Liv walked closely next to Kiah, as the light from her candle didn't reach very far. She thought she heard something behind them and stopped for a moment, listening hard, her heart beating a little faster, "Kiah...I think someone else is here too...let's...turn back around really quick...double back..." she whispered before turning around and heading in the direction from whence they came.

((Let me narrate that face for Cross: "GIRLS WITH ALMOST NO CLOTHES ON? BD I MUST JOIN." ))
Sil still crept rather quietly down the hallway, her only light coming from the moon basking the hallway in front of her in a dull blue light. Even in her sleep she had been snuggled into a loose black shirt that she had stolen from God-knows-who, the vast expanses of her chilled golden skin paled in the odd lighting. The only thing colored correctly were the shards of Innocence in her wrist, which always seemed to glow with a light, eerie green, like two snake eyes peering out of the dark.
The sound of footsteps put her on alert, but the scent of cigarette smoke enveloped her before she had the chance to be afraid. It was a comforting fragrance for her, as the brand was known well to be her General's. "Isshou?" She whispered quietly, as if her voice might alert whatever was wailing and crying of her presence. The cigarette between his lips slightly illuminated his face. "It woke you up, too?"

"Alright, but quickly. We don't want to lose whatever it is that's making that noise..." Kiah quickly followed behind Liv, tightening her hand on her gun until it turned white, thinking she'd heard footsteps before. She picked up her pace until she was at Liv's side and kept glancing behind them, afraid they would be jumped.

Soma couldn't make out any words, he just kept heading in the same direction. He turned a corner and saw a faint light that grew brighter, even as he took a break, leaning against the wall. His throat was dry and scratchy. He tried to speak but could only muster a deep groan.

Damn, this darkness was annoying. The light of the moon barely lit up the hallway and Mizaka's eyes refused to adjust to the darkness. Biting her lip, she listened closely to her surroundings. Suddenly, she thought she heard voices coming not too far away from where she stood. She turned around and tried to locate the direction of the voices.
"Lux."
Mizaka felt her body become warmer as the blue light of her Magic engulfed her. Lighting herself up like a human flashlight, Mizaka could now see her surroundings more clearly.

"Yes. I tried going back to sleep, but whatever atrocity is causing that moaning has succeeded in keeping me from my dreams," he chuckled.
Smiling at the familiar sight of her, he was amused by her rabbit. Her hair was obviously messed from a deep sleep, but he still found it charming. He looked past her into the darkness, almost expecting to see Lavi standing there protectively. However, he was nowhere to be seen and he frowned slightly.
"Are you alone out here?"

Liv kept walking and was almost to where she was sure there was a person until she heard the groan. She stopped in her tracks and waited for a minute, but then shook her head and told herself there was nothing for her to be afraid of. She continued on, and the pair of girls were finally upon Soma, leaning against the wall. Liv put a hand on her hip with her teddy still tucked under it, "What are you doing just standing around? We have a ghost to be catching! Or something..."

Mizaka continued on walking towards the direction of the voices, her bat ready for use. She was soon able to make out three figures in front of her, but then realized who they were.
"Extinguere."
The blue light faded away from Mizaka's body and she stood in front of Liv, Kiah, and Soma.
"Sup. Did those noises wake you up as well?"

Kiah heard the groan and took a step back, tensing up for something to come out of the darkness after them. She warily followed Liv and heard her talking to someone, looking over her shoulder and spotting Soma. Her eyes instantly narrowed and she blused while tried covering herself up more, feeling uncomfortable in her current attire. "So are you coming with us too, then?"
Watching a glowing Mizaka coming towards them, Kiah waved to her happily, glad that she couldn't exactly surprise them. "Hey. Yeah, we're going to try and find out what it is. You in?"

Liv mouthed his words, mimicking him with a gross expression on her face before responding properly, "Calm down."
When Mizaka soon joined them she smiled, "Hey there. Yeah, us too...it's coming from the Science Department...just a whole lot of crying and wailing..."
She looked at the two newcomers and jerked her head to signal them to join her and Kiah. Turning around, she started back towards the labs.

Mizaka huffed and swung her bat.
"Hell yeah I'm in. Those noises ruined my beauty sleep. Whoever's responsible is going to have to face my wrath." She turned around and followed Liv.

"Of course I'm alone," she actually seemed a little confused by Cross's offhanded question, since if she were in her room then who else would-- oh. There was no surety that was what he had meant, and she quickly ignored what could have been implied there. "I woke up too, and... as you know, once I'm awake, I'm awake. For a few hours anyway. I figured I might as well get some Godly retribution on whoever is making such a ruckus." Sil punched one of her fists into the cupped palm of her hand with a soft smack, hoping that whatever was making such noise was actually punchable.
The young woman heard the noise again, a shiver slithering down her spine, raising goosebumps along her bared legs and arms. "... I... think it's coming from the Science Division..." She glanced at Cross, finding herself surprised now that she was close to him that he hadn't dressed fully before heading out himself. He must have really thought whatever it was, was no problem. "Should we head that way...?" Now that he was here, she wasn't planning on running off on her own, no way. Sil cautiously took a step in that direction, though she kept her eyes cast backwards-- her bare feet made almost no noise against the stone and that she was thankful for.
