as she realized he could kill her at any given moment. He smirked, before replying in a complex way.
"This world can be so cruel -
Go the wrong way, and look like a fool.
Some things, so hard to understand,
Ugly occurrences in such a beautiful land.
We destroy ourselves every single day,
Destroying our world, destroying our way.
We go through life feeling almost blind,
Such a long travel, often nothing to find.
Some become no one, some become great,
Some with such love, some have anger and hate.
How can we be so different, and also the same?
We all have secrets of tragedy and shame.
Our reason for life seems so dense.
We search for answers so we can make sense.
If we're all here for a reason, we want to know why,
Something we may never know, before we die.
If the world actually revolved for you and me,
How would we know, shouldn't we see?"He answered in a riddle. He smirked as he saw the confused look pass along the girl's face. He stood up, his shadow casting along the ground and falling on the young girl. He smirked, and waved with two fingers. The girl looked at him, with a look of utter confusion. Rook jumped off the branch, before making hand signs, quietly muttering the names, and soon felt the heat again. He smirked, loving the tingling sensation, and focused it all to his back. He was quickly approaching the hard earth below, and he was slightly becoming a bit panicked. He began to focus more, hoping somehow it would work all of a sudden. As he neared the earth, he heard a scream from the girl, as if her scream would help him. He felt like he wanted to spit out a massive ball of fire, so he went with alternate plan. He took a deep breath in and blew it towards the ground. He saw the ball of fire form in front of him, and quickly covered his face from the fire. He was jerked to a stop all of a sudden, and soon enough, he knew why. He smirked, and flared out his arms, the heat rising to much higher degrees, and soon he felt his back on fire. The wind caught something and forced Rook upwards. He gasped slightly as he was raised up higher than the tree, and was in the air above the village and trees. He looked over his shoulder, seeing large magnificent fire wings gracing upon his back. The light of the wings radiated off his face, and his smirk returned. He wondered if he could control them, and began to filter a small amount of chakra into them, if only to control them. The wings on his flapped and he was pushed once again into the air. He looked at the sky, and laughed as he could feel the sun's rays becoming more and more hotter. He smiled, and continued to have fun in the air. He flapped his wings, before wrapping them around himself. He plummeted towards the ground, he could feel the wind rushing through his hair, he could feel the wind whisper in his hair, and if felt magnificent. He smirked, and flared out the wings at the last second, and began to scale into the sky again. He didn't know anything like this was possible, and therefor he was happy to have discovered this jutsu. He might not have been the original one to discover it, but in that one moment of not knowing what to do, he thought he did a good job in getting a leveled head and preforming the jutsu. He soared into the air, and began to twist, loop, dash forward, and simply enjoy the feel of having the wind to his face. Something caught his eye as it sparkled in the forest, and directed his course to the source of the sparkle. He plummeted towards the earth and smiled, hoping to make a clear landing. But instead of what he had been hoping for, he came a little too close and rammed himself right into the tree were the sparkle came from. The tree was knocked back a bit, as it's foots couldn't support it from the impact. Rook slid down the trunk, and soon placed his hand over his nose, cursing loudly. He growled, before looking at the tree. Something was familiar about the tree, but he didn't give it a second thought. He walked around the tree, and began to look around for the source of what had caught his attention. He placed his hands on the bark, and began to get bored and a bit frustrated on what he was suppose to find. He had no idea where to search, and where he shouldn't search. He was about to leave, when he saw the sparkle from the side of the tree. He walked closer, and soon saw something metal poking out. He looked at it closely, as it seemed to the tip of a weapon. He smirked as he remember what it was. It was his scythe that he had hid in the tree before someone could take it from him. People in the Flame often tried to steal it, for it was one of the best scythes in good conditions. He tried to take good care of it, cleaning the blade daily, keeping it within an arm's reach when he had it with him. He smirked, before he began to preform hand signs. He stood back from the tree, before looking at it with a smirk. Much like the other tree, he was going to put it out of commission just like the other tree that had made a fool of him. He brought his fits up, before dashing at the tree, He thrust out his fist, as it lit on fire and quickly made a large indent on the bark, as well as a burn was left. He smirked, liking the new form of taijutsu. He quickly went into a full out taijusu attack and kept beating the tree much like the large log in the training grounds. The tree was hit so many times that the tree was soon set on fire, just like the other tree. He smirked and looked to the side. He figured there must be something worth all the tree beating. The tree broke under all the plumbing it was taking, and soon the bark around the weapon had been burned away. Rook stood back, the flames from his fist and feet disappeared. He slowly took the scythe out of the grasp of the tree, and ran his hand over the flat side of the blade, it needed to be sharped and cleaned again. The scythe was made with lots of blades around the much larger blade. The scythe had a total of three blades, the top one was larger than the two under neath it, and much more lethal. The scythe was attached to a odd chain like thing that was normally hanging around Rook's waist. The boy smiled at it, before attaching the chain around his body and the scythe, making it fit just right around the body of it. He loved the scythe, and he fought roughly with it. He looked at the tree, watched it burn for a few more minutes, before turning and making his way back to the training grounds. He walked, and hear the bird chirp and forest animals trying to get away from the space crab attack. A few crabs could be seen wondering around the forest trying to look for someone to kill, someone to sink their claws into. He shook his head as a few of them popped out of a bush, turned to him, realized who they were up against, and quickly scurried off. He smirked, and place his hands back into his pockets. He felt complete with the large heavy piece of metal on his back. He felt content and hoped nothing was going to attack him. Actually, he sort of hoped something attacked him, it would make for an interesting battle. The forest was in turmoil, but Rook didn't pay any attention to it. As long as those strange crab creatures didn't barf up water on him, he was OK with it all. He finally reached the training grounds and wondered what jutsu he should learn next. He wondered what it would be like to have a clone MADE of fire. He smirked, before he began to think of what the ethics behind this theory would be. He raised his hands out of his pockets, and began to make hand signs. He once again focused on the fire he loved so much, and began to realize he was far more happier in the most hottest of places. He quickly saw the fire within him began to become visible as fire seemed to materialize in front of him. He gazed at it for a moment, before realizing something was stepping out of the flames. The person who seemed to be walking out of the flames was him. He done it, he made a clone out of fire. The clone smirked at him, every detail was the same as the original standing only meters away. He smirked back, before raising his hand into the air for a high five. The clone did the same and continued to copy the original's actions. The clone laughed at Rook's completely astonished face. He couldn't help but love the way the clone's hands were heated, almost as if he WAS the fire. Rook looked the clone over. His hair was the exact same black shade, his red stripe was on the same strands of hair, his red eyes were the same crimson color, his lean and strong build was the same, his posture was straight and powerful looking, his gestures were the same. The only difference between the two were the clone admitted more heat than the original. Rook though this might come in handy when needed, and would more or less throw off everyone. He smiled to himself, before looking around, thinking of another jutsus he could learn. Both Rook's looked at each other before reaching up and taking their scythes off their back and held it in their hands. They smirked at each other, before positioning themselves of each side of the clearing. The two gripped onto their scythes, before raising it high above their heads. Rook began to twirl his scythe around in a large circle and soon thrusted it upwards into the air. It spun around, and began to glow red. Rook preformed some hand signs, and as his scythe came down again, he grabbed onto it, the red becoming more and more visible. He smirked, before looking at the clone. The clone was going to be there to destroy the jutsus in case Rook couldn't handle it on his own. The scythe was twisted around more, as the blade began to glow ever more, soon turning a brighter red. Rook smirked, and continued on with the jutsu. The blade became so hot, that flames began to blaze off it, and soon, because it was spinning so fast, the flames began to become a huge vortex of flames. The flames got hotter and bigger, as the jutsu became more and more stronger. The scythe was spinning faster and fast, as Rook let out a battle cry, he unleashed all the power towards the clone. The clone let out a yelp as it saw it was heading straight for him. Rook held out his hand, and began to direct the vortex of burning flames after his clone. The clone jumped into the air, successfully avoiding the mass of flames. The vortex continued on for a bit, till Rook closed his hand and pulled it back, making it lunge for the clone again. Rook smirked as he was in control of something so destructive and powerful. The clone looked over his shoulder, seeing the vortex was rushing at him again. But he didn't have enough time to avoid it and ended up getting hit head on by it. The clone gasped and soon a large explosion was made from the clone's destruction. To Rook's displeasure, the explosion disrupted the flaming vortex, which cancelled out everything else. Rook frowned, and continued on with her learning and teachings. He was happy about this new jutsu, it should serve him well in fight that sill had to come. He smirked, and placed his hands back into his pockets. He went over to a tree that was un scorched by flames or destruction he had caused, and was even more happy when he finally got to settle down for a bit and eat his lunch. He pulled the package out of his pocket and proceeded to unwrap it. The red curry was onto of rice, and that was just how Rook love it. And for a side, there were two egg rolls and two spring rolls. He began to eat the curry and rice first, as he looked around at all the burns and destruction everywhere. He smirked at it, and continued to eat. The wind was great, cooling down the area, and the sun beamed down, harshly at the forest. He could hear the distant screams of people, he could hear the distant snapping of the crabs. He felt the hot food burn his mouth and throat, but it was the filling bit he loved the most. He continued to eat, and soon he came to the egg rolls and spring rolls. He looked at them with sheer happiness. He stuffed them into his mouth, savoring every chew and swallow. He was in heaven just from the food. The loved egg rolls and spring rolls, he loved them more than fighting, which was really saying something. He quickly began to finish up, before hoping to his feet again. He went straight out to the training grounds, ignoring the fact he just ate. He had his usual smirk on, with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He looked at the side, seeing something was going on, and sure enough, there was a group of crabs at the side of the clearing. It would seem they were challenging him to a fight, and he would gladly accept. They fanned out and began to get into a ready position, and Rook did the same. He took his hands out of his pockets, and held them at his side. The crabs seemed to be a bit intimidated by his shadowed manners, and became a bit skiddish. He laughed and looked at them straight on. The seemed some what determined to get this done and over with, seemingly as if they were going to win this fight. Rook smirked, before bringing his hands up into a hand sign to focus. They took this as a changed to attack, and charged as fast as they could towards him. His smirk widened as he had predicted their moves. He took a step closer, making more hand signs. He took a deep breath in, before holding it for a moment. His head was tilted back slightly, his chest was puffed out, and he was having a a chance to observed what they were doing. He smiled as he saw they were doing nothing much charging and snapping at him. The boy took one last breath through his nose, began to mix his chakra into the air within his chest, the fiery burning sensation present again, and exhaled into a massive ball of fire. Much like the Uchiha's fireball technique, but much more larger and a lot more destructive. Rook smirked, thinking he was stronger than the average Uchiha, and continue on with the assult. The crabs squealed with pain and sounded like they were getting murdered, but the owner of the fire didn't care. He stood back and watched the massive ball of fire engulf the small pack of crabs, but gave a look of confusion when he saw it had shrunk in size and was hurled back at him. He gasped and began to preform hand signs again. He looked around, and began to think stronger and faster, his chakra spreading throughout his body, and soon he was able to dodge it. He was engulf in flames for a few second, before he appeared through it, with only slight singes, less damage than what would have happened. He saw a crab had been waiting on the other side of the fireball, and had raised a claw. The crab slammed it down, hoping to land a blow. But Rook was faster and, because of the jutsu he just preformed, he was able to make a quickly getaway. Once he was at a safe distance, he realized he had just preformed the Innerfire jutsu. He had heard about it, and it seemed to make someone resistant to fire as well as stronger and faster. He looked at his fist and clenched it. He smiled at the crabs, before taking a step towards them. Rook was a bit out of chakra, so he decided he wasn't going to let this drag on any longer than it had to. He smiled before looking at them, and glared slightly. A few of them stiffened, while other glared back. Rook looked deep in their eyes, seeing as they were glaring back at him, as he slowly made more hand signs. His smile turned to a dark smirk, and he began to play with their minds. The crabs soon began to see Rook begin to disappear, and they saw fire begin to form all around them. Upon feeling fear for the devastation element, they began to screech and cry like a crab in boiling water, as they hated fire. The group soon were placed under Rook's genjutsu, Burning Daydream. It was a great thing to use, and it was great for anyone who seemed immune to Rook's dark aura. He watched the crabs wiggle around like a marine creature out of water, excuse the pun. Rook began to work quickly, and preformed more hand signs. The air around Rook became more and more hotter, as the young boy began to envision a large fire made out of entirely flames, and soon, he opened his eyes to see a large ring of fire had indeed surrounded them with fire. Rook smiled, and made a few more rings. The fire rings, Pyro Prison, was able to keep Rook and the crabs in it. And now for the finally blow to the crabs. As Rook continued to scrabble at his brain to remember the jutsus he had read of a scroll, he began to preform more. He could only hope this would happen the way he wanted it too. He took in a deep breath, just like the Great Sphere jutsu he had preformed a while back, he held it in his chest, mixing the chakra together. But instead of flames coming out, Rook had mixed in a smaller amount and considerate it a lot more, a large cloud of burning ash came out of his mouth. It surrounded them all, and was blocked by the Pyro Prison they were all trapped in. But luckily the Inner fire was still in effect and the ashes didn't hurt Rook that much. The ashes lingered in the air, making it harder for them all to breath. Rook watched as the crabs were badly burned and brought out of the Genjutsu, and soon they began to fall lifeless on the ground. Rook smirked, before walking away. He reached the rings of fire, and crushed them with his hand. As he did, the ash still in the air spilled out into the clean air, making a cool effect. Rook smirked, before brushing off any extra ash that had fallen on him. He had done all the learning he needed, and was ready to head some place else. He thought of any other place he might be able to learn any fire related jutsu, and the first village that came to mind was the Volcano village. They had many jutsu there that they could teach him. He laughed before breathing out a large fireball of fire, and walked through it. Just like before, he had these large wings made of fire. He smirked, before taking to the sky. He looked over his back at his scythe, and wondered where he could find a place to sharpen it. He sighed, before looking back at the sky, wondering if there was such a thing as a sky jam. He continued to think about things he could learn as he made his way to the Volcano village.
