Lots and lots of vehicles obviously! xp
Be sure to give them a LRDG feel, with extra drums and cannisters attached to every inch of the vehicles, maybe give them extra weapons as well.

Did anyone ever buy a set of Grot Tanks from FW?
I'm really tempted, but are they at all worth their price?
Same goes for the Mega Dread. But I think I'll leave it a while before I get that.

If you are a bit familiar with Forge World rules then you should know that they are more a coolness factor than an actual effective presence on the table top. (Elites for regular Ork armies as long as a Mek HQ is in the force, 3-6 large squadron, 30 pts. per model excluding weapons, count as tanks with 10-10-10 BS3, move 2D6" per turn, have option for commander tank which allows for a re-roll of movement distance, due to scrappy nature all Grot tanks have 5+ invulnerable save)
Personally I think that they are a bit overpriced at £58, no matter how adorable and modular they are. sweatdrop

But that cute factor easily gets me when it comes to Grots. Maybe it's for a future investment, when I have an Ork army already built, then I can go for the cute and awesome factors.

Orks might get a plastic boost some time next year, don't hold me on this though, but a tiny Goblin says that we might finally see the new Buggy / Trakk kit in plastic as found in the IA 8 book.

Would it be ridiculous having 120 boys on 1000 points with 1 warboss

x-InsigNia-x Would it be ridiculous having 120 boys on 1000 points with 1 warboss ridiculous, and moreover counterproductive if enemy is mechanized and basic boy cant scratch his armor - and/or he can outmaneuver you totally eldar style

Have to agree wtih Van Evok there, unless you upgrade them with rokkits and lead them with Nobz using power claws. Then you can tear up tanks and wouldn't worry about being outmanoeuvred, you'd already be coving half the boards and just shoot them or catch them eventually

ahhah dw you cant have an ork army without power klaws but the shootas only have big shootas while the half of them are sluggas so they would have rokkits

Green Tide armies can work. Or can they? They can. No, they don't. I don't know. As long as you have enough bodies between the Warboss (you) and the enemy (them) you should be okay. Just need to keep the momentum up and hope that the enemy isn't armour heavy or fields a leaf blower list.
Lessee now:
HQ.
Warboss - power klaw, 'eavy armour = 90
Troops.
Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x big shootas = 230 Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x big shootas = 230 Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x big shootas = 230 Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x rokkit launcha = 245 Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x rokkit launcha = 245 Ork Boyz (30) - Nob w. power klaw, 3x rokkit launcha = 245
181 models at 1515 points, not bad, bump it up to 1750 or 2000 and toss in some Kans or Wagons and you've got a party going.

Lol the army list you had done was exactly mine but my warboss with a bit tweaked out a bit with extra stuff. As well I have 10x nobs with painboy and other stuff upgrades so it ought to be fun. biggrin . Green tide with red and yellow what a beautiful view.
