You can say Mcain was about to die when he dies, cause as far as I know, he's still kicking. Sure, he was old, but you know what? Older people tend to know a little bit about how things work. Why we had a race between a guy who had been in the business for years, and a guy who had been in the business four years, and the four years guy won, I really do not know. Really, the best guy running didn't even make it into the primaries. I can't remember his name, but he was the governor or something of New York, and had the crime rate the lowest it's ever been. HE knew something about how to run s**t.
And pulling out of the war because the enemy said "We won't attack anymore!" would be retarded, considering they are what you call terrorists. They will say whatever they need to say to get you to open up for an attack.
Setting that aside though, I was all for bringing the troops home. Cause if we had, I could probably have expected the war to come home too, and had some fun. Honestly, the s**t people say to make a person look bad has no logical bearing. It's all retarded bullshit that they KNOW people will latch onto and believe, cause they don't know any better.
Kind of like how we can't drill in Alaska cause the oil would destroy the environment. Except, studies have proven that animals living near the pipelines FLOURISH. Try and figure that one out.

Oh no, please continue. I'll only stop it if it evolves to personal attacks and name calling, or degrading of one's political beliefs. Healthy debate is the greatest type of discussion.

Ok, Since Gregar gives his permission...
I really disliked Mcain, for the simple fact that he knew Herbert Walker, And I thought that he would send America Spiraling down, plus if he had died in office you guys would have probably Impeached Palin.
And on the Governor of new york... Jerry Springer? { Or he was the mayor of New york... }
The Iraq people never attacked you until you entered Iraq. You just wanted them to stop attacking Kuwait, because Kuwait had Oil. { Not sure why, Because Bush and King Abudabi { Or whatever his name is } were basically raised together, so you had Saudi arabia on your side. }
The Troops should have never left. It just didn't make sense, now if Kuwait had actually asked for help, not you guys asking if they needed it, then it would have been all well and fine. Because then you all could have spent time Training the army { I use army as a broad term } And then you could have solved the crisis more easily. { although I wish you guys would have used the Truman method... Bombing them xD }
Actually you guys do drill around Alaska, Not entirely sure why you guys say you can't. It isn't like Siberia with you, you actually aren't that perma frosted, If any. But yeah, Idk why you guys don't just make the pipeline go deeper.

How come you keep interchanging Us and You?
I don't know much about Herbert, since I was born in the latter years of his presidency, but I really don't see how association with a previous president could be seen as a bad thing. Actually, the one thing I do know about him, is that he also ran a war against Al Quaeda, but was forced to withdraw the troops, allowing them to build up again and attack us. I really don't see how that speaks badly about anyone but whoever he had holding him back.
Jerry Springer? Isn't he that guy from some retarded TV show?
We went to Iraq because that's where Al Quaeda was hanging out. I don't remember all the details about various points of the war, but i do know that Bin Ladin was in Iraq, and oddly enough, Al Quaeda is still there, fighting our troops. Don't remember anything about Kuwait being involved.
Bombing is a wonderful attack method. When your target is in one centralized location, with no allies around. I seem to recall a lot of complaints by the media about soldiers bombing towns, even though it never happened, and it got everyone pretty upset.
We drill in Alaska, yes, but not as much as we could. We can't, because people claim it would ruin the environment. Well, that, and because the democrats don't want us to use oil anymore, for whatever reason. I'm going with them most likely wanting only them to be able to drive cars. It's not a natural obstacle stopping us, it's political. We'd have total oil independency if not for that.

Actually, Jerry Springer was mayor of Cincinnati, not New York. And he's actually an extremely fascinating man. I wrote a paper on him.

Interesting political debate. Shira shall join: =D
First off, I'd like to say that I always loved Bush. I thought he was a fabulous President. One reason being that when 9/11 hit, not many people could work fast and efficiently under enormous amounts of pressure. Not only did the entire nation shut down, but also most of the world. That's not easy to deal with.
To top that off, Bush didn't heed to the demands of Congress, and he did what was right. You always hear about in the news, about how more soldiers are being placed in the Middle East, and that turns around and the heat is on Bush. You know the whole "shame on him, for spending more money on people that will die due to suicide bombers." What you rarely hear about in the news, is the fact that the soldiers didn't want to return home, because the Middle East was so shitty, that they thought, "Dear God. This could be my children having to live through this." and told the President that if he thought that he was going to send them home, he could go f*ck himself.
News reports are so poisonous, because they're only suppose to report the bad stuff, and half the time it's exaggerated. If you Googled "Good things soldiers have done in the Middle East" all you get is news reports, saying this solider blew up, and that one. You don't hear the good things. Rarely. You have to dig for it, and naturally being an American, we're too lazy to do s**t. And because of that, Americans turned to the leader and put all the heat on him.
Third, Bush did not cause the "economic crisis" we are in now. Bush had no control over the banks and their loaning habits. Why would that be any concern to the president at all. It was the Clinton administration that allowed banks to push forward into "risky deals". Not Bush.
Another thing that pisses me off about the fact that people hate Bush, is that Hurricane Katrina severally hurt Bush's approval ratings. I don't understand why. How was Bush suppose to know about the levee situation in New Orleans? He issued a "State of emergency" and opened up the emergency funds. That's is all the President is entitled to do. Plus, what was Bush suppose to do? Use his superpowers to stop Katrina from hitting? The evacuation of the city and obvious building flaws of the levees were the responsibility of the mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana.
To end my argument thing, all I have to say about Obama, is that he had SEVEN MONTHS of political experience under his belt when he was voted in my America. And the only reason that he was voted in, was because he was black. Yes, I said it. He was voted in because the Electoral College, didn't want to be called racist for voting McCain in, and stating that the only reason Obama wasn't voted in was because he was black. Where, I can get where that would come from, seeing how that would open an entirely new prospect on things and cause more issues than it was worth; and even start rebellions against the government, law suits, and what not; the fact of the matter is, is that Obama wasn't voted in because he was good he was voted in because he was black.
I rest my case.
