In other news, Serend now knows how to speak FRENCH. O-O ...Kinda. Not really. I can just say hi and bye, plus count some, but that's all I need if I wanna start a fruitful career in prostitution in France or something. =D So I'm climbing up the ranks!

Psh, as if we don't already have those. =D Just no language cliques yet or else it's be Loli in one end, Lone in the other, and alllll the rest of us in the middle. =D ....No, wait, Fanta speaks Spanish; I suppose she'd be in her own corner too.. o-o

Well, it's less trying to figure out what they speak, and just general curiosity. 9w9 I think the language people pick for their high school foreign language requirement says a lot about them. D'< At least at my school, there were distinct groups.
Like, the people who took Spanish usually had some experience, like they had Spanish-speaking family members or even spoke it at home, or they took it middle school. It was sort of an easy A class for the people who stopped after two years and just wanted to get the requirement over with, and the smart, overachiever types continued on to take AP Spanish and AP Spanish Lit and things. D'<
The people who took French were usually the AP students who didn't fall into the other two categories.
The people who took Japanese were usually the geekier people. By the end of it, we were about 50/50 AP and non-AP, but everyone liked video games or J-dramas or anime, or all of the above!
So yes. D< I'm always curious about what group people fall into.

D< I took Spanish because that was the only language course they had! ..Outside of German, but they dropped it the year I was looking into a language course. =D
But I didn't know about those cliques! :'O I wish I went to somewhere that had more varied languages now~ ;w;

Well my high school was CRAP and I didn't even have a language class =D
I only speak English and Spanish... videogames are awesome teachers -w-
Kento speaks Spanish =D Or at least he understands when I get mad and start cursing in Spanish~

You just had one option? o-o That seems really strange for some reason. I guess I should be thankful I had a choice. D=
Being able to understand curse words isn't any indication of being able to speak the language. =w= Isn't that one of the common things people learn right off the bat? Swear words? =D

Actually Loli, I didn't have an option XD I took English and Spanish every year. We didn't even have electives. You needed P.E., Art or Theater (whichever the school dumped on you), Sex. Ed or Parental Something (whichever the school chose), and your classic classes. Spanish and English were mandatory so... bleh.
You should be VERY thankful o.o
Hey D: I know a few Italian words that aren't swear words! I want to learn Italian =D And French~

Ah, yes, I was referring to Serend with the one option thing. I suppose no options is worse than just one, but you're bilingual anyway. D'< Fancy person.
I used to have an English teacher who'd break out into Italian when she was flustered. ='D It was fun.
My roommate is fluent in Italian and French, I hate her. D'<
