Ryu looks to Kovu and says "big goof, you just love being on my shoulders." Kovu of course would Lick his face in return.

Lyoko siled as Kari went to her and licked her face adn made herself comfortable in Lyoko's lap. Loka and Yuki were happy playing with the girls a little ways off. "He really does like being up there."

"I know, though would how big he's getting I might make a status of myself, much bigger, for him to have a favored perch once he's full grown." Ryu says with a smirk.

Ryu chuckles and says "true." He then notices it starting to get dark out and says "well I do believe we should head inside." Ryu stands, Kovu still drapped across his shoulders.

"Girls, get the cubs, time to go inside." Okay!" The both whent to their respective cub and they followed the girls obediantly. Lyoko walked with Kari back inside. She handed the blanket and the picnic basket to a maid and waited for Ryu.

Ryu enters with Kovu still draped across his shoulders. Once inside Kovu would jump down and join the other cubs.

Both the grils and the cubs were growing at a remarkable rate. The girls looked to be about six of age right now. Soon they'd be talking like normal people, dress themselves and do everything pretty much on their own. Lyoko didn't know how to feel about that.

Ryu walks up beside Lyoko and says "almost hard to believe how quickly they've grown. Isn't it my dear?"

She sighed and nodded slowly. "All right girls... Up to bed. Daddy and I will be up in a minute to tuck you and the cubs in." The girls nodded and started racing each other. Two of the maids were at the top of the stairs to lead them calmly to their room and help the girls into their night clothes.

When the girls were upstairs, Ryu loops an arm around Lyoko's waist and brings her in close. He gives her a kiss and says "one more day's wait, and then you'll have me for all eternity."

"What worries me is time. YOu have time, I have time. Our girls don't... and that scares me more than anything in the world..." She relaxed as he pet her and breathed in his warm scent. "You have no idea how much it scares me."

Ryu nods and says "I understand your concern my dear, beleive me I do. After tomorrow night, things will change for the better, I promise." That said he leads Lyoko up to their bedroom so that they may rest for the night.
