"The curse?" Cerri asked, a little unsure of what he was asking. "If I'm right in what I'm thinking, we can give her a month or two, long enough for us to find a way to stop it. If I'm wrong... maybe three weeks. Is that what you wanted to know?" Then she looked to Ukaia, smiling a bit. "Not right now, honey; it's nothing that can be healed by one person, or even three; the magic required to heal it is astronomical... but you might be able to help like Arlen, if I can get everything worked out right."

Arlen nodded as he listened to Cerri. "How long will it take you?" he asked, focusing on Lily right now and not noticing Ukaia.

"I'll know by tomorrow... or rather, this afternoon for sure." Cerri answered quietly. "I'll be back in the evening at the latest. Keep her comfortable, and try to get her to eat as much as you can. The fever will take off a lot of her weight."

Cerri went over to him, then kissed the top of his head. "I'll be back; try to get some sleep." she murmured, nodding to Ukaia. "You'll be alright here if I go now, right?" she asked, watching him carefully.
"How is she, sweet?" Vincent asked groggily, wrapping his arms around her.

Arlen nodded again, calling up the White Flame and sending it into Lily's body to do what it could to help her if it could do anything at all.

Ukaia curled up aginst him
"It .. i don't know much but iw as listening for a few moments outside the door.. it sounds not so good " she said quietly
"But cerri thinks she knows how to cure her" she added snuggling ginst him contentedly..
"Go to sleep love we'll find out more tomorrow ok" she said soflty.. having no intention of sleeping.. not till early light once more

Cerri gently clasped his shoulder, squeezing gently, then left the room. Walking quickly, she headed out into the night and the rain.
The White Flame did seem to ease some of the lines of pain around her face, but all it could do was relieve the symptoms, not get rid of the source. The teen stirred a bit, then cracked a lid, looking at Arlen. "Hey... I'm sorry..." she croaked out.
"Okay, sweet... we'll find out tomorrow." Then, golden eyes on her face, Vincent paused. "I... haven't been around much, and I've missed being intimate with you." he whispered. "I don't know if this is the proper time to resume that, but if it would help get your mind off worrying so much, I don't need to sleep right away."

Lily nodded and closed her eye, then frowned, shifting a bit. When she couldn't get comfortable, she looked at Arlen beseechingly, reaching for him. "Stay with me?" she asked, needing to cuddle with him.

Ukaia blinked.. and then blushed feriously from the sudden question
"I.. um" she stuttered blushing more as she realized this was an area she was an expert at.. and he had her acting like a silly owner on his first use
"Yes.. please?" she finally managed to breath out. Oh how she'd longed for that.. just form him..

"I will leave you," Arlen said, climbing into bed with her and wrapping his arms around her. Already she feels so frail to him.
((Awww.. he was gonna fall asleep holding her hand like in all those cheesy scenes where somebody's loved one is in a coma or something.))

"Alright then." Vincent smiled at her warmly, then kissed her deeply, holding her close to him. He'd missed her; her warmth, her scent... everything.
"I love you. No matter what happens. I love you." Lily whispered, putting her head on his shoulder, eyes shut again. Soon, she was asleep, temperature starting to climb.
