Lavi made his way through the quiet corridors, hands in his pockets. He hadn't seen many people lately, keeping to himself as he processed Liv's sudden news. Now that he knew that she was planning on telling the rest at some point, he had emerged from his room again, feeling less guilty about keeping the secret to himself. He had been wanting to see Sil, and instead of waiting until morning where they would probably be around other people again he decided to visit her room. When he approached her door, he extracted one hand from his pocket and knocked on the wood, hoping he wouldn't be waking her up.

Sil hadn't been expecting any visitors, especially so late into the evening, and though she was a night owl that loved to use late night for working, at some point she had fallen asleep. Lavi wouldn't be the first or last person to knock on her door, as the Science Division laughed at the idea of "hours" and "personal time." With an easy movement she dislodged the sleeping cat from where he had made bed along the curve of her back, and opened the door without a second thought and a soft yawn.
"Oh s**t," Sil said without thinking as she saw Lavi standing there, as it had honestly not crossed her mind. Had it, she would have paid a whole lot more attention to how she looked when she rolled out of bed. She had been expecting one of the guys from the Science Division, and to be frank she didn't give two damns if she looked awful in front of them. Lavi on the other hand was a different story, and she quickly and very obviously combed her fingers through her mussed curls to smooth them a little more. "Ah... Hi," she smiled a little bashfully before opening the door wide, her stomach fluttering with the pleasantness of the little surprise of seeing him. "You can come in if you want. I'm surprised to see you of all people up and about still."

Those weren't the first words he'd expected her to say and he blinked a little, wondering if he'd come at a bad time, but when she hastily started to tame her bed hair he realized it wasn't so much displeasure but more his sudden visit that had taken her aback. It made him smile a little, thinking she really didn't have to bother so much for his sake.
"Sorry, did I wake you?" He stepped into her room and turned to look at her, shrugging a little at her words. "Yeah, I've been having some trouble sleeping lately."

After he had entered, she leaned carefully against the door and eased it closed behind still smiling a little to herself. "I just laid down for a minute, nothing to apologize for. Out of all the options of who I thought would be standing outside my door, you are definitely the most pleasant and welcome of them."
The slight shrug and the mention of troubled sleeping caught her attention, and she tilted her head with slight concern. Even though her first instinct had been to embrace him, she simply reached out her hands with open palms to offer them to him. "That doesn't sound much like you," she said softly, and even though she was hesitant to ask she couldn't help herself. If there was some way she could help, she wanted to know: "Any particular reason...?"

His hands closed around hers when she held them out to him and he squeezed them a little, smiling fondly at her.
"Hm..." He mused, as if the reason wasn't very clear to him, either. He wouldn't talk to her about Liv before she had gathered up the courage to tell Sil herself, but he wanted her company to comfort him nonetheless, even if she didn't know she was doing it. "Maybe I was just missing you?" He offered instead with a grin, and it wasn't exactly a lie. With a slight tug on her hands he pulled her towards him and he let go of them to carefully wrap his arms around her shoulders instead. "Sillie-deprivement and all that, you know..."

That lovely smile and the squeeze of his hands instantly lifted that slight feeling of concern right off of her shoulders. It was something she deeply loved about Lavi; he made it so easy to believe that nothing was wrong in their twisted, backwards world, and in this moment everything in her universe felt like it was neatly coming together. Even if reality was a far cry from the traditional norm, it was wonderful to feel some reprieve from worries and simply live in a moment.
"Ohhhh..." Sill hummed, easily falling into an embrace with her own arms wrapping around him with a gentle laugh as joy warmed her. The arms brought with them a sense of fulfillment as a void in her disappeared, filled with the affection that she had been craving. "I see. That is a very serious condition indeed," she said as gravely as she possibly could, as if a concerned doctor looking after a patient. "I'm afraid you might have an addiction. Isn't it true you lived the first seventeen or so years of your life without a single Sillie-withdrawal? It's never a good idea to try Sillie's when you don't know how you'll react to them." She clicked her tongue disapprovingly, as if he had caused her some disappointment, but her face couldn't stay serious for long and she soon broke out into a bright smile. As her own arms wound around his middle, she leaned her chin onto his chest so she could turn her eyes upwards towards him. "Whatever will we do with you? We may have to put you down~"
((... My Xbox 360 just turned itself on... and the tray opened by itself... q.q
*Screams and dives into bed before the boogieman gets her.* ))
