Yes. Go watch now. Gundam just figured out how real politics work, with multiple factions... unlike the usual thing where everyone lines up on two sides of an argument and runs at one another.

I also strongly suggest Rental Magica, Wolf & Spice, and They Are My Noble Masters. Dragonaut is also fun, but really hard to take seriously.

So... I've compiled my list of things that I need to get signed by each of the AB guests. And I must say it is looking pretty nice. I'll be trying to get one item signed at one of the general admission autograph sessions and the second from the staff only sessions after the con on Sunday (which I must say is one hell of a nice touch, giving you a chance to get something you might normally be too busy working the con to make).

From Greg Ayres I want to get one of my Gravion DVD cases signed (he was Touga), and one of my Full Metal Panic DVDs or mangas... preferably one showing Shinji Kazama, his character. I think Luna's gonna get him to sign Glass Fleet since he's Nowwy.

Monica Rial: Since she's the voice of Lala, I want her to sign one of my Sukuran items. And since she's Kyoko, I'm gonna try to get her signature on one of my FMP items. I think Luna's gonna shoot for Coyote Ragtime (she was Chelsea) and/or Glass Fleet (Sylua).

Brad Swaile: I want his sig on the Black Lagoon cover featuring Rock. And probably some Ranma stuff with Mousse on it. Luna's definitely shooting to get one of her Hikaru no Go covers done... probably one of the ones really focusing on Sai.

Colleen Clinkenbeard - I'm definitely convincing her to sign some of my Sukuran stuff since she's the voice of Tae... and maybe the volume of Suzuka with her character (Yuka Saotome). Luna's probably getting Peach Girl signed, since she's Misao.

Todd Haberkorn: I wanna find a good pic of Nara in my Sukuran manga to get him to sign... as well as one of Yamato from Suzuka. I think Luna's gonna get one of the volumes of Hell Girl for him since he's her favorite character, Ichimokuren.

Michael Sinternickaulas (or however you spell his last name): Gai ******** Shishioh. I think we're both having him sign Gaogaigar stuff.

Friends? No. I did have a fun talk with him at Connecticon 04.

I'd say they're on their way towards figuring out, with earlier episodes showing more development in that area more so than recent ones. It's been mostly melo-dramatic yawning sessions mixed with an occasional awesome fight. Last episode was pretty good, but the show's got a long way to go if it wants to be considered "good" over "mediocre".

Compared to the past politics of some of their other shows this is a massive step forward.

And to be honest, I haven't really found myself bored yet.
