Yokou arrived just in time to see the kage's despair for herself. She looked up at the rooftops, the Byakugan intensified her glare, and pure anger radiated from her. The Iwa ANBU’s interference was irritating her, eavesdropping was most unbecoming. The ANBU within sight departed but with her doujutsu, Yokou knew there are ones remaining to listen in on the conversation. She let them be, the Konoha group were still foreigners within Iwa, after all. In her coldest voice, Yokou spoke to the Hokage. "Are you finished?" She was referring to his weeping, shed for his lost child. Akane wasn’t the only one whom lost a child. She, too, had lost her own, both of her children... Her son dead, died an honorable death to save his teammates...his choice to not use Juuken for himself. But her daughter...a sad ending, unfit for the heiress of Hyuuga.

Tetta walked over to shikamori just as the hokage left. It wasn't unuseual for him to leave the party all of a sudden, so he wasn't conserned. Plus Yokou had already gone after him. He placed his arms aginst the wall and leaned up aginst it. " That women is such a drag. " he said with the acent of a nara. " She dosen't want us to foucus on anything but that damned tiajutsu technique. I'll admit that it is very powerful and comes in handy alot, but It can't be the only thing we ever learn. " He paused and placed his hands behind his head. " Now that shadow possesion jutsu is quite remarkable. The ability to freeze someone and strangle them with out haveing to lift more than a finger. Now thats a useful jutsu! " He said excitably, tring to influence shikamori into teaching him the technique threw flattery.

Kei led the way home with the bundle in her hands. It was about a bit less than a mile to her house, or apartment, if you wish to get technical. She was about to pull out her key to unlock the front door when she saw a messenger hawk sitting above her. "Brother... is that a...?"

Trying to be funny, He quickly ducked behind her shivering a little pointing to the hawk purched on her house above her. He spoke with a tone that would suggest that he was extremely scared. "I-I-It's a...b-b-b-b-b-bird.Hahaha." Reck stood up and moved next o Kei loking at the Hawk wondering what it was doing here. He noticed a piece of paper strapped to the birds leg and spoke back to Kei. "You know, I think its a messenger bird...maybe?"

Shikamori sighed and dropped to the floor. He have a headache the size of Mt. Everest and Tetta's imitation of the Nara attitude was not helping. Yokou, that heartless woman...why does she always insist on leaving him with her clan members? He actually really missed the older Uchihas. That clan's members may be equally obnoxious, but hey, at least they were the only ones capable of pushing the Hyuugas back in line. Yokou most certainly had butt heads with the Uchiha leader more than on one occasion.
Shikamori grimaced, remembering the most horrible part of trying to get some new rule passed. He couldn't remember a time where the Konoha council would not end up in a deadlock, the other clan leaders either siding with the Hyuugas or the Uchihas. Shikamori, as the oldest Nara, represented the Naras on more than one occasion. He rarely took sides but if...pressured to (more of threatened/mobbed by angry Hyuugas)...he would usually take the Hyuuga's say because of Yokou. And nearly every time, an annoyed Hokage had to make the final decision due to things...sometimes getting out of hand.
The Nara paled, remembering on one certain occasion when many of the Uchiha clan members had their Sharingan flared and most of the Hyuugas taking their Juuken stances. He had a feeling the only reason Lady Hokage kept him there was because of his Kagemane...and could freeze multiple targets if things were to get out of hand. How...troublesome... Negotiations with the Uchihas was probably the only time Yokou would act a bit childishly... He couldn't really blame her after their treacherous teammate Museifu. But eventually, the two clans did reach some sort of mutual agreement...more of a truce...
"Don't do that, Tetta-kun..." Shikamori muttered. Somehow, a Hyuuga speaking like a Nara...it bothered him. It seemed wrong, out of place...downright weird. One could say he got used to hearing about fate. "Listen up, you're right - the Juuken Kempo won't be the only techniques you'll learn..." Shikamori drawled on tiredly. "But, not many are fortunate enough to be born Hyuuga either." A small smile was directed at the Chuunin boy. "Heh... When we used to go on missions as Genins, Yokou-han was always the one left unscathed. Your clan's style can do things a poor lowly Nara like me can only dream of..." And then his voice dropped quietly.
"I kinda envy you guys... I wasn't lucky enough to be born with eyes like yours. If you can't learn to appreciate your own natural gifts, you cannot learn to appreciate the gifts of other clans." Shikamori smiled as he remembered...it was only recently Yokou asked Shikamori to teach her genjutsu. Yokou took pride in the Hyuuga way...he hadn't expected her to want to learn any other offensive styles, but had shut up and obliged with her request. "The Nara clan's techniques... I won't teach it to you." He said simply. "I won't teach any of you Hyuugas anything... Until you can give me an answer to what's truly important."
Tetta, if all he admired was the power of the Nara clan's techniques, than he was fairly disappointed with the Hyuuga's legendary insight. Why did the Yamanakas, Akamichis, and Naras so often work in teams? It wasn't the techniques that are important. The Naras, for example, their techniques were actually supportive. The Akamichis held the offensive techniques and Yamanakas, the complementary techniques. It was the teamwork. It was the ability to use your strengths to complement your comrades. And those whom only care about power would often miss that point. And a well balanced group was always more powerful than a singular shinobi.
Yokou...though she had the Juuken, and was always left unscathed, she still chose to learn medical techniques. Not for herself, but for others... So that she can prevent as many of her precious people from dying. And Shikamori was surprised when she showed interest in supportive techniques. It wasn't true, Hyuuga didn't have to be an all offensive clan. Yokou was certainly a good example. She was perhaps one of the rare first within her generation to admire all shinobi fields. Just like the Uchihas didn't have to all be genjutsu masters - that Uchiha child was equally admirable.
Let's see, Tetta... What kind of answer you can come up with... Not simply empty words - let's see what kind of dedication you Hyuugas have!

Kei laughed as he hid behind her and then came back around. She held out her arm to it to see if it would come to her. After a minute or two it flopped down and edged itself to her shoulder. Carefully, she took the note off of it's leg and read it. It said...
Dear Uncle Areno Hanamaru and family,
My name is Areno Rin. My father, Ishimaru, told me that we had family where you are and I wanted to contact you myself. I would like to visit you, but unfortunately our village hads the Fire master to deal with. I was wondering if you'd be able to come here? That would be great, and then we could talk about our clan's achievements. How many clan jutsu have you learned, and can you use the special clan pills that reduce injury? Send a message back if you can...
Areno Rin
Wow... I have... family...? She slowly handed the letter to Reck and stared off into space.

Reck took the letter when Kei handed it to him and read it wondering what it was about. He quickly read it and a smile came across his face as he loked to Kei who still looked a little dazed by the letter. Giving her a hug, he picked her up and swung her around dancing a bit. "Sis! You never told me that you had family in the leaf village. That's amazing." He stopped spinning and put her down still smiling.

Kei gave him a half smile back and looked away. "That's because I didn't know... no one ever told me... this letter.... is addressed to my father..." She took the letter back and stuffed it into her pocket. "They mentioned a clan... I have a clan that I actually belong to... I want to go to Konoha..."

"In all honesty Hyuuga wanting to learn a Nara's technique is kinda wierd. It strange that no offence Shikamori but, I don't understand how a Hyuuga being the more dominant clan can want to learn a lesser clan's techniques. " He said and then laughed a bit and then took a slight breath and spoke again. "I wouldn't mind having Shadow Possesion either." He said and then looked to Shikamori, "Don't worry about teaching me Genjutsu I will learn it in due time." He said and then looked down at the ground, he was still standing(In a corner).

He watched as Kei stuffed the letter into her pocket and looked away saying that she wanted to go to Kohona now. "You want to go to Kohona? Well, arn't you going to tell your..." Thinking about her feelings and her past, he stopped in the middle of his question and switched up a little. "...forget that. Are you going alone? That's kinda dangerous with all the bandits outside the villages."

"Last time I checked, I did pretty well by myself.... nto even you could break through my genjutsu, and I'm sure the bandits are much weaker... I'll be fine... I dont need to be worried about. Everyone has to do something on their own once in a while..." Kei wasn't sure what she was doing, but she knew that Konoha had the Fire master and she didn't want anyone else to get in trouble just because she wanted to take a field trip...
