(( That is true... There were so many Kanda chapters, but I think we'll need to see him interact with everyone else more (like Allen and Lavi) to get a solid idea of how he's changed. ))
"Hmmm..." Kiah tapped her pen to her lips in thought before speaking again. "Well, what else could you do? He's the one that put the needle to your throat and almost turn you into... an animal. Plus the most important thing is that everyone's safe, right? I'm sure Liv will get over it." She gave the girl a reassuring smile, still wondering where Liv was with their furry supervisor.

1. She DID throw Komui across the room into the wall...
2. She DOES know magic, etc., so I think it was actually pretty safe for Liv to assume that Mizaka did something to him, even if she did it in the heat of passion and not purposely.

Remember that Mizaka doesn't represent me. I'm just being in character. She's supposed to 14-years-old; young, confused, and still makes a lot of mistakes. So right now, she's just facing a typical teenage problem, and she does feel guilt for what she did; she just doesn't know how to overcome it properly.))

"Oh, she'll pop up around here sometime... I'm sure everything will be fine once you two talk it out," Kiah stated confidently. "Though, it would be nice if she brought Komui back soon. Reever and the others will want to have a look at him as soon as possible."
Turning back to her work, Kiah jumped when she saw that Kanda had appeared next to her without her noticing. "Jeez! Everyone's out to give me a heart attack..." she gasped, holding a hand to her heart and blushing. "Um... what are you doing?" She noticed that he was working on her paperwork and felt more blood flow to her cheeks. "Y-you really don't have to do that. That's not your job..."

Kanda looked up from the papers and then back down before continuing, "Don't make a big deal about it."
Upon hearing Mizaka's teasing line he paused in his writing. Twitching a little, he answered without looking up, "There's just no sense in her doing all this alone. It's counterproductive."

Kiah glared at Mizaka and managed to get the blush off her face before turning back to the table. "We're not... " she mumbled.
Edit: Grabbing a pen and giving Kanda a grateful smile, Kiah started working on the stack with him. "Thanks..." she said quietly. When Mizaka got up like she was about to leave them alone, she felt nervous. "Do you even know where she is?"
(( John: I've been meaning to read them, but someone threw her other book, The Vampire Diaries, at me. ))
