come on, the space marines and all of the imerium are obvioulsy facists and nazis! they only like humans and they want to kill races that are diferent
Wrong. The Emperor himself never said to testroy xenos. However, the high council of ultramar, responsible for what the marines do, said so. This council is infact made of daemons. That's right, the ultramarines serve Chaos.

This is exactly why the Council of Zion is always under check by Gabriel Taralis. He's a very suspicous man of everything, especially of the Council Of Ultramar's actions, and he and his chapter have an edgey record of siding with Tau and Eldar.

He's possibly the only key to knowing what the Imperium was like 10,000 years ago.

Just because he sides with Tau and Eldar however, doesn't mean he's disloyal to the Emperor. Insult his loyalty and you'll find yourself at the end of his bolter barrel. He will attack Tau and Eldar incursions, most of which are ended without too much violence, but he won't lead un-provoked attacks.

However... NEVER see him as a coward for siding with these two races. When it comes to the forces of Chaos... watch out. The entire Chapter has a burning hatred of the traitors, a trait that has burned itself into the geneseed of the Arch Angels.

When it comes to the Orks, Tyranids and Necrons, he merely seems them as a virus that threatens the Imperium. When you threaten the Imperium, he will take extreme action. Those who do not threaten the Imperium intentionally, he will be more than happy to leave alone to their own accord.

Behaviour like this has caused upset in the Imperium and Space Marine chapters. Even Cpatain Sicarus of the Ultramarines 2nd gave this account:-

"He claims to be ever vigilant and loyal to the Emperor. Yet, he collaborates with vile xenos! He makes me sick to the stomach, but I have to respect his unique fighting. He moves gracefully along the battlefield, cutting down heretics and banishing demons, but we still cannot allow this man to continue his collaboration with xenos.

I remember one time, during a small Tyranid attack on Lorn VII, me and my men were holding back the vile Tyranids, yet they were beginning to push through and my men couldn't last any longer. Yet... reinforcements arrived. In the form of two Arch Angel chapters led by the coward and a Tau strike team. The moment he came out of that craft, I thought he would attack the Tau... but he began yelling orders to them to drive back the Tyranids, he led Tau and Space Marine that day.

The battle was won, but a grievous wound was made in my admiration towards the Chapter Master. From then on, I saw him as a coward and a collaborator. Afterwards, I approached him and his Honour Guard, I said he was a fool for bringing the Tau and that he had shown disloyalty to the Emperor. Instead, I got several guns trained at me, one even from Taralis. I warned him not to bother, but he said very harshly never to doubt his loyalty.

I hate him, but I can't but help respect the man! Serveral times during the battle, he even stopped fighting to pray to the Emperor. For a man who loves the Emperor so much, he sure seems to disobey him with his xeon alliances."

Thank you caga, for once again showing you know what's up in the 40k fluff.
Besides, tell me it isn't the slightest bit odd that Marneus Calgar is wearing a pair of DAEMON WEAPONS. LOL.

That was uncalled for. neutral

I don't care if you are a mod, no one has the right to talk to someone in that manner. I was merely detailing fluff that I had created and how I've intergrated it into the exsisting fluff. That's what this guild is for. To discuss, as I was doing. I was discussing how Gabriel fits into the insane world of 40k.

Now I think someone owes an me apology for that unnessercary hostility.

Actually, under the circumstances what he was saying was sort of true. We were discussing OFFICIAL fluff. As in things that would hold up in a game, the real world if it were 40k, and so on.
Writing your own stuff doesn't really count. After all, if your guy was investigating the heretical high council of ultramar, unless he's a ********, he'd notice they're daemons. Then kill them. Then solve the problem, but be exiled for killing people of the Emperor's divine work.
Yay double negatives.

This is why you leave fluff to the professionals. Or at least those that get paid for it.

Still, no need for hostility. You're a mod, you're supposed to keep the peace around here? neutral As with Mat, but he went and showed hostility. Signs of a bad mod I'm afraid. neutral

And I only said he suspects. Until he has enough evidence of the deamons in the Council of Ultramar, then he'll take action. [/defends]

There is a certain irony in the fact that the Imperium is taking orders from a council who interprets the words of a man who hasn't spoken in 10,000 years and is probably doing a better job serving as a galactic monument.
