Leon Court Leon wiped away a tear that had fallen down his cheek, silently counting it as a traitor. He looked back up to Nikolai, then back down in shame. Of course, Nikolai wouldn't say he wanted to divorce him. He wasn't stupid. He was gonna shock him to hell with divorce papers instead of adoption ones! Wait, where was all this coming from? When did he get so suspicious of the man he loved? Maybe he should make better, happier friends. " Sawyer," he blamed quickly, then turned his eyes back up to Nikolai. " Do you really want to have more kids?" he asked quietly.

  " Of course," the Sin smiled while rubbing his husband's arms soothingly. " As much as I'd love to spend eternity alone with you in the bedroom, dearie, I know how much it means to you to have a family. I know not every child will be as obedient and sweet like our little Aysun, but as long as you're around I know I'll be able to make it through the day."

Leon CourtHe blushed, eyes darting downwards in embarrassment. " I mean, I think you'd get bored in an eternity," he told the Sin, trying to deflect from how stupid he felt for suspecting he wanted a divorce. God, he was an idiot. " You said two, plus the demon girl. Does that mean we're going to call an adoption agency?"

" No, not yet," Nikolai said as he backed away. " First of all, we'd need to have Gustav-darling around to help, since we're not exactly human and I definitely don't look my age. I'll have to call him anyway to help file the papers for that Devyn girl. Until then, I think we should adopt only her and see how things adjust before adding anymore." He looked back up at his husband. " Now, there are a few rules I must lay down, darling. We can only have so many children. I suppose four or five at a time? And we can't adopt more until the last one has gone to college. But please, dearie, at least give us a few months to ourselves once our children are gone, yes?"

Leon Court" Okay, you know I'm not going to follow any of those rules," said the teacher, already texting Gustav and asking Sawyer to bring the girl over the next morning. " I'm thinking two boys. Aysun needs a brother to play with and I've always wanted three boys like my mom and dad had. Oh, I should probably go visit their grave sometime next week, my brother's birthday's coming up. We can decorate Devyn's bedroom this weekend, take her shopping for clothes and stuff. Oh! Do you think we should get a playset in the backyard?" Leon kept going on, over-excited at the notion of expanding their family.

A large bead of sweat rolled down the side of Nikolai's head as Leon blatantly broke just about every rule. He let out a sigh, already extremely exhausted. Was it too late to scare him with divorce? The Sin looked back up at his husband, seeing the excitement on his face as he rambled on and on about how to expand their family, and he couldn't help but smile under his breath. " Yes," he finally answered, pulling out his phone to look up different playsets. " One with swings and monkey bars, I say."

Leon Court" Three swings, and a slide!" he said happily, getting a text back from Sawyer and smiling. He paused, looking back to Nikolai. " Hey, is Gustav dating anyone? Because if he's not, that new receptionist at the school is lonely and pretty. We should hook them up."

~~~" Gustav-darling is free tomorrow, so he should be stopping by to get papers ready for the children," Nikolai explained as he gazed at the text on his phone. Hearing giggles behind him, he glanced at the side view mirror to see the two little boys in the backseats happily chatting about what they'd do once they got a room. He smiled softly. Alright, maybe having a house filled with kids wouldn't be so bad. He glanced at his phone when it rang again with a message. " Sawyer's on his way to drop Aysun and Devyn off. They should be there by the time we are."

Leon CourtLeon glanced over to his husband just in time to catch the smile. He smiled a little to himself, reaching over to take Nikolai's free hand and bringing it up to his mouth to gently kiss the back of his wrist. " You know, I can't tell you how happy I am that I get to experience being a parent with you," he said quietly, thumb rubbing Nikolai's hand briefly before he released him and returned his eyes to the road. " How do you think they'll all get along?" he asked, honestly a little nervous.

Nikolai smirked at Leon before looking in the mirror again, briefly catching the two boys making a disgusted face (more to make each other laugh than show dislike for their affection) before quickly looking away. Reggie seemed to be optimistic and had no problem interacting, but Ray kept to himself in the orphanage, with only Reggie talking to him. However, Nikolai didn't get a long observation, so perhaps the boy is just as outgoing as his brother. " I'm sure Devyn-darling will be happy to have more family. I'd like to say the same for Aysun-dear, but we know something bad happened with his biological family. He might be hesitant for a while," the Sin mused.

Leon Court" He accepted us pretty quickly, considering. Maybe it'll go smoother than we think." Of course, this was all wishful thinking. As they pulled up to the house, Leon suddenly wished they'd kept driving. He wanted this all to go well, but knew that even if it didn't, he would still keep all the children. Taking a deep breath, he looked to Nikolai, then unbuckled his seatbelt and turned off the car.

There was a tense silence everyone felt, but soon enough Nikolai knew he would have to move. He opened the door the same time as Leon, moving to the back of the car and opening its door to let the boys out. Reggie hopped out and looked at the house. It was big, but he was slightly disappointed it wasn't a mansion. He was also nervous. An actual family. He had spent so many nights talking with the other kids, imagining scenarios and different families with them. What would this be...? At the same time the two got out, a car pulled up to the side. Aysun peered out the window to see the two boys gazing at the house, his own dropping to the floor. " Did my uncles get more people because they don't like me anymore?" he mumbled shamefully. " No, those kids must've just needed a home like me," Devyn tried to assure, looking to Parker and Sawyer for help.

Leon CourtRay stared up at the house. He hadn't been expecting a mansion like Reggie, but this was good too. The house was big enough, he thought, for every kid to have their own room! He hadn't had his own room since, well, ever. He partly hoped he still didn't. Years of sleeping in big rooms with other kids wouldn't make it easy to sleep alone, but he'd still try. He jumped out of the car, grabbing his backpack from the floorspace and tossing a strap over his shoulder. This was all he owned, but Mr. and Mr. Court both promised to bring him and Reggie shopping for more clothes. It was all so much and all at once. He was almost afraid. But after Reggie was given his bag, he reached out for his friend's hand and held fast. " You ready?" he asked quietly. In the other car, Sawyer coughed nervously at Aysun's question. " You know, Aysun, sometimes I get cases at work with kids just about your age who don't have mommies or daddies. There's a lot of kids out there who just don't have someone to love them or tuck them in or tickle them like your uncles do. You're so lucky that your uncles love making you happy so much that they want to make other kids happy too." He reached between the seats, finger tapping Aysun's chin to nudge it upwards, and smiled.

Reggie beamed as he held his brother's hand. " As long as we've got each other it'll all be okay!" he promised. But Aysun didn't smile. In fact, he looked even worse. " But I don't have my mommy and daddy either..." he mumbled, tears starting to prickle his eyes. " Goodness me, you're not helping," Nikolai said from the passenger window. He waited for the doors to open before holding up Aysun with one arm, the other holding Devyn's hand. He told Sawyer a brief thanks for babysitting then began walking towards the rest of the family. " Are you two ready to meet your brothers?" he asked with a smile. " Yeah!" Devyn nodded, Aysun remaining silent and downcast.

Leon CourtA giant bead of sweat began to slowly roll down the side of Sawyer's face when Nikolai responded, immediately facing forwards and tossing the reins over to his son. Parker only rolled his eyes and reached to ruffle Aysun's hair, offering the younger boy an encouraging smile and then a wave. By the other car, Leon crouched down to adjust the boy's shirts. " Okay, so Aysun is a little nervous, so make sure to be really nice to him. Okay?" Ray nodded firmly, then looked to Reggie briefly before his eyes returned to their new siblings. Leon stood and waited until they were close enough to reach out and touch Aysun's cheek. " Hey, you. I'd like you and Devyn to meet two very special little boys. They're going to be your new brothers." His other hand went down to Devyn's shoulder, and he turned his eyes to her. " I know they're really excited to meet you, so why don't you introduce yourselves?"
