The coffeehouse? Jadyn asked, looking to the girl. You're right, it is quite cold out here, so yes, we can go there, he said before coming to a stand, offering his hand to the girl.

Pretty Lolipop "N-not many people here do?" Jordiar said, blushing as she...hugged him? Jordiar wasn't exactly what to call it, so he left it without a name. "I would have thought...I mean, humans here seem so curious, I would have thought many would have tried to understand, but I suppose maybe any knowlage of ages past would have been lost, if they had been here at all..." Elven and Runic languages are very uncommon, silly! Hotari giggled, bouncing in delight. Are you part elf? Oh! Are you part god of some sort? She hoped the boy would say yes, but couldn't remember in her sudden burst of happiness if this had already been touched.

"I-I'm not sure I'm anything as fancy as that..." Jordiar said, his foot shifting slightly. "I think, if one was to have the equivalent here...My mother was a Crinaeae, and my father was a river spirit, but I don't think one could call him a god..." He shook his head. "So I suppose I'm a...male nymph? IS there even such a thing?" He ducked slightly. "I'm not near as powerful as even part of a god. But..." He paused, blinking. "Rayel, my caretaker...He is part elf. He's the one that taught me what little I know. I know...enough to get lost." He blushed and smiled shyly.

Oooh...My mom and brother would be happy to know there're other elves around! My mom grew up with wood elves, which is why she knows elven languages...and...I'm not sure why, but one of my half-mortal siblings has pointy little elven ears! She knew Riley wouldn't appreciate being talked about behind his back, but Hotari wiggled happily and cupped Jordiar's cheeks. Don't be shy! You gotta start learning somewhere, and nobody ever learns anything right away. Especially languages! She giggled and hugged him before taking a step back and clasping her hands together before her again. Are you lost as in...Direction wise? Or language wise? She blushed faintly, having let herself get all jumbled in her excitement over the prospect of sharing cultures with her new friend.

"Lost in the sense that, ah, I know enough of the language to ask where that bathroom is and where I can get some food, and how much something is." Jordiar blushed a little more. "But that's all. I'm not used to communicating in it, because I never really needed too."

Hotari laughed softly at Jordiar again and shook his head, petting his shoulder. Other, special languages are fun for secrets and such, though! She laughed again and bounced in place, almost wanting to meet this elf of his. Would you like to come with me to get something to snack on, Jordi?

"A...snack?" Jordiar blinked, then ducked a little. "That...might be nice. I haven't eaten lunch yet....Not that that's unusual." He blushed a little. "I'm always so worried I'll eat too much and get fat..."

Hotari giggled softly, shaking her head to Jordiar. You won't get fat, silly, not if you eat good food and excersize! Do you want to go find somewhere to have lunch with me? She tried her best to make it sound casual and not like she was asking the shy boy out for a lunch date, but she wasn't sure if that's how her offer was coming off or not.

Jordiar thought a moment, then tilted his head to the side. "Could we stop by my house first to drop off my book? I don't want it to get lost, and...I'm afraid I'll put it in the wrong place if I try to transport it there by magic." He ducked. "I'm still learning. It's easier in this place for me, and I...overshoot."

Of course! Hotari giggled, not wanting to discourage Jordiar any by telling him he was silly for thinking something would happen to his book if he tried to orb it home. She bounced in place and waited for Jordiar to start leading the way, watching the boy so she might absorb some more information about him.

"Thank you," Jordiar said with a little smile. He nodded foreward. "It's this way. And, if Rayel is there, I can introduce you?"

Oh! That'ed be wonderful! Hotari giggled, greatly pleased that she wouldn't have to ask for this to happen and that it was just happening. Absolutely lovely.

"Then hopefully it'll warm up soon so he can at least get started... because you can't start building when the ground is frozen or the house will shift when the ground thaws.." Isabella said.
Lena smiled and took hold of Jadyn's hand as she moved to stand. "It's this way..." she said, starting to lead him back towards the entrance of the gardens.
((I'm so sorry that it took me so long to reply, but my internet has been all wonky lately and it cut me off last time I tried to reply))

((It's fine, Ellie, my computer has been dead for over a month so I can only get on my sister's computer once every while. <3))
Jadyn smiled to the girl before nodding, letting her lead the way. After you, he said, shivering in the cold as he followed close behind.

(('Tis ok. I never mind waiting. <3))
Erordia nodded. "He's used to outside conditions and the like so he won't start building until spring probably." She continued to move along until finding the little opening from before, turning to slip by and come into the over-grown garden. "Plus, he wants another certain girl's opinion on the spot he chose. It seems he's gotten over his last girlfriend's sudden disappearance and has fallen for another."
