Kiah walked into the Common Room with a larger than normal stack of paperwork, looking a bit more haggard than she had a few days ago. Upon getting help for Komui's disappearance, they'd found that everyone who had been in the search party were no where to be found, along with the supervisor himself. Reever had instantly taken charge and gathered everything up to examine, heading off to the lab immediatly after grabbing the syringe that caused the mess in the first place.

With a sigh, Kiah collapsed into the nearest chair, ready to do all of her extra work. As worried as she was about what could have gone wrong, she was still irritated about all of the extra work she'd acquired in the days following the man's absence, hoping that Reever could work out where he is so she could drag him back. Rubbing her eyes, she set to work on her ridiculously large stack.

(( Well, in short, it started out as a ghost story type of thing where there was moaning throughout the castle, which turned out to be Komui sleepwalking. Then when someone tried to wake him up he went nuts, took someone hostage, got beat, and ended up poking himself with a needle that turned him into a sugar glider. : P Liv's got him now, but Kiah doesn't know that. ))

Startling a bit when she saw Kanda walk by in the corner of her eye, Kiah ended up dropping her pen, wondering how everyone keeps sneaking up on her. Blushing in embarrassment, she quickly ducked under the table to retrieve it, rifling around longer than necessary to avoid eye contact.

"Hello Kanda. Um... How are you this evening?" She wasn't sure if the kiss during Valentine's Day would make everything awkward between them, not that they'd ever really talked much, but she was going to try and proceed as normal. Once her flushed cheeks got back to normal and she could get out from underneath the table again.

Kiah finally grabbed her pen, sure she didn't look too red anymore, and sat up straight in her seat before starting on her work again. "Well, that's good..." She concentrated for awhile until Kanda spoke again, looking up in surprise.

"Well, it's my job. Though I usually don't have this much... Komui disappeared a few days ago, so Reever asked me to pick up the slack..." she realized that Kanda hadn't been around for awhile, and explained further. "We don't know exactly what happened... but long story short, he was stabbed with one of his experiments and we haven't seen him since..."

Kiah couldn't help but share his opinion, thinking more along the lines of any of the man's experiments in general. "As true as that is, we can't have him missing for too long... If someone from Central finds out about this, they'll sent a replacement. I'm sure no one wants that."

She'd been thinking about it more and more as the days went by, and knew that things would get worse for everyone if they didn't find their crazy supervisor soon. She paled a bit at the thought and quickly went back to her work, scribbling furiously.

Mizaka had not been a good mood ever since the Komui incident. She debated with herself this morning on whether or not she should bother leaving her room. After being forcibly kicked out by Franzie for being "too broody," the young girl had no choice but to head to the Common Room, seeing as how that was the only place she wished to be at the moment. Upon entering the room, she immediately saw that she was not going to be alone.

"Hello, Kiah. Hello...Kanda, was it?" Mizaka tried her best to put on a smile, but such things were difficult when one felt as if the whole world was against you. She sat on the nearest chair and looked over at Kiah's paperwork. "That's a lot of dead trees..."

Kanda paused for a second before giving Kiah a curt nod, turning to walk towards the door. He nearly bumped into Mizaka and side-stepped.

"Hello," he nodded before continuing towards the door.
