Sil actually smiled at Jerry's words, though it was a small one. No one had really given her any support on her decision, though that was partially her fault for not wanting to talk about it. Even the smallest reassurance that if she felt it was the right choice then it was still the right choice to have been made. "Thank you Jerry, I needed to hear something like that," she said, taking his hand in hers to give it a firm squeeze. "As for the change, well... I honestly believe it would have come about anyway. He's a good man, he just... hides it well."
Her hand fell away from his then, taking another scoop of the cookie dough and curling her tongue around the delightful treat. "But... enough about that... No need to live in the past, right?" She tilted her head a little bit with a much brighter look, as if a weight had been lifted speaking about it in the smallest facet.

Jerry pursed his lips a little but left it at that. He fished around in his mind for something else to talk about, and realized Valentine's Day was coming up soon, "What are you plans for Valentine's this year~?"

Sil laughed gently at the transition, not surprised that Jerry asked such a question. "Well Jerry, even though you don't believe that my social life is completely and totally boring, this should convince you," she tapped her long nails gently along the counter top as if doing a drum roll. "My Valentine's day plans are.... to take a nice long bath while no one else is around, and go to bed early~ I'm being extra romantic, to myself. Maybe I'll even put rose petals strewn around everywhere with candlelight," she teased airly. Though her plans were not solidified, she wasn't upset that they weren't some romantic dream. It wasn't a realistic expectation with the way her current relationship was needing to be conducted, though that hadn't stopped her from working tirelessly on a small gift for Lavi.

"Oh hell no," she wrinkled her nose as if she hadn't even thought of participating. "I managed to avoid getting wrangled into doing that, but I've been told that I may be doing some other job for him, which frightens me, I have to say." She leaned a little more onto her elbows, seeming to deeply consider his words about it being some plot to kill off the men. Komui did have a habit of being a little overzealous against his gender, especially if they were a bleep on his sister-complex radar.
"Not kill them... maybe he's trying to pair all the men off so they're so preoccupied with their new girls that they'll not look at Lenalee," she wiggled her fingers mystically. "It's a silly endeavour. Lenalee is far too adorable to stay single forever. Komui just needs to accept it and leave those poor boys alone. I think a good few of them already have girls they have their eyes on."
With that last thought, she smiled and stood. "Well, thanks for the chat Jerry, but I think it's time for me to call it a night... Don't work too hard, huh? We wouldn't know what to do without you around here," she gave Jerry a gentle punch in the shoulder before heading towards the door. "Goodnight, and I hope your Valentine's day is full of your own romance~"
