Pippa nodded to Morrow and then looked back to Taqune. "No Taqune he wouldn't...he already beats himself up for not saving me when we were younger...why would he turn on me now after going through all kinds of hell to find me? Why don't you stop trying to make each other mad and get to know one another?" Shaking her head she looked to the ground disappointedly as she ran a hand through Tatsu's hair. Taking a deep breath she let it out as a sigh then looked around the room with her deep blue eyes and then leaned back against the wall and closed them.

Taqune looked at Pippa his ears falling back against his head,"I guess we should try and become friends.I am willing to for your sake Pippa if not for his or mine."Taqune looked at Marrow then back to Pippa,"we are going to go for now Pippa,but we will meet again soon Marrow needs to get to her room."Taqune smiled and stood taking Marrows hand as they walked of the training room and to their respective sleeping areas.

Tatsu's focus trailed off as Pippa ran her fingers through his hair. He knew that Taqune wasn't an enemy, but he hated him. He could never forgive Taqune, and he knew that each time he thought like that, Twilight was getting the better of him. He sighed and thought, Pippa... I'm sorry.... His eyes closed and he went limp as he fell asleep, the blood still dribbling down his chin.
Vain walked out of thin air behind Pippa, crouching down next to her as he said, "You know, the lecher neko is right. This boy is too angry. He'll try to kill you one day, and fail or succeed, he'll kill himself afterwards. It might be best to leave him." Vain grinned as he sat down against the wall. "You know, I found some stuff on his family. His family has a long line of forgetting stuff. You know: names, people, other junk. They just remember new stuff in place of it all. Pretty soon, he may forget not being able to save you. He'll think he actually succeeded. But it won't be long after that when he forgets who you are in general. The only things he will be able to hold onto is his hatred. He'll remember people like Taqune forever, and he'll always want to kill them." Vain snickered as he added, "There is no way you can quench his thirst for blood. It's in his lineage... The Legacy of the Dragon's Kin."

Pippa only kissed Tatsu softly as he fell asleep then she glared at Vain who had come from out of no where. Her blue eyes were full of hate she was in no mood to be bothered byVain. "Why don't you leave? If he kills me he kills me...and if something happens to me then it does why do you have to but in. " She moved her hand so quick at his face aiming for his nose to punch it but she wasn't sure if that is where it would make impact. "Leave me and Tatsu alone...." Growling she softly began to hum for Tatsu once more to calm herself as she acted like Vain wasn't even there.

Vain grinned as he brought his hand up and caught Pippa's attack, slowly beginning to crush her fist after catching it. "I am here because I am meant to be here, little girl. Tatsu has become my number one priority, because despite my knowledge for most of everything in existence, the details of the Legacy of the Dragon's Kin is not in it. He is my guinea pig, and I intend to understand what exactly he is... But more importantly, what this Twilight is. It exceeds the power of anything I've ever seen, and it seems to feed off his emotions." Vain let go of Pippa's hand and snickered a little. "His powers even exceed that of a god... A god, girl! He, without even asking for it, has enough power to even kill a god!" Vain stood up, looking down at Tatsu.
"He is, without a doubt, the most dangerous little thing I've ever seen... I'm not even sure one of my bombs could kill him. To think what he would do..." Vain vanished repearing behind Pippa, running his fingers through her hair. "... If I killed you? Your death in particular might spark the end of the world as we know it... And that to me is just amazing." Vain vanished again, not reappearing this time. "Try to understand my position in this mess, girl... I am a pursuer of knowledge, and I've found something I know nothing of."
Tatsu's body twitched a little as Vain vanished, too much in a daze to understand his words. He was too weak to even open his eyes, but sill had enough strength to think. Pippa...

As Vain started to crush her hand she staired him in the eye and didn't wince. You could hear bones cracking and some even breaking under the force but she still did not make a face as she was used to physical pain, it was the mental pain that she couldn't handle. She glared as he disappeard and she just laid that hand in her lap in an empty space close to Tatsu's head and kept petting his head with the other hand. "If you were to kill me i'm sure you wouldn't have enough time to even try something before Tatsu would kill you....so I guess you could say I'm a needed token in your expadition....kill me and you get nothing..." Pippa didn't want to help Vain but she had to do something so that he would leave them alone. After Vain vanished for the last time she went back to humming and she whispered to him. "It's ok Tatsu...everything's fine for now..." The hand that Vain had crushed was somewhat deformed looking as it lay in her lap. Some of the bones poked up against the skin as his hand was large enough to wrap around hers more then once. Fingers were slightly displaced but she still didn't make a peep which was odd for being hurt so badly.

Tatsu opened his eyes and struggled to move to a more comfortable position. He couldn't move, not even an inch. He sighed, deciding to enjoy the attention from Pippa, when he noticed her hand. Pippa?... You're hand... what happened? Tatsu tried to sit up for a better view, but again failed in moving at all. Twilight began to pour into his eyes as he tried to get up again. Pippa... What happened?

"Please calm yourself Tatsu it was nothing major...I'll be fine...It doesn't even hurt..." She gave him a sweet smile as she hummed some more. "You need to rest or you'll never be able to get up you know? So please do not stress yourself out more over something so little..." Her lips lightly pressed against his cheek as she smiled to him a beautiful there is nothing wrong smile then pulled her head back to watch him hoping that he would calm down for she didn't like him being in the twilight state.

Tatsu's hand twitched as he slid it over to Pippa's hand. Pippa, this power... Can do more than kill. Tatsu's hand became enveloped in blue energy as he placed his hand on top of Pippa's. Tatsu's eyes began to slowly close as the energy traveled from his hand to Pippa's, regenerating her hand. Tatsu lifted his hand up to Pippa'scheek, rubbing her skin softly as he smiled. Pippa.. Our daughter will be so proud of her skin... Tatsu had no clue what he was thinking, due to lack of energy, but deep inside it was what he wanted. He wanted to be with Pippa forever.

Pippa shook her head and pulled her hand back and looked at him. "I don't want you to do that..." Holding it tightly against her chest she sighed softly as he ran his hand down her cheek. "Like I said I will be fine....I do not want you to use Twilight on me....." Turning her head to the side she looked at the ground then back to him. "It takes too much out of you and it calls Vain when you use it....I don't want him to come back...not right now maybe later but not now.." Taking a deep breath she softly kissed him and then let her hurt hand fall back to her lap with no regards to it getting hurt even worse.

Tatsu shut his eyes and sighed. His hand fell from Pippa's face and his body went half limp. His body suddenly surged with energy as he slid into an upright position.He leaned against the wall and coughed a little, still slightly tired from using the Twilight. You know, my mother died so I would have this power... She died so I could protect the ones I cared for. That's why she willingly allowed my grandfather to imbue me with Twilight. So I could protect, but... look at me. I hurt more than I protect. Tatsu opened his eyes and looked at Pippa. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore. I don't want this violent side of me anymore. All I want to do is protect you, Pippa, but... I'm not strong enough. Tatsu lifted his arm up, wiping away the crusted blood away from his chin. I can't even control my own anger... Tatsu leaned forward, hugging Pippa as he did. But I'll try to control it. For you, Pippa. To protect you.

"Tatsu you're more then strong enought to battle anyone and win...and it's ok that you can't controll your anger we can work on that. She lightly layed her head on his shoulder and smiled slightly. "Sometimes you have to hurt to protect Tatsu...and that's ok because I know you're really good and kind hearted deep down inside." A soft purr escaped her lips as she listened to his heart and talked at the same time. "Everything will be ok in the end I know it will be.." She hugged him back tightly as she smiled and gave him a small kiss on the lips and layed her head back on his shoulder.

Tatsu sighed as he thought, Pippa, to fix my anger would be like pulling out my heart. Not in the sense that it makes me me, but in the sense that it stems directly from the Twilight. Tatsu's arms fell limp as he leaned back against the wall with Pippa hugging him. And the Twilight is more involved in my body than anyone would ever wish. Every part of my body is hyper charged by the Twilight, which is why I have an abnormal pulse and why I could eat as much as I ever wanted and not gain a pound. My heart is hyper-charged, as well as my metabolision, and every other part of my body. Luckily, though, I was born into this world already accustomed to it, otherwise I would've died from a heart attack before I was even born. But, if this power vanishes, my body wouldn't know what to do... I would go brain-dead from lakc of oxygen and blood to my brain, and that's the best-case scenerio. I'd also go into a form of hybernation due to lack of blood throught my entire body, and that is, again, the best-case scenerio.
The hand Tatsu had used to catch Vain's punch the other day twitched slightly as he continued. My body would be going to slow for my state of mind. So without this anger that sleeps within me, I would surely die.Tatsu held onto Pippa again, his hand still twitching. This is one thing I don't want anyone else to have. Not to make me special, but to ensure that this powerful anger never spreads. The Twilight is the thing I fear having passed down to a son or daughter... Out of my entire life, it was neither my father nor my grandfather that ruined it... It was the anger I had for them. The anger that stemmed from the Twilight...
Pippa... If we 'fix' my anger, I'll die. If we don't, whoever inherits my lineage would suffer as I have suffered... My only option is to not have children but... I want the Sousei name to live on...

Pippa looked to him and pulled away, she watched him for a few moments. "I do not want you to "fix" it Tatsu, I just wish to help you be able to control it and be able to use it at your will...there has to be some way...and Tatsu..." She paused not sure exactly how she wanted to finish what she was saying. "any way either of us go about it if we ever had children they would suffer...." Standing she turned away from him and walked towards a door she was somewhat upset but she didn't know why, this was one of those rare times that she just wanted to be alone. Pushing on the door she slightly shook her head some and glanced back at him. "Its a legacy Tatsu and sometimes people have to suffer to achieve greatness...." The hand that Vain had broken was pressed against the door, it was the one she had been using to open it, and now it looked even more broken but she didn't seem bothered by it. "Trust me...I know about pain...." Closing her eyes she pushed on out the door which lead into another room. Tears had welled up in her eyes but she wouldn't let them go past that point. Finding another door that was an exit she slowly leaned into it so that it would open. With a creak the courtyard was exposed and she quickly made her way out that door letting it slam shut behind her.

Tatsu watched as Pippa fled to the courtyard, but he was unable to follow. After she left, he stared down at the ground, his eyes slowly filling up with Twilight. Why do things have to be so difficult for me? And for Pippa? Why is it that whenever stuff like this happens, it gravitates towards people like us? People who've had enough hardships in their lives? A blue outline of energy appeared on Tatsu's body as his eyes began to glow brighter and brighter. Why do bad things always have to happen to people? Why can't people just live their lives peacefully? Tatsu stood up, the activation of the Twilight making him stronger. I'll use the Twilight to help those in need, and punish those who derserve punishment. Judgment is reserved only for the rulers of the afterlife... I'm here to send people to judgment. Tatsu grabbed his sword, resting it on his shoulder. He smiled and thought, I'll kill all those who deserve judgment.
