A.R.G.U.S Mykal Singis 17 A.R.G.U.S Mykal Singis 17 A.R.G.U.S Mykal Singis 17 Well some armies can and some can't cope for example my AC lost to tau because of all of their heavy weapons. I lost to death guard two because of a flying daemon prince. I lost to speed freaks because well I lost first turn and they were on top of me by then... AC can win but there are quite a few list that are quite good at ripping them apart. Is it true that you're only allowed to have 6 tanks?
-Mykal no you can have up to 17, one for each slot but the type of tank varies... Okay, so 17 Heavy Supports to 3. And not all of those Heavy Supports will have Anti-Tank.
Yeah, they seem shitting hard to beat.
-Mykal true but point wise it's much harder to get 17 tanks on the feild Doi, of course. :XP:
So what do you normally field?
-Mykal Well the way it works out is that I have to have some form of ruses as my command vehicle. And then two forms of ruses as troop choices after that I usually throw one more ruses in so I have a solid phalanx of amour. then I get a hell hound and if it is a 1250,1500 or 2000pt games I will most likely use my fast attack choices and elite choices on mechanized storm troopers and armored fist squads...and theirs always the occasioninal tech priest with tech servitors.

Random question, and this is nearest thread.
Where are the actual rules for "weapon teams"? The Lost and Damned list suggests that I can make weapon teams from Traitors, and I know basically what they means, but I'd like to know the specifics.
Do they put that in the core rules, or am I going to have to pester someone with the IG Codex?

All they are is two men in a squad who are given a heavy weapon it really has no special rules besides the weapon rules

The reason I asked is I seemed to recall the ability to leave weapon teams behind so that they didn't impede the movement of the squad to which they were attached.
Am I completely off-base?

I thought there were 2 different ways. Like...similar to Chaos, you can have one speacial/heavy in a squad, and then a seperate squad for your heavy support of dedicated special heavy?

I want them badly, for those feckers I'd jump right back into 40k, I wanted a Krieg army for a long time now. Damn it, I hope that they come with some really good custom heavy weapon platforms, as their standard lasguns are of the primitive stamp, it would only be fitting for them to sport primitive support weapons as well.
Dare I say, squad based heavy stubber teams! whee
