Well k...
When you ask me why I love you, I can't think of what to say,
But baby, when I'm with you, you just take my breath away.
Why you would want to know is quite a mystery to me,
But I love you and suppose I have to answer truthfully.
When I'm with you my emotions soar, like birds and angels do,
So compassion is the first thing I need to explain to you.
Compassion means that when you're hurt I feel your pain times ten,
And that when you cry I'll hold you till your pain comes to an end.
If joy I feel when I'm with you is something you don't get,
It means I feel my life is perfect and that I have no regrets.
When you leave my side, I feel love then, too,
The great affection that I feel and wanted to show to you.
Affection means I want to show you just what loving means,
So in this poem it seems that I needed to come clean.
I love you for your smile; it can brighten up my day,
I love you when you laugh at all the stupid jokes I say.
I love you when I hold you and you cuddle by my side
I love you when you hold my hand; its then I proudly stride.
I love when I look into your eyes and you return my gaze
I love the way you light my life when troubles form a haze.
It's these things that tell me that no matter what I do
I know I can't be happy with anyone but you.
I want to feel this happiness for the rest of my days,
I want to be with you and show my love in every single way.
You asked me why I love you and that you needed to know,
That if I couldn't tell you, you'd break up with me and go.
You said if I can't tell you, our relationship will sever
