Her wings stretched out, well the right one did, and started to flutter nervously at his words. Slowly, Rose lifted her head to look at him, surprise obvious in her eyes as she gazed down at him. "I-I'm.. not sure if I heard you correctly," she told him, biting on her bottom lip as she kept purring. Her tail was nervously flickering against his waist at the tip while now both wings were fluttering about. Her heart was pounding even harder now as she waited to see if she had heard him correctly.

Glancing down at her, getting a bit used to the idea himself, he smiled and drew circles on her hip. "I said I'm in love with you," he told her, smiling all the more as he waited for her response. Yes, they had only met earlier in the day, but he meant it. He'd never been so sure of anything in his life. He was in love with this girl and wasn't afraid of saying it. "Did you hear me that time," he asked her, slowly unwrapping his tail from her legs and purring ever-so-faintly.

Blinking again in surprise, she felt her heart skipping a beat before she lowered herself against him more and nuzzling his nose more. She was tempted to make a joke, but knew it wasn't the right time and would ruin things... "I did hear you," she told him, whispering softly to him before purring even louder. Biting down on her bottom lip, she knew he was expecting her to say it back to him... but she couldn't say it without being completely sure and knowing she shared those feelings for him. Closing her eyes as she thought about how she felt for him and how he made her feel, just the way he looked at her and touched her... It was all so quick and sudden... but she knew deep down that it was right and true. "How come you make me feel like how I did when I was in love for the first time," she asked him, smiling softly before purring louder trying to encourage him to do the same. "I... I'm falling in love with you, too, Loke," she told him, barely whispering nose as she slowly opened her eyes to look at him. After saying it out loud to him, she was even more sure of how she was feeling... why she felt like this, she didn't know. It was all odd and crazy to her, but she was happy.. and this was better then even when she had been in love for the first time; when everything was new and different.

Hearing her question, he shrugged. He didn't know how to answer her in the least. "I took a love potion," he joked with her, scooting down on the bed so they were near face-to-face. He waited for an answer from her, taking his arm back and turning on his side so he could support his head. At the same time, he moved his free hand along her leg, petting her lovingly. "So, are you feeling the same," he asked her only moments before hearing her answer. His heart was pounding in his chest at her answer and very happily the wings on his head began to flutter. His tail swaying against her leg, he leaned in closer to her, resting his head on her shoulder now and wrapping his arms about her waist once more. "Promise," he asked her, glancing up after kissing her jawline.

Watching him turning onto his side, she rolled flat onto her back, but kept her head turned to look at him. Purring more as her tail started to flicker about happily, she relaxed at his petting. Her hand reached out and idly ran along his side once again, playing with his thick and soft fur. Gently tugging on him, she purred more feeling his head on her shoulder while she tried to get him to cuddle closer against her and lay as she had been laying on him. "I don't usually make promises," she told him, biting on the inside of her lip as she tried to keep some memories at bay before letting her eyes shut and speaking again. "But this... I can promise you," she finally told him, turning her head to rest it against his and purring all the more.

He nuzzled against her neck, letting his leg dangle over hers as he heard her very calming words. "So.. about that date," he whispered, smiling faintly. "Were you going to dress up all pretty for me," he asked her, chuckling against her neck. He was teasing, of course, but that didn't stop him from joking with her. Yawning against her neck, he arched his back, stretching before pulling her closely against him. Before too long he was drifting off into sleep, where hopefully, for the first time in a long time, he wouldn't have those awful nightmares.

Laughing softly at his joke, she purred more and cuddled against him even more then she had been. After he had fallen asleep, Rose laid curled up beside him, almost laying on him as if she was watching over him. Finally... when she felt like she couldn't stay any longer, she let herself drift off to sleep. Her tail was wrapped about his, as was her arms and legs.

Waking up the next morning, he'd unraveled himself from her sometime throughout the night, and was lying on his back looking up at the ceiling. After a quick sway of his tail he arched his back in a stretching manner, letting his wings flare and his toes curl. Almost in a daze, he could hardly remember what went on the night before, and for the first time in eons he didn't have those gutwrenching nightmares. Slowly, he rolled over onto his side to spy Rose. Carefully, he slipped his arms around her and tugged her closer to him, getting practically in the same position they were in last night as he drifted off to sleep. Chuckling lightly, he leaned up and kissed her on the cheek, feeling her furry cheek against his lip and blushing lightly. "Wake up, silly." he said to her. It was still pretty early, and he wouldn't mind getting a bit more sleep himself, but after such a wonderful night, he was quite well-rested and ready to tackle whatever faced him that day.

Feeling something warm and furry curling about her, she snuggled against it in a daze before yawning now. "Mm... sleep," she murmured to him before yawning at him again, still not moving out of her curled up position. Finally after a few more moments, she carefully and slowly started to uncurl her body and stretch out beside him. Arching her back as she did so, she heard a few bones popping and stretching before rolling onto her back. As he had done, she got a peaceful night's sleep.. probably the first in months. There was no dreams about being beaten or hit that night, which she was more then grateful. Letting her mind go back to the day before, she thought about how close they became in so short of time. Not regretting anything they did, she cuddled closer to him again and wrapped her arms about him and grinned up at him. "Morning," she finally told him, playing with his tail with her's now.

Chuckling at her murmured words, he nudged his nose against against her neck before unwrapping himself from her a bit. Watching her intently as she stretched, and hearing her various joints popping, he purred before moving his tail to her nose, tickling her playfully with his tuft. Wrapping back around her now, he held her tightly and smiled down at her like an idiot. "Morning. Sleep well, I take it," he asked her, trying to keep his tail playfully away from hers as she tried to coil it around his.

Wrinkling her nose at his playful antics already, she shook her head at him before sticking out her tongue. "Morning person are you," she asked him, smiling softly before yawning again. Feeling his tail teasing her's, she pouted faintly before wrapping it about his leg instead. "Best in a long time," she told him, tilting her head up to peer up at him again. "How about you," she asked him, moving to nuzzle his neck and purr even more with him. The edge of her tail playfully swatted at his thigh while she listened to his words. "I think a shower could wake me up," she told him, wondering if he would still join her or not.

"Somewhat,"he answered to her first question, nudging his nose against her furry collarbone.Hearing her pouting he laughed and finally wrapped his tail around hers in a gentle manner. Hearing her question, his ears twitched and he thought about how he hadn't slept that well in a long, long time. "That was the best sleep I'd had in years," he assured her, tilting his head to give her more room as he closed his eyes. Feeling her tail swat his thigh, he let out a playful laugh before holding her against him, nodding in agreement to her words. "It's still pretty early, though.. and we're the only ones here," he told her, pausing for a moment as his wings fluttered. "I hope you don't mind a nice, long shower."

Smiling all the more at him, she held him against her as much as she could, hoping he didn't mind. Hearing his laughter made her purr more as she flicked him again with her tail to see if he'd laugh or what. "Hm... I think if it's with you, I wont mind," she told him, tilting her head up slightly to see him better. "Do you like it hot," she asked him, slowly starting to pull away from him as she stretched again and arched her back. Her tail slowly uncurled from his leg, but wrapped back around his tail as her arms moved out to take his hands into her's. Trying not to keep yawning at him, she giggled faintly watching him as she waited for him to get up now and join her side.

Laughing all the more as she batted his thigh, he buried his face against her chest to keep from getting too loud. "Stop it," he managed to get out through laughter, squeezing her side and slowly rolling over onto his back. Hearing her question, he nodded eagerly, smiling and purring at her. "Steaming," he assured her, watching her get up and feeling her tugging his tail with hers. Almost begrudgingly, he scooted off the bed to join her at her side, looping his arm through hers and purring louder as he curled his tail around hers again.

Resting her head on his shoulder, she started to move towards the bathroom with him. "Ticklish on your leg," she asked him, thinking about his reaction to her tail. Toying with his tail with her own, she slowly moved into the bathroom and waited for him to come in before shutting the door behind them. "You want to get the towels down," she asked him, her eyes moving about the room before moving towards the tub. Opening the doors, she leaned in to the tub slightly while bending down to turn on the water. Barely touching the cold, she waited to make sure it was coming through nice and hot before turning the head on.
