Jiscal turned his head to the imp, and for a moment and snatched his crown. "At the moment, you would find more cheer in a graveyard." he said rather astutely. Turning his head back to the short girl, Jiscal responded to her questions. "I am a royal, we have blood that allows us to rule. I inherited this land from my predoceser, and only one with royal blood may do that." He responded, keeping his answer as dimwitted as possible. "If I eat the pup, I kill the pup."

Tarathiel looked at Malik and could barely hold back his laughter. "You speak of such things as though they never happen. I am the choas, that sweeps through the night. You, Malik, you seem to only have hate." The drow shifted his feet and looked at the flaming sword. "Pretty thing, but what will you do without it?" The drow paused, "Probably the same thing I did when I found myself without my wizards or skills. I lived."

Aella had stepped back and out of the way. She wasn't about to mix heresfl up in a drow fight.

"Oh is this yours, glad I found it. Some theif almost just stole it." Jaun let out a depressed sigh. He really liked that crown...Jell noticed his down trodden brother and put a hand on hi shoulder.

"I thought it was terribly funny."

"Terribly? That's great!" He perked up. "Well, now that I have a crown, what do you want to do?"

"I see a tablle covered in food...." Jaun placed a claw on Jell's lips.

"Speak no more brother." And they were off. Soon all maner of food was being flung around the throne room. Jaun had an armful of meatballs, and was hucking them at passers by, or more accuratly people he happened to run bye. Jell was bathing in the punch, then trying to get people to drink it.

Eliot ignored the flying food and the ocasional glass pressed to hre lips. she knew this man thiought her a child, and a dumb one at that.

"Royal Blood?" She was disgusted, "Your blood smells no different from mine sir. You bleed the same as I. You are not royal, you are not privialged. You have only forced the masses to believe so."

She tried to look this man up and down but was unable to make her point. She was just to short.

"You killed pups not for food but for malice. You killed the young and the old, only to have the fit serve you wine and clean your linens. You disgust me."

She shook her head and laughed. Royalty always assumed everything was theres just because they had "blood."

"You bleed the same as i...sir."

Mud kicked up from the soggy banks as one set of hooves found purchase on the land, giving a further burst of speed to the creature they bared, and the wind from the other set stirred it up and flung that mud without thought behind them, half covering the one set of tracks. Terran was indeed enjoying this...little miss Piper was sure giving him a run for his money seeing as he was having to push his mount so hard to stay in front of the Zephyr...yet he knew something was wrong. Her Zephyr wasn't giving all his effort forward. Didn't matter...the race wouldn't be going on much longer...so a snap of reins and a kick to his mare, an encouraging word in elvish and she put on another effort of speed, widening the gap between them.

For now she let Terran be in lead as the two tore across the place, over both land and water. She was having Serino hold back, trying to have Terran's confidence make him blind to danger. Then she planned to plant an arrow in his back. At his little urging to his mount she smirked slightly and let him make that gap between them wider as their course lead on. Seemed he was indeed getting cocky. Pulling her bow around she reached back and grabbed one of those mithril tipped arrows from her quiver...and Serino's motion was no problem to her, Zephyrs were smooth rides. Piper notched her arrow, but didn't take aim yet. Give him a little more leeway first.

Kieran stood from his crouched position on the slight cliff like outcropping of rock. Keen elven eyes that were aglow with gold scanned out over the place. of course to his vision at the moment, it looked less like the Underdark and more like something akin to his home. He was scanning for anything that might seem out of place at the moment. His hand rested on his shoulder in habitual fashion and he sighed...this was the most interesting and unfortunate situation his daughter had gotten herself in. And without Nerian, he was pretty much more or less stuck at the fortress. All he could do was count on Malik for the moment.

Morelle watched form his spot on the floor, a littel surprsied. You were looking for someone to help you, weren't you Eliot?

"No, I don't." Jiscal responded. "You see, young woman, though your notions of equality are stimulating, they are impracticle in a society were the have nots out number the haves, and would surely destroy the nation if they tried to balance the equation. Th lack of wealth in this nation is the result of poor and moronic rulers who failed to realise that they were several steps from oblivion, yet, I from my neutral stand, had noticed that our economy is stripped of any gross networth that could even come close to feeding everyone the same loaf of bread. The problem is, we do not have the infrustructure to support this equality. We cannot create it, because we do not have the resources, so we rely on things such as monarch to bring some hope to everyone else. Most peasents are unhappy, and that will not change with a simple change of governace. The people are hungry and enslaved because our tiny port cannot support anyone who lives here." All common sense and simple observations, "Why do you think the colussium was such a spectacular show? Its a form of appeasing those we cannot feed."

"Hate is what drives the Tier'dal. our father, the prince of hate forged us in those fires, and they burn always in us. Lloth and her chaos mean nothing. the spider queen..bah. Chaos benifits nothing. it provides nothing but a puzzle with constantly moving peices to play with. It's your chaotic ways that first place the seeds of rebellion in other's minds who might have been loyal before. your chaos caused destuction that was never needed, to kill a ruler who was hardly worth the effort. now your new ruler will have to spend good time and money he doesn't have to try and fix what you did before someone see's the weakness and tears the rest of the city down. and without the watch tower, thanks to you, he does not have access to the far reaching sight of his predecessor. So unless you want to babysit, you practically crippled the kingdom you gave him."

A glance at Malvolence.

"malvolence and I are bound, one to the other. take him away, he'll find his way home, or I'll come get him. and you say you have enemies coming for you? why am I not surprised, and by ship no less."

He walked over to Tarathiel, sword still in hand, looking at him.

"if it wasn't for the fact the Oracle is aboard your vessel, I would wish they send her into the depths. but seeing as she is, I can't have that, now can I. So i don't have any other real option but to offer my assistance or at least wish you well in the fight to come."

Then his attention went to Whirlwind.

"and you..the least you can do is send Onyx some kind of message as to your condition. A Vah's promise is a lifelong thing. he promised to get you free of your slavery, and protect you until that time. and he is boudn by that word to do that until it happens. he's been searching for you, and quite frankly, been very aggravating about it. He wants you and the lizard back. the least you can do is let him know what your doing."

"You do not fix your world by killing others. My forest was a marvel and it was not done with slaves, or lies or forced rule. Everyone lived as the chose to."

Man she hated being undermined. She was not a stupid woman she knew how to live, and protect her family. She aslo knew there was no convincing a man who belived his own lies.

"There are those who deverve to be free, not caged. I swear to make your place life hell, your halls dirty and your wine sour!"

Catching a sight of Morelle she remembered why she was there in the first place.

"Imps!" she yelled, "You like your fun? Follow me and you will have more of it, we will cause this castle to fall." Her voice was clear, deliberate and slow. She turned to walk out the door, twirling four daggers into her hands as she went.

"Oh? And what does Malik care about Onyx? You don't seem the type who'd get along with him." She lifted an eyebrow. Course, she couldn't say that she knew Onyx all that well either. And she had been rather busy. What with taking care of the Oracle, getting rid of Dimitri...her life had been pretty full to worry much about anything else. She also couldn't help but feel mocked from a pure-elf giving her"advice."

"I'll let Onyx know."

"Did you here that?"

"Cake?"

"No no, jell. Fun."

"Cake?"

"Fun."

"Fun?"

"Fun."

"FUN!" There was a flurry as food was dropped or thrown, and the two happy imps skipped off after Ekiot on all fours.

Eliot found herself once again running down hall ways and corridors. As she ran she saw Warren and just for kicks, because she needed one, she flipped him off she ran past.

The Imps she had met earlier followed her eagerly chattering the whole way. She hoped they woul do what she wanted... she just needed to be, persuasive. Once her and Morelle finally reached the slave quarters she stood panting for a moment, looking at th elarge iron door blocking her from her father.

Once she caught her bretah she planted her hands on her hips. "Well well, what a beautiful iron door! to bad its in our way isn't it boys?"

She hoped she could goad them...

"You mean the fun is inside?"

"But why put a door on fun? It's...I mean...not right."

"Okay! Here we go!" Jaun grabbed a holf of Jell's left amr and leg and hoisted him up into the air. He spun, jell making a buzzing noise with his lips, on the third spin he let go, and sent Jell sailing towards the door.

Jell phased through said door seconds before impact. On the other side of the door one could here Jell's voice. "Hey cool! This guy has stiches in is mouth! Are you dead mister? Are you going to eat my brains? Oh, not the talking type, eh?"

"Jell!"

"Oh yeah! Sorry mister, I gotta let my friends in. We'll talk later." Together the imps crouched down on either ide of the door. They stuck their claws in the side crack and started to play with the unges. Soon, both nails were out and the door was off it's hinhes.

The jumped up together. "Ta-dah!"

Eliot was impressed. Not only where they very strong and smart...but they were making her laugh.

"Oh wow what fun!" Eliot jumped up and down with a mischivious glint in her eyes.

"Imagin the fun if we started taking down really bid doors! Oh, even better! If we let that man out! who knows what kind of a rukus he'll stir!" she stopmed her feet for emphasis, "those people upstars wont like thta for sure! No way! What fun! What fun!"

Eliot thought she understood how there minds worked. She aslo hoped they would release her father in a timely, and unpainful fasion.

"What are you doing here?" Dagger asked the little girl who just appeared infront of her, painting and apparently coxing someone into action. She was standing near the cage, looking into the faces of the men looking for someone who apparently was not there. "What is that? Freeing the imprissoned? When they are free, who will feed and clothe them?" The noise of the rambunctious imps was not lost to Dagger. "Fiends, hold your spells or suffer the consequences."

Jiscal was glade to be free of the childish opposition to his rule. Malik had a point. "You did cripple this kingdom very severly. So much so, I am going to have to free the slaves to fill the population void left by your slaughter of the soldiers."

Diamond frowned, he didn't want Jiscal to do that. Freeing the slaves would cause a rather large amount of tension in the upper class, causing people to question things, such as paing tax. Why give funds to a king who can buy the freedom of all the slaves.

Tarathiel locked his eyes onto Malik's. "You are nothing without the weapon, then. Should you not have it, you would be dead. A bad thing, indeed to relly so heavily on a thing." Pondering the following questions, momentarily. "That is very true. I did weaken the kingdom, what seeds of destruction I have sown. But Malik, why do you think I love this Queen of the Damned Spiders? Her hairy legs appaul my senses, and her thirst for nothing quenches my bones dry. In the chaos is growth, for out it, why the hell would you ever need your sword?"

"Your hatred does not bode well for society any more than chaos does, for in true hatred there is no peace, as the chaos grants none as well. You cannot sleep at night, you cannot love your wife, you cannot know what lies in the brightest rays of the sun, so long as you are bogged down by your loath. Loath, the root word of Lolth. Is that ironic, or not?" The drow paused, "Not, it cannot be, for you know nothing of the spider queen."

"Shut up, Captian." Jiscal said bravely. "If you don't mind, you can keep your war mongering to a minimum until my kingdom is able to defend itsself. I know i cannot trust you to save it any more than I can allow those ddwarves to maintain their inner kingdom."

Tarathiel laughed, "He told me to shut up, how... Chaotic."

"Now, can you give me something to bribe those dwarves with? If not, I would appriciate it if you did something other than destroy my kingdom for a day." Jiscal was ferious.

There eyes were big, adn they watched her like a god. "Really?"

In seconds Jell was chewing on the man's chains, and Jaun was cutting the stiching with a claw. They were giggling through the whole thing.

Jell worked his wa through one chain and started off on the other. Jaun was rooting up on. "Chew, chew, chew!" He pumped a fist in the air. "OH yeah! Uh-huh! Get down with your impy self!" He dance and shook his bottom. "Look Jell, just like those belly dacners on Jargon 12!"

Jell laguhed as he snapped through another arm chain, chrunching the mettle with an aweful screeching noise. Leg chaisn came next, and the enck chain last. When he was done, jell jumped to his feet. "All done!"

Jaun cheered, the smacked their forheads together in their on version of a high five.

They stopped..."Suffer? But we already finished..."
