The body of Wally West fades away, as do the blood stains. A 'slam!' sound is heard from downstairs, immediately followed by the slamming of the study door as Wally runs in.
He is breathing hard, and is covered in wounds.
Suddenly, rising up through the floor, is Kitty Pryde...
"YOU!"
"Shhh..."
Kitty phases into the book shelf. Wally runs over to it, knocking over books. Suddenly, she apears behind him-grabbing his head and SLAMMING it into the desk! Wally falls backwards, and Kitty phases through the wall as a knocking is heard on the door.
"Wally, is that you?"
Before Wally can answer, Kitty phases from underneat him and trips him down to the ground with a THUMP!

Kitty kicks Wally in the ribs! Soon, though, he is on his feet. He grabs Kitty by hair and whips her towards the desk. She phases through it.
"I know you're in there, I can hear you! Wally, unlock the door!"
Kitty climbs up on top of the desk, phasing her hand through a drawer and pulling out a shiny metallic object...
"Wally West you are NOT hanging those Flash posters all over the wall in our study, are you?! I told you it was okay to hang them in the garage, NOT where we're going to be entertaining people! Wally! Are you listening to me?! WALLY!"
Wally turns to the sound of his wife's voice and Kitty takes the chance-plunging the knife into his back, and clamping a hand over his mouth.
"FINE! You know what, we'll argue about this TOMORROW. This is going to be a fun party, no matter how pigheaded you are, because I'm going to make SURE it's a fun party! Understand?!"
Wally West's body falls to the ground, the knife sticking from his back. Kitty looks left and right, and, panicked, phases through the side wall to get away.

Bigby frowns at the scenario as it fades away.
The angle of the blade is wrong. And, while Kitty's constant phasing may explain why there was a distinct lack of scent in the room, it doesn't explain the open window or the electrical taste in the air...
Hey. Kid. I know you're over there. I can smell you. C'mon out.

The scene ripples once again to an empty room. Suddenly, the window slides open and a darkened figure slips in...
Remy LeBeau barely has time to straighten before SLAM! the downstairs door slams, and then SLAM! the door to the study slams.
"Well well, look at what de cat drag in, non?"
Wally Wests eyes narrow as a playing card flies at him, exploding in front of him. Wally puts up his hands to block, getting severely injured in the process.

Wally charges at Remy, slamming the two of them into the bookcase. A flash ignites in front of Wally's eyes, blinding him and staggering him back.
"Wally, is that you?"
Wally is thrown into the desk with a THUMP!

Wally groans lightly as Remy picks him up by the hair and tosses him onto the floor. Remy opens the desk, and pulls out the knife...
"Wally West you are NOT hanging those Flash posters all over the wall in our study, are you?! I told you it was okay to hang them in the garage, NOT where we're going to be entertaining people! Wally! Are you listening to me?! WALLY!"
Wally rises to a sitting position, reaching towards the door. With the knife in his hand glowing with a charge, Remy comes up behind Wally...and STABS him in the back. Wally's eyes flutter, rolling back into his head, and he falls to the ground. The knife, no longer glowing, sticks out of his back at an upward angle.
"FINE! You know what, we'll argue about this TOMORROW. This is going to be a fun party, no matter how pigheaded you are, because I'm going to make SURE it's a fun party! Understand?!"
Remy blows a kiss towards the door and slips out of the room through the window.

Bigby looks at the body, and shakes his head.
Angle of the knife still isn't right, even if West is on his knees. And though LeBeau's power discharge accounts for the 'charged' nature of the room, it doesn't adequetely explain West's previous injuries.
I NEED to find out what he was doing during that missing hour and a half!

Bigby walks over to the body, and grabs the knife. With a hard yank and a 'splortch' sound, he pulls it out of Wally's back.
Unless...West was already lying face down BEFORE the knife went in...
With a meat "STAB!" sound, Bigby plunges the knife into the corpses's back-sticking exactly straight up and down.

Ai, end simulations, and delete programs.
Everything quivers and fades away.
West's autopsy is tomorrow, and I have a feeling it's going to have some interesting conclusions...
